Can I just not have the worst possible experiance doing a simple arranty echange. That would be great. The support ticket error is: An error was encountered during knowledge base search. What the **bleep**, I am trying to add a ticket and coule care less about some knowledge base **bleep**.  The warranty said the warrant y was not good because it's oem. It's not I bought it from newegg with a 4 year warrantly less than two years ago.

Thanks for the call. I replied to your email with the image and it said I have a poor MTA and bounced it. Why would you use such a unreliable spam filter? Everyone knows MTA is BS. I send hundreds of emails and get them all day everyday and have never sent spam. Reverse dns and proper records are set! There is no reason for a poor anything, my email is clean as a whistle. So much trouble just send back a drive that died the first day I tried to use it. Please hire a better customer service manager so people can get decent help when your products fail. Fix your support desk to work, get rid of MTA filters on your email, it's not 1999. And let people do a warranty in your system without jumping through 500 hoops. Right now your support and customer service is horrible. I also have no way to contact you now other than posting on this forum. Awesome!

    I recently tried downloading the IOS8 to my iPod 5th generation and when it was almost done the computer said there was an error. Right after that, the iPod shut down completely and now it's on recovery mode. I plugged it in and it said that I had to restore it and update it so I could use it again but it doesn't let me.     - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable       
    - Try on another computer                                                       
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    Anyway...
    If 10.7.0 or later...
    Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partitirion & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk.

    From the App Store meny bar click Store > Check for Unfinished Downloads
    And check your Applications folder for the app.

    Error 11 is a strange one...if you search the discussions for error 11 you will get a number of hits but none with a real resolution other than getting the iPod to restore, which you have done.  And one person indicates this does not appear in the support data base...already found that out.
    If you have restored, have a backup and can restore from that, you might try the update again, or wait for the next update whenever that comes out. 
    Not a very satisfactory answer but if it is working again...

    I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store. 
    Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
    Find the items that are not downloading properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

    okay I'll tell you the whole story; okay, I had this "1" on my settings icon and in my updates, it said there was a new software, I read a bit about it, and it said I needed 50% and needed Internet connection, so I turned on our "wifi" box. it said I can install so I pressed it. and then the Apple logo came up in the middle of the black screen with a loading line below it. so I left it for about 1 hour or so, and came back and it was half way, so I left it again of the same amount of time, and when I came back it had the computer side of the white cord that you get with your IPod and an arrow pointing towards the ITunes Icon, so I guessed that I had to go to ITunes so I did, and it told me to restore my iPod, I didn't know what that meant so I clicked Restore and Update, and up the top of the screen it said it was "extracting" and then a alert came saying there was an error, so I I clicked "ok" and then my IPod went to a black screen and the Apple Logo appeared in the middle of the screen again, I left it for 1 hour and came back it hadn't changed, so I left it over night on charge and in the morning it hadn't hanged, so I took it off charged for the rest of the day, and it said it needed charge, so the black screen and the apple logo must have taken away charge, so as soon as I plugged it into the computer again, it went back to the black screen with the apple logo, so now it wont even let my reset my iPod, so now I have to see if it is fixable, if it is not I blame the instructions IOS resolving thingy, and get a new iPod or spend a lot of money fixing it, I would trade it, but I doubt my folks would let me, so thanks a lot, if you know any way of fixing my iPod please "please" PLEASE! help me, it would be greatly appreciated, if I don't get it working I may loose friends, because my iPod was for some of my best friends the only way I stay in contact with them.     If you're still in warranty, go back to Apple and show proof (print off that page confirming your warranty is intact the day you go).
    You may just need to perform a simple Restore in iTunes.

    Kept trying to start it, same result.  delited it and tried to download PS CC again, but now says my PS CC is up to date and will not redownload.  How do I get it back?

    This may be due to the deletion of the Ps CC app. As it was not uninstalled, so when you try to download, it shows you it is already downloaded.
    Run the Cleaner tool to remove Ps CC :http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html . Restart your system and then try installing Ps again.

    Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything...
    To minimise loss... Connect to iTunes on the computer you Usually Sync with and Restore from the most recent Backup...

    No need to  re purchase..
    How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
    Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
    Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
    Select Lion. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.
    Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
    Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
    BTW, you will receive email confirmations when someone responds to your question from Apple Support Communities.
