Tried to upgrade to osx 10.9 from 10.7 and I didn't notice that it downloads in the launcher. I turned my mac off and ever since then it has glitched out and will not download no matter what I do. I have had it for 3 years which is out of warranty.

I have had it for 3 years which is out of warranty. It now has a blank bar under the launch pad and no matter how many times I try re-downloading it or restarting my computer it does not work. I use too play starcraft and other games on this computer although new patched/updates have made it that I can no longer do that now. Really frustrating having to deal with this especially after buying this computer upfront and now out of warranty.
Go to your Applications folder and find a file called "Install OS X Mavericks". Send it to the trash and delete it. Then try the download again.

After a year of owning my iPod touch 4g it suddenly stopped charging on my computer and outlet addapter. It still shows the two pronged plug icon that recognizes the iPod is connected to something but even as the battery level goes below twenty percent it will not charge. Still functions well and even connects to iTunes.

just got an Ipad and am working on setting it up. the one issue I am having with it is my screen will not rotate no matter what I do to the settings, I can't figure out if I have a setting wrong or if there really is something wrong with my Ipad. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Double click the home button (square) and all the things you did are there.keep sliding the bar that will come up on the bottom to the left till it cant go anymore there should be a icon looking like this.press that and it should work

My ipod touch will not hare no matter what and I've tried many different cables and different ways to charge it. What should I do? If I complain to the Apple store co. will they replace my ipod for free?

The update to iOS 7 is frozen at the Terms and Conditions page and will not move, no matter what I click on. I cannot access my iPad as it is frozen on this screen. How do I remedy this nightmare?
Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Then try updating the software again.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
No data is lost due to a reset.

I have a macbook pro 10.8.5 and the Application Safari will not open no matter what i do, I try to open the menu of Safari but it won't let me either, the mouse will just be loading. Each time i open it, it says "Application Not Responding" and I try opening it in my Finder and it'll say "The Application 'Safari' cannot be opened." and below that it'll say "-1712" Please help? have an apple TV 1st generation - it froze downloading a trailer and had to be unplugged. Since then I cannot access the apple tv menu. When I run diagnostics it says it is operating properly but will not factory restore. What can I try?
Apologies, I was looking at the wrong schematic for the Apple TV 1. There isn't a button. So lets try this instead...
Remove the power cord and wait 20 seconds.
Plug it back in and let it boot (Give it 10 minutes, it's being tempremental)
Try and navigate to the the advanced menu and do a factory restore
If that doesn't work then if you are using the white remote hold down the menu button for six seconds and release this should bring up a hidden menu which will allow you to access the advanced configuration settings.
Again, if this fails there isn't much to do than tap it with a hammer to see if that fixes it (hard to believe how many times that actually works. (No responsibility taken if it breaks!, but at least you'd have a good reason to buy Apple TV 3) -
i have had itunes for years when i try to open it, it says i have missing files so i repaired it, then it said the same thing. so i went to download it again to fix the problem and it wants me to pay for a membership. is itunes no longer free?
iTunes is free... there is no membership fee.
Try providing some specifics about what is going on and others might be able to provide a resolution. -
I recently uploaded OSX 10.6.7 and ever since then, my Boris titler in FCP does not work with all the fonts, notably Avenir. It actually crashes FCP now. It was fine with the previous version. What's up Apple?
I know what your'e going through, Gary. OSX 10.6.7 is an absolute disaster. Since I upgraded, I've had problems in FCP, Logic, Garageband, even issue dealing with peripheral hardware like external monitors.
Before 10.6.7 my system was running fine.
I've brought this up with Apple repeatedly. They smile and shrug. They've been helpful resolving the issues, but none of them has been easy to solve. I have spent days, dealing back and forth with tech support, sending logs, etc., before solutions have been found.
I wish I could give you an answer to your question. My only guess is that Apple has totally dropped the ball on this one. In the future they should provide a disclaimer when they offer an upgrade. Something like: "Caution: all of your software may not function after this upgrade. But go ahead, you'll feel cool that your OS is the latest thing."
As someone who has been with Apple for close to 25 years, I'm disturbed by what appears to be an increasing sloppiness in their work. This is especially disturbing when you depend upon their system to make your living.

I've been using my email to my IPad for months since I've bought it the I got a notice, In order to use Yahoo Mail, please turn Private Browsing off. Please go to Settings » Safari » Private Browsing, and turn it off....why now after all these months is someone trying to hack in?
You turn private browsing off on the Safari page. Tap the + sign in the upper right corner, then tap private in the lower left corner. You know you're in private when the top of the screen is dark.

What did you trash? The iPhoto application, the iPhoto Library or just the photos in your iPhoto Library?
Also what version of iPhoto are you using?

I am trying to create an icloud account and have used itunes for years . Therefore have been using my apple id to sign in. Unfortunatly it keeps coming back saying this is my apple id but not my icloud id is this different?

First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. Ipad has wifi connection but will not download
Hi, I'm having an issue with my Ipad 2 iOS 7.1.2, it only started happening last night. IPad can see and is joined to wifi but will not download or send anything. Always times out after spinning wheel.
Have tried connecting to and joined, various wifi routers in other houses. So know it's not the router. Still no Download or send.
Have done a hard reset.
Have reset the network settings.
Any other suggestions. I'm at a bit of a loss.

It sounds like you are unable to access the internet on your iPad, but you are indeed connected to a Wi-Fi network. I would use the troubleshooting from the following article to help you get that resolved:
