Tried so many solutions to error #34506, HELP!

I am a 29 year old woman who has just walked 2,650 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada. I don't give up on anything easliy. I get home and have a brand new computer waiting for me, an Ibook G4, download my photos and begin making my movie in IMovie. Import the movie to IDVD 5.0.1 and try to burn, error #34506.
8 times now. That is 48 straight hours of my life I have given up over this.
I have worked on this project over 60 hours before trying to burn. I have done nothing but be on Apple support for the past 3 days. I have asked everyone I know. I have considered calling the Geek Squad. I have attempted all suggestions, one at a time or together, and am on my 8th 6 hour attempt at rendering. I am going mad. This project means so much to me and it is my holiday gift to everyone I know. I have very little time left and need help. For real. I can't tell you how many times I have cried at the thought of this project being trapped on a slab of white plastic forever.
Here are the details:
Movie consists of jpeg images with 3 titles, no transitions, and some QT videos from two seperate Canon Coolpix cameras, with audio from Itunes, some of it downloaded from the store, but have given permission for my computer to play them. Length is 77 minutes. Tried anime theme first, but thought it was too complicated after the first error, so am using the portfolio them from 5.0 for my menu. I have taken out the chapters. Don't have a slug at the beginning, whatever that is.
I have cleared caches.
I have deleted plists
I have removed chapter markers.
I have NO transitions.
I have repaired disk permissions.
I have deleted encoded assets from other attempts.
I have reimported to IDVD three times.
I have shared to IDVD.
I have dragged and dropped.
I have tried 5 times to save as a disk image.
I seem to get all the way to audio before I get the warning, but since I cannot sit around to wait all the time, I am not sure.
I have had to force a quit 3 times when it seems to be beachballing and unresponsive.
I have turned off screensavers and energysavers.
No other apps open.
I have not exported to QT and then imported to IDVD.
I have not checked to see if I have the latest AppleScript.
I have not done MacJanitor.
I don'tknow how fast it is trying to burn the image.
I have 20.3 GB of freespace on my HD.
This is a new computer.
This is my first attempt at using IDVD5.
I am dying.
I am so frustrated I had to take a valium and sleep it off.
This is so important to me.
It previews fine in Imovie and IDVD.
I do not want to cut it down to below an hour or lose any quality.
Please help. Should I try to take the title pages out and check for Apple Script and then try again? Should I try to take the audio out to see if it is an audio bug? This bug is so nasty, it has turned my phi beta kappa mind to crappa.

Let me try to address a few of your issues:
QT videos from two seperate Canon Coolpix cameras
Could be a problem (but probably not)
audio from Itunes, some of it downloaded from the store
Quite possibly a problem
I have not exported to QT and then imported to IDVD
That would be a way to see if the problem is iMovie/QT rendering your movie file correctly
This is my first attempt at using IDVD5.
I'm sure you didn't just start out on your 2,650 mile walk on the Pacific Crest Trail without a lot of shorter walks first. Sometime with applications like iMovie and iDVD, starting with a simple project first is also the best way to go.
Both iMovie and iDVD have excellent tutorials you can do. They can be accessed from the Help menu item in both programs. Look for iDVD Getting Started/iMovie HD Getting Started. You will see the tutorials.
I don't give up on anything easliy.
I know how frustrating things like this can be. Sometimes, just stepping back a bit and taking a couple of deep breaths helps.
There has been a suggestion that repairing permissions may help in some cases of the feared #34506, but I see you have already tried that.
All of us here will try to get you through this.

The sound went on my MB Pro the other evening, first time that has ever happenned and I've had the machine 4 years. Everything came back fine once I logged out and back in, do you know what happenned to cause the sound loss? My problem came whilst web browsing.

That doesnt work for me. I removed itunes through the windows cleaner method as shown in other posts and re-installed itunes. Now im getting this error

Rebooting will not make you lose any content. Rebooting is when you hold the home button and the sleep button down at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
You can these suggestions. One might work for you.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.

Please tell us what kind of computer you have, what operating system and what version of iTunes. Not just "the latest version of iTunes", the exact version number.

Updated itunes to 12.1 and can't burn playlist. Error "attempt to burn disc failed, disc cannot be read or written to" have tried every troubleshooting solution to no avail. please help!

Itunes v7.02 doesn't open after I have tried many solutions

Okay. So before I start I have a windows XP PC. With that through, about three months ago when iTunes 7 came out I tried to download and install it. Unfortunately when I tried to run itunes 7, it didn't work. Here are some of the stuff I tried then and observed:
1.)tried to open itunes 7 from finding its exe icon in the programs folder in "My Computer". Didn't work.
2.)Tried opening an Mp3 file with itunes 7. Didn't work.
3.)tried restarting my comp many times. Didn't work many times.
4.) I opened my task manager, opened the "processes" tab, and then opened itunes 7 to see if it showed up. Itunes 7 did show up for a second, then vanished. I tried this many times to see what was going on. The same thing everytime. So at that point I guessed that itunes 7 just took too much RAM to run. But that's not the case anymore. A friend of mine who has a slower computer with less RAM than me could run itunes 7 flawlessly.
5.) I gave up amd have been running itunes 6 until yesterday.
So yesterday I went to this forum and tried some of the solutions it offered:
1.) I tried the MSCONFIG coption on the page:

and I uninstalled itunes 7 and quicktime and then reinstalled it. Didn't work, even after restarting my comp.

