I get in now with the following procedures taken:
1. Reset network as suggested in Apple app.
2. In the wifi connection, instead click in the user name as shown in the screen, I click Others and re-type the user name as appeared before. In the security, instead of none, I click WEP. It will then prompt you to put in password. I then put in password as I know for that user name again.
Then, it joined the wifi..
Hope this can help someone who get this problem.

FIRST, call your carrier and ask if they have a local network outage. Also try moving a few miles from your current location to see if you have coverage elsewhere. Next, contact your carrier and get a replacement SIM. If that doesn't fix it take it to an Apple store for evaluation. If it is defective they will replace it.

My ipad mini 3 is not showing that it is connected to the wifi, but it is saying it is not connected to the internet. I have reset network settings and then reset all settings and it has not worked. I have tried to change it to static and change the IP address and the subnet mask and that is not working either. I have also tried to use the wifi in different places and that doesn't work either. Please help!!!! iPad is useless without the internet.
1. Set router back to Auto DHCP.
2. Turn off router for 30 seconds and on again.
3. Re-boot iPad. -

You may not really be connected to your WiFi network.
Your router may not have given your iPod a valid local network IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPod (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.

Despite the connection indication you may not really be connected to your WiFi network.

I have 2 Airport Base stations that I am trying to use to extend my WiFi but I cant get them to work. I downloade Airport Utility to windows 7 and it doesnt recognize any devices. I have them plugged in and they have a solid yellow light. Does anyone know what I need to do to get them to work. Your help would be appreciated.

I would recommend that you start by performing a "factory default" reset on all of your AirPort base stations. Once completed power them all down. While powered-down, temporarily connect both Express base stations to an open LAN port on the Extreme using separate Ethernet cables.
Once connected, power up the Extreme; wait five minutes, and then, power up each of the Express base stations. Which you power-up first doesn't matter.
Now start up the AirPort Utility on the PC. It should now "see" all three base stations. If so, go ahead and configure your extended network.

I've just updated from logic 7 to Logic 8.
I'm currently working on a remix for a record label, I'm experiencing problems on playback in Logic 8 - basically it wont playback and cites this warning:
**"Logic pro has detected a possible conflict between one or more third party MIDI audio drivers.**
*Be sure to install the latest drivers for all audio and MIDI equipment connected to your computer, and remove any older or unused drivers."*
I don't have a Roland MC505 in my studio, I'm running a MOTU 828mk2 and
I have the most updated driver for my sound card installed.
In Logic 7 I get the message below but playback isn't effected and I can access the entire project.
*Instrument “Roland MC505” sends to a MIDI port named “EDIROL UM-2” of musical interface “EDIROL UM-2” which no longer exists.*
*Please check if all MIDI interfaces are connected and switched on; otherwise adjust the instrument’s MIDI out port setting.*
If anyone can help I'd me most grateful..My first thought, is for you to check your environment.
If the song you're working on started out originally from someone else's Logic session, Their may be a Roland MC505 instrument in the MIDI layer of your environment.
Hit Apple/8, and select MIDI from the tab in the upper right. Select and delete anything in there that doesn't apply to your set-up directly.
See if that's what's going on... -
i cant download apps throgh wifi on my iphone however when i connect to cellular data it starts downloading. then what is wrong over wifi , i tried reset network setting but i didnt help
Definitely sounds like an issue with your Wi-Fi network. Do any other devices on the network have similar issues? Is it an issue only with downloading apps? You can check by trying to load a website in Safari.
I would try turning your Wi-Fi router off for 1 minute, and back on again.
After doing that, disconnect and re-join the Wi-Fi network on your iPhone and try downloading an app again. -

Probably because there is no internet connection on the Wifi, because it will default to 3G if it can't get a connection.

I have an iPhone 4 and am in Nepal. My phone was previously able to connect to wifi, but now is unable. I have an iPad and that is able to connect just fine. This problem is with every wifi hotspot I have tried so it is the phone not the modem.
Try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

At the very least, I recommend you restart your router, (your internet box).
More detail on your problem is needed - are you in a submarine? On the moon? On a tropical island?
You can help yourself by providing as much info as you can about your present situation - what kind of router do you have? Have you moved it? DId you update it? Did you do anything to change your setup, and if you did, what? -
