Tried to download new Mac version of Firefox since I got urgent message that my current version is outdated. After downloading new firefox I still get this message that it is outdated.
I also tried dragging this "icon" to my tool bar below or what Mac calls it. No luck. Still get message that I have an outdated version. What gives?

I have Photoshop CS5.1 (bought in 2011). The photoshop Camera Raw plug-in is not recognizing the format of my new Nikon D610. I updated the version of my Camera Raw plug in and am still getting this message when trying to open images in photoshop. Please help.

I've just downloaded Firefox 3.6 (Mac). When I attempt to open, this message pops up: "Close Firefox: A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time." I've removed older versions and restarted, but still get this message. What's going on?

When I start iTunes I get the following message. "A required iTunes component is not installed. Please repair or reinstall iTunes (-42404)". I have installed the latest version of iTunes but still get this message. Can anyone help?

iTunes has various components bundled with it that it requires for general usage. I advise that we completely remove iTunes and all of these related components, verify that they have been removed, then reinstall. To do so, please follow the steps in this article:

Note: it is important to remove the 7 components in order. Uninstalling these components in a different order, or only uninstalling some of these components may have unintended affects.
If the above does not resolve your issue, I recommend we reset the SC Info folder:

I have upgraded to 5.3 and I am still getting this message. I have logged into iCloud to see if there was a new Terms of Service agreement and didn't see anything. Any ideas?
Same here. The login works, but the Stream - according to the ATV - says there are "0" photos. Which is bogus.

My Itunes app on my Windows 7 pc will not open. It gives me a message saying my computer is missing 'javaScriptcore.dll'. I've downloaded Java to the computer and restarted it but I'm still getting this message. How do I fix this problem?
Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7,now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP,head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (If you've got XP, although the procedure is for Vista and 7, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)

When opening Bridge I get this message: Bridge encountered a problem and is unable to read the cash. Please try purging the central cache in the cache preferences to correct this problem. If you already have an @me.com address, perhaps as a result of having had a MobileMe account, and you are now setting up an iCloud account with an Apple ID you will find you will be asked to create a new @me.com address, and that you can't add your existing one because it is already an Apple ID.
You can do one of two things:
1. Sign out at System Preferences; sign in with your existing @me.com address and enable Mail.
2. Stay signed in with the present ID and add your @me.com address in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts & Calendars.

I had a new hard drive fitted to my imac and restored it from my time machine back up on an external hard drive when I try to open itunes I get this message "the itunes library extras.itdb file is locked, on a locked disk, or you do not have write permission for this file"
To solve this issue all I did was check to ensure that the file permissions were set as described by the earlier posts, followed by simply deleting the iTunes Library Genius.itdb file. Once the file was deleted I was able to open iTunes without difficulty. Note that I am running Windows 8. Hope this helps!

I clicked on upgrade to a new version and was taken to the Mozilla site, where I downloaded the latest version of Firefox... then, when I restarted my computer, Gmail still gives me the same message!! I have replaced my old iphone. I had an older backup on my pc where I keep my ipad backup as well. I have also updated and verified that the new ios is correct.
Came home and decided to backup the old phone to recover photos, music, apps, etc...
Connecting the old iphone,I get the backup corrupted message that everyone sees.
I go into the backup directory and delete both backups, restart the itunes, restart the PC, and then reconnect my iphone to the pc whihc restarts iTunes.
Tried to backup the old phone again and still the same message...
So, this is the new world where you cannot backup a "smart phone"....

I've personally never seen this message.
And what it means, quite simply, is that there is corrupted data in your iPhone, so it will not let it make a backup so that the corrupted data does not get saved and passed on.
All you can do here is manually transfer your photos, contacts, calendars to your computer. And then transfer your purchases. You will not be able to make a backup. -
I attempted to do the update on Firefox 3.6.9 and it said that it could not update because Firefox was still running even though it did not appear in the list of processes in the task manager. I decided to reinstall Firefox and the above message now is displayed each time I restart my computer and attempt to install Firefox 3.6.10.
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xuab2q88.default is the location of the cache folder for your default profile. If the updates folder isn't there then it looks that Firefox hasn't downloaded an update.
You can download the full version from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
Delete the Firefox program folder: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
That will remove all Firefox program files in case some are locked or protected by security software.<br />
That should allow you to install a full version of Firefox 3.6.10
Your Firefox profile data is stored elsewhere and won't be affected. -

The message says Ïf you are attempting to open a RAW file, make sure you have the latest update installed. I have completed all the latest updates today but still get this message.

1. Photoshop 14.2.1 is now two releases out of date. You might want to go to your Creative Cloud application and ask it to install Photoshop CC (2014). Earlier this year Adobe released 2014.0 as a separate install that can live side by side with 14.2.1. Then just a few days ago they released 2014.1 as an in-place upgrade to 2014.0.
2. You may be able to update Camera Raw directly to version 8.6 by a link from this page:
