Tridimensional 3D browsers for Mac

Any 3D browsers for Mac, I read an article about this subject was wondering if anything for Mac.
Thanks

Hello Ferro,
Are we talking 3d in 2d here. Or 3d in 3d - As in 3d! 3d in 2d is possible already for the mac. Well sort of. 3d in 3d is wayyy off yet. 3d don't do it for me. Now... 3d in 3d on a Mac or a PC - Now that would be " yippee "
Regards.
Ian.

  • Hi. Dear users. What about Web Browsers for Mac and IPhone 4S devices

Hi. Dear users. What about Web Browsers for Mac and IPhone 4S devices?
Test Labs: THG and something else.
Thanks for responses and future responses.
    Big Thanks.

"What about?" Both come with Safari as a Web Browser.
Can you be a little more specific as to the information you are requesting?

  • Is there an Adobe Flash Player for other browsers for Mac?

Please follow this link to see what i mean. http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
The first two system options windows etc give an option for other browsers but the Mac option does not.
Is there a way to get a *for other browsers* flash player for mac?

The reason there aren't two versions of Flash Player for Mac is that there is no longer an "Internet Exploder" for Mac since 2004. Windows has two builds because IE requires ActiveX controls and thus, a completely different architecture. The Flash Player for Mac IS for all other browsers.

  • Are there any browsers for Mac other than Safari and Google Chrome that are better with adobe flash for my Macbook 2009?

On Safari Adobe Flash freezes at times on popular Flash chatroom I visit and on Google Chrome when I try to type the typing is laggy delayed. Adobe Flash needs to be fixed in Safari and possibly other Browsers, and Google Chromes html5 or whatever flash replacement their browser uses ***** on older hardware.

Go for Safari always, you will have more advantages than any other browser. You can safely install the Adobe Flash pluguin, it will install as pref pane in your System Preferences. From there you can limit its access, block sites for storing info in your mac.
Under the advanced tab of the Flash Player in System Preferences, check “Notify me to install updates”, so you are always up to date (feel free to check out any update directly form the Adobe website to be safe).
Steve does't want to allow Flash for iOS due to security issues (long story). But it's OK for mac, if you keep an eye on it.
Google's Chrome its decent, but you know, it's Google. I will prefer to take the advantage of the Apple's ecosystem, like syncing all Safari content and passwords with iCloud, to keep using it in your iOS devices. You can have an open page in your mac, and go to your iPad and continue with the same page.
Also you can find some useful Safari extensions that will trick the websites to load an HTML5 version of the video instead of flash (like if you were on an iPad).

  • Web browsers for Mac Snow Leopard

This weekend I upgrade to Snow Loepard and then version 10.6.3. I now experience high cpu usage (and slowness)with Safari. An Apple rep told me there have been reports of this issue, but no resolution.
As a result I need to use a different web browser. I have tried Chrome (Java apps don't work at all) and FireFox (crashes every time). What other suggestions do people have that I can use as a web browser?
    Thanks

Have you "reset Safari" from the Safari Menu?
Also try Safe Mode (It will take more time to startup in Safe Mode because it runs a directory check.)
If your apps function correctly that way, go to System Preferences >> Accounts >> Login Items, and remove them. Boot normally and test. If not go to Users/(yourname)/Library/Contextual Menu Items and move whatever is there to the desktop. Then do the same with /Library/Contextual Menu Items. Lastly, try moving ~(yourHome)/Library/Fonts to your desktop and restarting.
EDIT: In the case of Safari look in Users/yourhome/Library/Internet Plug-in items and
    /Library/Internet Plug-in items.
Log out/in or restart, if that sorts it start putting items back one at a time until you find the culprit.

  • Uploading files containing swedish letter åäö gets ecoding corrupted in firefox for mac. Same features works fine in all other browsers. Is this a bug in firefox for mac?

When uploading a file containing swedish letter å, ä or ö the file name is gets corupted in the filename. There are som encoding issues just for the mac version, since the file name is uploaded correctly in all other browsers on mac and all browsers in windows.

What form does this corruption take? According to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=695995 the difference is decomposed vs precomposed Unicode forms, but that should not actually affect any Unicode-complian software. If there's a site that shows a problem here, can you point me to it?

  • I do not like to see that mozilla offers firefox for MAC and also CAMINO browsers.

    I like Mozilla.
BUT I do NOT like to be offered two browsers for my macbook.
WHY am I offered CAMINO and FIREFOX? Does not make sense.
Because CAMINO is more adhered to the MAC environ, I suggest you eliminate the other and just rename CAMINO as the version of FIREFOX for Macs! Simple, more economic for you.
Because now if I pick CAMINO I am picking a not very well known browser, and some webpages even do not recognize it (like the www.uned.es)

You can provide '''feedback''' to Mozilla here: <br />
    http://hendrix.mozilla.org/
I'm sure the users and developers of the Camino project would disagree with your opinion. And if other people thought like that back in 2002, Firefox might not exist today.

  • Mac Browsers for supporting HTMLDB Applications

Does anybody know what browsers on MACs can support HTMLDB Web Applications (i.e., certified)?

From what I understand HTMLDB is about 95% compliant to XHTML specification. I really don't know what Mac Browsers are "Certified" on HTMLDB, but when I create applications I test out everything about the app on all the available certified Mac browsers (IE, FireFox, Safari, Natscape). So far HTMLDB has performed wonderfully in all the browsers. You could look at various browsers and see how well they handle the XHTML specs for further information. Someone may be more definitive about your question, but this is what I know.

