Trial vs. Purchased Adobe XI Pro

When I open a downloaded .pdf file, Why am I still receiving the Trial prompt when I purchased the software yesterday?
Also, why am I not allowed to post questions in the community or forum?

Brenda have you chosen the option to License this Software?  You will then have the opportunity to enter your Acrobat serial number after entering your Adobe ID.

    Post the PDF files to a web site. The browse to them in Safari on the iPad.  When you Open the files specify the Open to occur in Adobe Reader.  Then you can have/Save them in your Documents folder on the iPad.   An iPad has limited access to files otherwise.

Therefore, although I paid for the product and it is downloaded, it is not "installed" and will not work to print documents from emails, etc.

    You must have received redemption code via email from the reseller.
    Please ensure that you are entering the right code as that would be needed to obtain the serial number for activating the product.

All goes well until the installer gets to "Running Package Scripts" then it stalls or hangs up and does not finish the installation. It runs and runs and runs. It never finishes. I wind up having to force quit the installer. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
