Trial won't convert to licensed version

Downloaded the upgrade of AA XI Pro to my new computer. I attempted to license it using the license to my AA-8 Pro but it keeps rejecting the license number. Attempted 3x to activate it off my old computer, but won't let me deactivate it either. I am out of trial days on this and I have a very busy day at work. PLEASE HELP!

Yes, it does that to confirm the upgrade purchase was valid. But there should come a point where it asks for the new serial number as well.
If you are having a problem with it accepting what you consider to be valid serial numbers, then you need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone.

so as said it works fine in FP 6 (as2) but when published to FP 8 -9 or 10 only the XML does not load at all
What could be the issue (I know that it is old code and it is pretty poor and should be fully upgraded but my
skills is not on that level, I managed to make the above work from some tutorials but understanding the publishing issues
is a bit over my head J
I would be extremely gratefull if anyone could help me out it is really frustrating especially since the file actually works fine

the two most common issues when converting from as2 vp 6 to as2 vp 6+ are:
1. failure to initialize some variable. (if not explicitly initialized in vp 6, understood to be zero. in vp+, it's undefined.)
2. vp6 is not case-senstive. vp 6+ is case- sensitive.
you have both.
body is undefined and htmltext is not the same as htmlText. fix those and retest.

How do I enter serial number after downloading elements 11 trial version to convert to full version

I followed instructions to install elements 11 trial software. I was given a serial # and was never prompted to enter the number. What ,when and how do I do this now?

Hi kjbplumb,
When you launch the software it will prompt you to enter the serial number.
Else you can launch the application and navigate to the 'Help' menu at the top and select 'Activate'. The activation screen would come up seeking the serial number from you.
Enter the serial number and the trial would be converted to full version.

Acrobat Pro Trial wiped out my licensed version of Acrobat Standard

I recently wanted to convert a PDF back to Microsoft Word because I could not find my original Word file. I thought Acrobat Standard would do it, but apparently not. Online research told me that I could download an Acrobat Pro Trial license, which can convert PDFs back to Word. It worked great but when my trial license expired, I discovered it's REALLY expensive to buy the Pro License - even to upgrade from Standard.
NOW I just want to go back to Acrobat Standard, but the Pro Trial uninstalled my licensed version of Standard and it's gone! My licensed version came preinstalled on my new laptop from Sony as an Adobe bundle. I have no physical disks or my license number.
What a mess! How can I go back to what I had prior to my Trial?

You will need to contact Sony, if they didn't include disk and serial number with the computer, and if you didn't keep a suitable backup. What would Sony expect you to do if the hard drive failed and had to be replaced, for example?

Adobe Reader never converted Publisher files to PDF, for free, never. I suspect you use to have the (paid for) Adobe Acrobat. Sometimes people have Acrobat (more than $300 worth) and install Adobe Reader over the top, losing that valuable software.
That said, if you subscribed to PDF Pack it should do this conversion. What exactly happens now.

Can't install Photoshop Elements 11 licensed version because of trial version

I can't install Photoshop Elements 11 licensed version because of trial version that is still on my computer and is not being completely uninstalled. The intended folder to install has some files remaining from the trial version, and this prevents the licensed version from installing. The intended folder from teh installer is Program Files (x86)/Adobe, but that has the trial version still there, which will not completely uninstall.

Convert from Oracle Freeware to Licensed version

We have a development database on Oracle9i and our Dev Team wants us (urgently) to migrate it to Oracle10g R2. We are planning to use the OTN License version while we are waiting for the license.
My question is, is their a way/shortcut to convert the OTN License version to a licensed version without having to remigrate the database? Any info will be appreciated. Thank you.

Well, not quite .... when you license the software properly for development and production, you have nthe opportunity to purchase support. So the big change is that you will be able to get and apply patches.

Trial version Licensed version

Hi I have a client who has recorded some Captivate content on a trial version of the software. He now wants me to complete it by sending me the .cptx recorded on his trial version. I would then complete the edit on my fully licensed version of the software. Can anybody tell me if this will be a problem? I know that you can't publish properly out of a trial version but can you transfer and complete on a licensed version?

I would like to inform you that a project published in a trial version of the software is set to expire on the expiry of the trial. However, if you have the .cptx file you can open that in a licensed version and publish it from the licensed version and there will be no problems.
Note: Please check the expiry of the project at Edit > Preferences > Project > Start and End befor publishing in licensed version.

Using a single user license, you can activate Acrobat on maximum two computers.
You need to first deactivate Acrobat from the first machine and then activate it on the second machine using the same serial number.
Please let me know have you been trying to install Acrobat and error message prompts on your screen.

Is Lightroom demo identical to licensed version???

Hi everyone,
Only a few days into my demo of Lightroom, but already I have decided to purchase it. My issue is that I have already imported several GB worth of RAW images, converting them to DNG at the same time. I just want to make sure that the demo version is in fact identical to the fully licensed version. That way, all I have to do is enter the license number and keep working, right?
Or, would it be preferable to backup my catalogue (which I'm doing automatically anyway), uninstall the demo version, reinstall the physical disc, then restore the catalogue?
This might sound like a dumb question, but I will have over 40,000 RAW files archived, and want to make sure that I am getting what I paid for. IIRC, I uninstalled the CS3 beta before reinstalling form the disc, and I think that it was required. I'm waiting for my Lightroom disc to arrive, so I thought I'd ask here...

If you like, you can also remove and re-install the app[1] -- it won't
affect your data. (Backup is always a good idea, though.) Only if you
used LR1.0 before, your library would be converted automatically. You
then would not be able to downgrade to LR1.0 without using a backup of
your previous library, as far as I know.