  • We have developed a desktop application using Flash software and published the same for MAC environment. When we double click on the index.app file, the application is working perfectly in Mac 10.6.7 at our office. But if the same index.app file is double

We have developed a desktop application using Flash software and published the same for MAC environment. When we double click on the index.app file, the application is working perfectly in Mac 10.6.7 at our office. But if the same index.app file is double clicked in Mac 10.6.7 at out clients location, its not opening. For your information the client is able to open this same application by double clicking on index.swf file. The main problem is that client is not able to open the application using index.app file at their office whereas we are able to do so at our office. Can anyone give some suggestions to sort this problem?

The most common reason is different versions of Flash, or different versions of web browsers used.  Some users may elect to not have Flash installed at all because of the processor overhead of Flash.  If you are going to make an application for a client, check what operating system and browser versions they are using first.  Then determine if a stand alone application is required, or if they have the necessary plugins to run specific browser enhanced code.
P.S. MAC is an acronym for Media Access Control.  Mac is the shorthand for Macintosh, the operating system and computers made by Apple Inc.

  • How do I update my browser is not compatiable and when try to update to 3.6 for Macs says the file is corrupt.

    Hi,
I am currently using a borrowed back up computer due to my computer crashing. The borrowed computer is a Mac running OS 10.3.9 with a really old Firefox version installed is 2. something. When I go to Mozilla site it says that 4.0 is not compatible with my OS. I navigated on the site till I found the location that I could download 3.6 version thinking that would solve my problem, but when I downloaded and tried to open it said that the file was a corrupt image file.
I really need the newest version possible cannot watch Netflix and sites do not load correctly with current Firefox. I just cannot make myself use IE, have not used that browser in over 6 years and don't want to start now. I have been using FireFox forever and am lost without being able to access like I am accustomed to.
Thanking you in advance for your assistance

Firefox 2.0.0.20 is the last ever release for Mac OSX 10.3.9 and earlier Mac versions.

You may have installed the "VSearch" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /Library/LaunchAgents/com.vsearch.agent.plist
Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "com.vsearch.agent.plist" selected. Drag the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password.
Repeat with each of these lines:
    /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.vsearch.daemon.plist
    /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.vsearch.helper.plist
    /Library/LaunchDaemons/Jack.plist
Restart the computer and empty the Trash. Then delete the following items in the same way:
    /Library/Application Support/VSearch
    /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/Jack
    /System/Library/Frameworks/VSearch.framework
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ConduitNPAPIPlugin.plugin
Some of these items may be absent, in which case you'll get a message that the file can't be found. Skip that item and go on to the next one.
From the Safari menu bar, select
              Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Uninstall any extensions you don't know you need, including any that have the word "Spigot," "Trovi," or "Conduit" in the description. If in doubt, uninstall all extensions. Do the equivalent for the Firefox and Chrome browsers, if you use either of those.
Reset the home page and default search engine in all the browsers, if it was changed.
This trojan is distributed on illegal websites that traffic in pirated content. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect much worse to happen in the future.
You may be wondering why you didn't get a warning from Gatekeeper about installing software from an unknown developer, as you should have. The reason is that this Internet criminal has a codesigning certificate issued by Apple, which causes Gatekeeper to give the installer a pass. Apple could revoke the certificate, but as of this writing, has not done so, even though it's aware of the problem. This failure of oversight has compromised both Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You can't rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select
              Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

  • Site won't view correctly in IE 5.2 for Mac

I'm just about ready to publish my site and it has tested
correctly in all browsers except for IE 5.2 for Mac.
Several problems are occuring such as I can't use the
scrollbars in individual boxes, the "thoughts" do not appear
correctly in the div when the "thought button" is clicked, links
inside the information containers don't work, and the transparent
    contact form is green.
The site can be found here:
    www.lightspacewebdesign.com/sacredsolas
Is there anything I could be doing to make it more
    compatible??
    Thanks!

Do not worry about IE 5.2. There are enough security holes in
it that should warrant it to be retired by any user and all further
development has been discontinued thus it will not be compatible
with Mac OS greater than Tiger (10.4) officially speaking.

    Hi,
My page www.bethhockley.com/ptihome2.htm uses two styles of
text link, both of which are defined in my external CSS

  • Acrobat Pro and AutoCad 2013 for Mac

    Hi there:
I just bought Adobe Acrobat Pro in order to make PDF files from AutoCad 2013 for Mac, but when I try to print, the option for Adobe PDF is not prompting and I don't how to set it.
I'm just using a trial version of AutoCad. I couldn't try with a trial version of Adobe Acrobat Pro, because the trial version for Mac is not available.
Could it be that Adobe Acrobat Pro is not compatible with AutoCad 2013???
    Thanks,

Indeed it is not. Acrobat X 10.1 supports ACAD 2011 (32-bit), as indicated on the product matrix:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/compatible-web-browsers-pdfmaker-applications.html
Each version of Acrobat includes PDFMaker plugins for the versions of these applications which are on general release at the time the Acrobat version is developed, so you'll have to wait a while. Adobe doesn't develop plugins based on beta versions, so with ACAD 2011 releasing in March 2010, it made it into the X build (released Nov 2010) but ACAD 2012 did not. ACAD 2013 was only released to market this March so there certainly won't be any PDFMaker support right now - beyond that I can't comment, sorry.

  • Download Accelerator Plus for Mac OS

I am an old time windows user, and i am used to having my downloads accelerated as well as organized well.
DAP is only available for mac os 1.0.3 not for anything latet than that.
Does anyone have any software tips, like download managers I can use with my mac?
    Thank you!

    Welcome to Apple Discussions!
Speed Download is a popular utility, though keep the uninstall directions handy if you find you have a version that doesn't work with your software update:
    http://www.yazsoft.com/sd/content/supportpages/uninstall.html
There have been times the software has had to be updated after a systemwide software update.
There is also a Downloads window in the Window menu of Safari, and in most other web browsers as well where you can control downloads you make off the internet.
