What does the "whole syncing thing" mean exactly?
This song was transferred from your iTunes library on your computer to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process, which means having Sync Music selected under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences wtih iTunes?
If so, do you have entire music library selected, or selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres selected?
Do you have sync only checked songs and videos selected under the Summary tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes?

Why do my iPhone and iPad decide, one day (and its always when you're traveling; the little bastards), to remove music from their libraries?
I'm looking at my iPad right now and it barely has a single album worth of songs. I know I can get the songs back from the cloud, but how do I get it so that I don't have to do that all the time?
My Mac keeps its music, so why do iPhones and iPads keeps removing them? I'm not doing anything special, just the "sync ALL my stuff to iOS" usual.iTunes match will stream them like pandora (just for example). If you toggle it on and off should help also from itunes on your computer with your music select store then update itunes match as well just to make sure your items are still on the cloud and matched. Once your music is showing on your device and you are connected to the internet should be able to play back with no issues, also you will see little clouds next to the songs that you can tap to download them to the device directly to play when you are off line or not connected to the internet.

I have 1 music library, but 2 iphones; how do i remove songs from 1 and leave them on another?
i have 2 iphones and 1 music library on my laptop. i just install ios7 today on one phone and now i'm seeing my entire music library on that when I really just want the playlists. i unchecked all of the music in the library but it still syncs and shows all of the songs on the phone. how do i get rid of all of the songs on the phone?

Remove items from a playlist:
1 On the Home screen, tap Music > Playlists, then tap the playlist you want to edit.
2 Flick down, then tap Edit.
3 Tap next to the item you want to delete, then tap Delete when it appears on the right.
4 When you finish, tap Done.
Delete a playlist:
1 On the Home screen, tap Music > Playlists.
2 Flick down, then tap Edit.
3 Tap next to the playlist you want to delete, then tap Delete when it appears next to the playlist.
If you tapped the wrong playlist, tap the one you want to remove.
4 Tap Delete, or tap Cancel if you change your mind.
5 When you finish, flick up, then tap Done (or swipe right to return to the Home screen if you cancel).

My computer has died and will not be working ever again. Problem is, i have all of my songs on that computer in my itunes library as well as on my phone. Now i want to add some songs to my phone from some new cds and it tells me i will loose all my songs on my phone right now when i perform the sync. How can i keep all of the songs on my iphone because now i do not have copies of these songs anymore except on my iphone?????? From what i have read, itunes is a joke because it only goes one way apparently. Not happy with itunes right now, more then a bit of a joke
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion. Use your backup copy of your computer to put everything on the new one.
If for some reason you have failed to backup, big mistake, then you can transfer itunes purchases from the iphone to the computer: File>Transfer Purchases
You may be able to buy a 3rd party program to get any other music off of the iphone ( not supported by Apple).
When you sync the iphone, it will erase the current content and replace with content form the new computer.

Hi - I cannot upload my emails through the mail icon. The first time I tried it only loaded very old emails, I then tried the whole process again and it has not imported a single email. I use hotmail, and have had no problems with my iPhone or iPad. So the only way I can check my emails on my mac is to go through the internet. Can anyone help?

I tried updating my iPod touch 4th gen and now the screen is bright blue or flashing white and black lines.ive tried the whole home and power button thing but it only brings up the apple icons then goes back to the blue or other screen.please help?

ok so this is what i did i finally got it to work...so i taped the black screen with 3 fingers and then it went back to normal and it ****** me off because i had tryed that already so when it goes back to normal even if the voice over is still on it is easy to turn it off if you follow the steps....lol i googled how to turn off voice over so google it

Weird sync thing with iPhone 3G

I have the following thing with an iphone 3G. On one mac the phone is syncing and I am able to download apps. On another mac I am able to syncing but NOT able to download apps.
The choosen apps dissapear during the syncing process
Can anyone help, where to look to solve this problem.

iemkePlug the 3G into a wall outlet, as this "can" take several hours, then: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. This will return the phone to a state just like it was when first taken out of the box. Plug it into her computer, name it what you want & sync her content to it. Or, (faster), on her computer: iTunes>Preferences>Devices...put a check in the box labeled "Prevent iPods/iPhones from syncing automatically". Connect the 3G, on the Summary Pane, hit the "Restore" button. Both produce the same result, but restoring as new is faster.

My artists are showing up as Various artists when I sync music with my iPhone 4S, even though in iTunes the song tags have been changed.
Am I missing something?
For example, I have 3 songs that are part of a compilation CD. I've change them to no longer being part of a compilation, and changes all of the tags of Arist and Album artist to the artists name, however they still show up as 'Various Artists' on my iPhone.
Any ideas?You may find you need to remove the songs and then add them back again.

My iTunes gave me the option to erase and sync with the library or just sync with Itunes purchases. Since I have songs from more than one source and all my music was in the library, I chose the erase and sync option. All my music was wiped off my iPod and a few recent iTunes purchases were synced onto the iPod. All my music is still in the library, but it won't sync to my iPod. Making me crazy.