3.) I don't run Norton 2005 on my comp. But I do run Sophos Anti-Virus...which is a ******** program on my computer because I can't open the interface for the program b/c I don't have enough "privilages" and not part of the Sophos Antivirus Admin group. So if anyone has any info on Sophos or how to disable such programs. Please respond!

Help is here diloglm! Let's get that connection up and running. Has the phone been able to connect to other wi-fi networks? Can any other devices connect to wi-fi you're trying to connect to right now? Have you tested the router to make sure it's working with other devices? Also, reply including the software version, located in Settings>General>about.

What is the latest iOS for iPad 2? Is it iOS 7 or can you update to 8?
all I remember is that my iPad mini performed poorly under iOS 7. Try to update it to the very latest version. Also you will have to use iOS 8.1.3, because 8.1.2 is no longer signed in case you were trying to install that. You can get the latest IPSW from http://IPSW.me just enter in your device and it will forward you to the right Apple ios download link.
Another thing is keeping your device memory free, if you have a 16 gig device, it's harder to keep space free. my iPad mini is 16 gig, but all I can ever keep free is 1 GB so I keep it at that. Turn off "iCloud photo sharing beta" and that will help a little bit. also when you do a restore from iTunes, don't restore your backup right away, see how it performs fresh, and then add your apps back in one at a time you might have to sacrifice photos and other personal things for performance.

Error 34506 in iDVD - same as many others

I have 127GB free space on the hard drive. All software is fully updated.
I too am having problems burning DVDs in iDVD. I have confirmed that the drive works Ok by creating a small project of a few slides in iMovie, and burning it successfully in iDVD.
I have created a 20 minute project in Final Cut Express HD (3.0.1) from DV imported direct from the camera and edited. This was exported as a Quicktime movie both as a reference movie and a self contained movie, with and without chapter markers. These were imported into iDVD and burns attempted.
At the end I got the message ‘Burning finished - Errors were found during the burning procees, The error #-34506 was reported’. The disc was ejected untouched. Occasionally I get a message ‘Multiplexer error’
I’ve tried various suggestions on the discussions pages such as dumping the cache folder (manually and using Onyx), iDVD plist, repairing permissions and restarting, but to no avail. I’ve tried creating a disk image in iDVD but get the same error code.
I use the same process at work on an old 800MHz iMac quite successfully. The only differences are the iMacs and the fact that I use Final Cut Pro at work. I’m puzzled.

This is the most promising thread on the 34506 error for some time, but could do with some fleshing out...
How should a iMovie/iDVD user go about deinterlacing a project?
I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to burn a number of slideshows to DVD with the following workflow:
1) 12 slideshows created as individual iMovie projects and output as full quality Quicktime.
2) Final iMovie project made by importing all 12 Quicktime files. Chapter markers placed at the start of each section (except at the very beginning).
3) Sent to iDVD using the iDVD button in iMovie. Theme and menu pictures added.
4) Create a disk image.
Obviously step 4) doesn't work right now (34506 error), although I can preview the final product in iDVD just great.
If I follow the way the latest threads are going, I should like to add a step between 1) and 2) to deinterlace the Quicktime movies and possibly change the output quality in 1). How should I do this and what programs should I use to get a good looking result?
Just to explain a bit about why I am using the workflow above: my project involves more than 1000 photos with transitions between each. My first attempted iMovie project used all the photos in one big project but iMovie became pretty slow and kept crashing. Splitting the show into smaller sections (~5-10 minutes running time each) alleviated the speed and reliability problems in iMovie but I wanted the option of viewing all the slide shows together as a single movie, hence the conversion to Quicktime files which I could easily handle in iMovie.
I noticed some time ago that if I output each of the 12 smaller projects as DV quality Quicktime rather than Full quality I could complete my workflow and produce a final DVD. The problem was that the resulting picture quality was awful when viewed on a TV, with a very low resolution. Some of the individual Full quality Quicktime movies can be written to disk through iMovie/iDVD as described above and the resulting disk looks great on TV - I just can't put all the movies together. I guess I could laboriously go through and work out which individual JPGs are causing the 34506 error by repeatedly dividing the movies but it would be far better if there was a single step that could be applied to every movie which fixes the problem - and deinterlacing may be that step.
Sorry for the long post, but I hope someone can help!

For about 3 weeks, my iPod would retain charge when plugged in, but wouldn't charge. Just today, I used it until the battery completely drained, and it started to restore when I plugged it in, but then I got this "Unknown Error 1161". I tried all of the recommended solutions by Apple, and it didn't work. I downloaded the newest version of iTunes, I restarted my computer, used a 2.0 USB port, nothing works. Please help.

Is it possible you're using a case-sensitive file system on your new mac?
Can you make sure you've got the latest version of Adobe AIR installed?

normally i would contact custommer support but i m using US account and i m not from US. anyway my US account is charged with money and it workes perfectly for all my other friends using this method ( we got some free US vouchers so we needed US accounts)
