Tried to upgrade my phone online using Loyalty Discount - Online sales Rep no help

I tried to upgrade my phone online to take advantage of the online discount and also use  a loyalty discount.  The price of the phone is correct until it I get to checkout, the loyalty discount is then removed and only the online discount is applied.  I IM the online sales rep, but the person was of no help, telling me that all discounts had been applied.  After about 15 to 20 minutes of trying to explain that the loyaly discount was being removed at checkout, I just gave up and cancelled the order.
I later tried it again, only to have the same problem and the same result from the online sales rep.
What good is a loyaly discount if you can't use it?
I am not sure if this is by design or if there is a glitch in the site, but the sales rep could not see my loyalty discount on my account and could not explain why this was happening.
Do I need to go to a store to take advantage of the loyalty discount?

It may depend on the type of store you go to.  Corporate stores are different from third-party retailers (who often carry cell products other than Verizon as well).  I would say call the specific store you plan to go to and ask before you go.

    Toggle iMessage Off then On
    Turning iMessage off then on again worked for my particular issue. You can do this by following these steps:
    From the Home screen, open “Settings“.
    Select “Messages“
    Slide “iMessages” to off for about 3 minutes, then turn it back on.
    Your iPhone will be re-registered and may clear up the duplicate text message notification problem.
    Repeat Alerts Setting
    There is a setting that repeats notifications which could cause this issue. Check it with these steps:
    From the Home screen, open “Settings“.
    Select “Notification Center“.
    Choose “Messages“.
    Ensure that the “Repeat Alerts” setting is set to “Once“.
    Send & Receive Setting
    Another setting that involves sending notifications to multiple numbers could be the issue as well. Check the following:
    From the Home screen, open “Settings“.
    Select “Messages“.
    Choose “Send & Receive“.
    Ensure that only your phone number is listed in the “You can be reached by iMessage at” area. If you have an email address or anything else listed, it could cause duplicate text messages.

    If you are near an Apple store, you can take the cable, charger and iPad in for testing.
    Or like Anti says, try a different cable.
    I'm not familiar with Cheeseball cable, though. I've used Apple and Griffin with good results.

    I am trying to upgrade a database running in SQL Azure from my local dev box which is running SQL Server 2008 R2 Sp1 (Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (SP1) - 10.50.2500.0 (X64))
    I extract the dac with no problems from my local database. However, when I try to upgrade the Azure db I get the below error.
    This error occurs just after I browse to select the dac package and click open in the browse window. I.e. It happens before I actually try and apply this dac to the Azure database. Something is going wrong, presumably, when the package is parsed by management
    studio.
    I am running Visual Studio 2010 Premium Sp1 if that matters, plus all the various updates required for Azure development..

    Coupons are generally related to the campaigns.
    If you are creating an order through the transaction crmd_order, you can mention the campaign document id, under the tab "Header Overview" in the field "Camp./TP".

  • Trying to upgrade phone. $60/month for 2GB?

    I've been trying to upgrade my phone as I'm eligible for a new device. I currently have the Digital Choice 100 for $24.99 and Unlimited Data for $29.99. While attempting to do so online, I'm given a notice that my plan is not compatible and that unlimited data is also not available. While I understand I'm grandfathered with the unlimited data, and I'll lose it if I upgrade, Verizon’s website shows a $40/month charge for a device and then asks me to select a data plan. Verizon’s website shows the 2GB data plan is $60.00 month. Without factoring taxes, that is $100/month. It shows my current bill at $57.98
    I talked to a few Verizon representatives. Some insisting the above is correct. One stated it's a website glitch for it to not allow me to have the 2GB data plan at $30.00 month. I cannot understand how my monthly bill will nearly double. I’d have to downgrade to the 2GB Data plan at an increased rate of $60/month while I get unlimited voice – which I don’t care about – for nearly double what I currently pay per month.
    When I checked with AT&T's site for comparison, it shows I could get 450 voice minutes for $39.99 and 3GB of data for $30.00. When I informed the Verizon agent about this to try and understand why Verizon is trying to bill me 2X for less data than AT&T, the Verizon agent was assertive that Verizon doesn't price match and that Verizon has the best network and the best phones. I reminded the Verizon agent that Verizon didn't get the HTC One X, arguably one of the best phones, and Verizon has yet to get the HTC One.
    I've attached a screen capture of what I see when trying to upgrade.
    Is this correct? For one device on my plan? 2GB is $60/month?

    Basically I'm in the same boat as you, and a verizon rep in chat told me that I could select a share everything plan to order the phone upgrade, and then when I activate it I could call verizon and have them put me back on the old plan (nationwide) where each smartphone has their own data plan.  I'm not sure I fully trust that advice so if you manage to do this please come back and post and let us know.

    I plugged in my iphone module 3GS 16 Gb. I was trying to upgrade the phone to 4.3.4 however it took all night to sync and backup and still didn't finish it. So I unplugged it...
    I have itunes installed on 32 bit Vista.

    Well, unplugging it was a big mistake. Was the backup taking a long time, or the update? Backups CAN take a long time if you don't do it frequently. Do the following:
    Update to the latest version of iTunes if it isn't already (see the Help menu).
    Reboot your computer.
    Disable your antivirus and firewall.
    Launch iTunes.
    Connect to a USB port directly on the computer, not a hub, and a rear port if there are both front and rear ports.
    With the phone disconnected hold HOME and SLEEP until an Apple logo appears, then release SLEEP but continue holding HOME while you connect the phone, and continue holding HOME until iTunes recognizes the phone, then release it and iTunes should update it.

    JMF studio as i read in a forum. Did anyone try to do this. I tried to compile the example chords but doesn't identify the javax.telephony package.
    Where should i put the .class files?
    How should i configure J323 engine.By the way i am using windows.

    I don't know if that is possible, because the application may have to be closed if the system does not have enough capabilities and resources, so it depends on the phone. Read the API docs for the platformRequest method for more info about this.
    I would give it a try though and see what happens.
