Tried to do fresh reinstall...now I got problems.
For some reason when I restarted my ibook g4 I little icon of the earth would come up, it took extremely long to load, and my laptop was just acting slow. No problem! I'll just start fresh, which I needed to do anyways.
I put in the install disk and follow all the directions. Everything gets installed and I go to update my software. I download them all, install them, and it tell me to restart my computer. So I restart my computer and now I just have the blank screen with the little loading icon on it...and it has been going for a good hour. Is there anyway I can..."re"reformat my computer by booting to the cd or something? I need my computer to work!! Thanks.

If your iBook is slow, reinstalling Mac OS X is not a solution. A likely cause of slowness is that your hard is too full; if so, then you have to make more room. You should try to have at 5 Gbyte free for virtual memory; and you need even more space for buffers and temporary files.
How much RAM do you have? You might also benefit from installing at least another 512 Mbytes.
As for your current problem, let's not start wiping disks until you get an idea of what is wrong. Can you boot up directly from the Mac OS X DVD? (Hold down C while booting).

You must have synched your phone with his iTunes account. The iPhone can only be synched with one iTunes account at a time. You need to synch your phone on a computer that has YOUR iTunes account. Then all the current data on your phone (your brother's data) will be erased and replaced with your own data.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

Nieghbor got U-verse, now I got problems
Hey, I've had a pretty simple Airport Express setup for the last couple of years. Two computers picking up my cable internet off a single Airport express. One computer is quite a bit farther away than the other, but still have had no real problems.
Anyhow, my neighbor recently got ATT Uverse, and a new network shows up in my Airport window. Ever since then, my basement computer will not connect to the airport on startup. It latches onto no network, I have to turn the Airport (in Internet Connect, not the actually Airport)on and off several times to get a connection. And when I do, it's not great.
I'm no expert on this stuff since it just kinda worked before... but I have changed my channel to 11 as the U-verse is on 8 and another in the area is on 5.

Unfortunately, this appears to a clear case of interference from the other wireless network. Ideally, you want to be at least 5 channels away from any other channel, but this may not be possible due to the fact that you see channels 5 & 8 in use. Try channel 1 to see if that helps.
You might also try the 802.11n 5 GHz radio mode if your computer is capable of connecting at this frequency. There is much less interference on the 5 GHz band.
Adding another AirPort Express to "extend" your wireless network may also provide a stronger signal throughout your home, but unfortunately a stronger signal does not necessarily guarantee a high quality connection. -

i talked on phone with turkish apple service and they gave me sharp answer that they wont help me as long as i dont ve receipt. thats why i need to talk with apple center because im not happy with turkish apple service... i feel like turkish apple service politly dont care about my pleasure and they dont care even if my imac id still under warranty.

Just last 2 days started getting an APS Daemon.exe-System Error saying my MSVCR80.dll file is missing when booting up my PC with Windows 7. I tried to reinstall itunes, but got another error message. Anyone having this problem or know how to fix it?

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

I changed my LCD last day and now i noticed all my pictures on my phone are gone. I tried to restore the back that I got yesterday but it wont let me because its telling me there is not enough space on my phone!!! That's wierd because I didn't download any app or anything else since my last backup and on the other hand about 3000 pictures are gone, how come there is not enough space left! I also check my usage on my phone and it shows that i have about 7.0 GB pictures!!! BUT my photos is empty! I want my picture back on my phone any solution anyone?

I just called the guy who changed my LCD and asked him what happend, he said there were no pictures on your phone when you gave it to me! i know he is lying tho!

I purchased CS5 Design Standard about 5 years ago. Now I am trying to install second PC, but I got a message like " This serial number is not correct." I want to know the correct serial number, but I missed my ex adobe ID because I've changed my E-mail address.
It is not clear to me what your issue is with not being able to sign in to your Adobe account to find the serial number. You should still be able to sign in and find your serial number if you registered the software.
If your first PC is a Windows machine you might be able to extract the serial number from it using the Belarc Advisor

After reading your post, it sounds like you are experiencing an error when attempting to install apps. You may want to consider resetting your device. This article provides detailed instructions for Restarting, and Reseting:

How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
How to reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Tried loading the latest version of itunes but the download would not complete. Now when I connect my phone to a usb i get an error stating required files are missing, reinstall itunes. I tried that but the reinstall keeps timing out?

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for performance issues or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.

Hello, my name is brad and I recently had a voicemail app that I was using and now i got rid of it. But now my voicemail for the phone will not work. I tried to reset the network settings and nothing happened. I was wondering if you could help me out?
When you set up a voicemail redirection, usually you have to remove that redirection from the account that redirected it. Like Google Voice, if you activate Google Voice to receive your voicemail, you will have to log into voice.google.com to turn it off. If you contact your carrier, they can tell you exactly what program has taken over your voicemail functionality just in case you are stuck, but if you know the name of that App, I'm sure you will be able to figure it out. Hope this helps you out.

since updating my apps don't work anymore, the app store won't connect, I tried deleting apps and reinstalling, no go. The phone is just a phone now.
Try accessing the Store through the Music App first then use the other app.
