Tried uninstalling but it wont fully uninstall yet i cant use it, but it opens PDF files instead of PDF looking regular

I had the trial version and went to uninstall it off of my computer once i decided i wouodnt be using it,
It says thats its still installed on my computer and then when i go to hit uninstall again it wont do it. It runs an error.
I notice that when I try to save thngs as PDF that is the default program that it goes to but then there is no way for my to be able to open it since the program isnt really installed on my computer.
I also tried running the cleaner tool to no avail.
How do I get it competely off my computer?

There are a few things to try.
First, if this file came to you vial email attachment, it could have been corrupted. Ask her to zip the file and send it again. That sometimes helps.
I suppose there's a chance that the file is already zipped, so see if that's the case and unzip it if so.
If the file name doesn't end with .indd, add it and see if that helps.
If you are double-clicking, try File>Open from within InDesign.
Last (and I know this sounds like a joke, but I've seen it many times), sometimes people attach a Mac Alias or Windows Shortcut instead of the actual file. What is the file size? If it's really small, that might be the reason.
Also, no offense intended if some of this sounds like stuff you have already tried. I don't know what you know, so I'm just spit-balling.

Some clients Can't open XLSX files in Libraries using template.dotx but can open xlsx files in libraries using template.doc

If I create a new library using any Excel/Word template - DOC, DOTX, XLS, XLTX and then upload a XLSX document (or docx) then some of my clients experience issues opening the document. My work around in the past has been to resave the document
as XLS or DOC. Interestingly Old Libraries (Libraries using template.doc) don't have a problem with xlsx or docx documents. (This only works because most of the clients experiencing the problem only open a few documents and we only have to
resave a few documents. I don't know why these clients have this problem though.)
We are now testing a new Terminal Server implementation. One with OpenOffice instead of Microsoft Office. We can't open xlsx files on new libraries but can on old libraries. (docx files are not a problem though) I found a couple of
work arounds.  One work around is to click on the down arrow by the document name and select "Edit in Excel" which fails, but then clicking on the document name after will then prompt you to Open/save the document. Clicking on Open
successfully opens the document in OpenOffice. (So rather tedious for the users but nothing has to be changed to make it work.)
The other option is to create a template from one of the libraries that is working and then use it to create a new library and save my documents to the new library. Then I'm prompted to Open/Save the xlsx documents in the library.  This
option is less tedious for the user but then I have to go through and recreate any libraries using template.dotx. Creating a new library using the standard Document Library option and selecting Word or Excel 2003 does not resolve the issue - it has to
be created from a template created from an existing library that works in the Terminal Server implementation.
My boss is opting for the latter option unless I can come of with an alternative that doesn't mean additional steps for the users. Training is an issue because most of the Terminal Server users are shop floor workers.
My question is, is there a patch or fix that addresses this issue or any other work arounds that would be less work?
Additional Info: Our Sharepoint implementation is the Enterprise version is installed but we do not have the Excel related Features activated (and these can't be activated due to licensing). I'm not sure if that matters or not but it is
a different configuration from how most SharePoint installations are configured. SP1 is installed. I have not installed any recent CU's. Versions I see in Patch Status screen include 14.0.6029.1 (primarily) with some additional features
reporting 14.0.6105.5, 14.0.6107.5, 14.0.6112.5 and 14.0.6114.5.

We have tried a couple of additional things.
We uninstalled OpenOffice and are testing LibreOffice. I also installed CMIS from the SharePoint Administrator's toolkit, added the solution, and deployed it to my sites. The "Producer" feature is activated on the site I am testing with.
I created a new library and posted some docx, doc, and xlsx files to it. All files can be opened as Read-only from the Library list. The only way I have found that I can edit the files is to Open the Library with Explorer.   I then deactivated
the producer feature and tested opening the SharePoint documents from Explorer and it worked the same.
So am I misunderstanding what the CMIS Producer feature is for?

Logged into Creative Cloud. But when opening PDF document, asked to log in to Acrobat.

This has been happening for over a week now.
I'm logged in to my Creative Cloud. One of the apps is Acrobat XI pro. It's fully up-to-date.
I now try to open a PDF document, but instead I get a pop-up telling my something about continuing my "trial" version.
I humour it and proceed and sign in with my Adobe ID and password.
Meanwhile Creative Cloud has logged out.
However, I can now open the PDF file.
After while, the same thing happens again.
Very, very time-wasting.

Acrobat 5 shows 'damaged' but Reader opens the file

I have searched the forums for this, but not been able find someone describing the same problem.
I am using Acrobat 5.0.5. I frequently get the message 'There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired' when opening pdfs from various sources. When opening the same pdfs with Acrobat Reader 7.0, everything seems fine.
I've had this problem for quite some time, but it seems to be accelerating. Is Acrobat 5.0 not compatible with newer pdfs, or could it be pdfs made with 3rd party software? Do I have to upgrade my Acrobat version?

I've been having this problem and don't know how to fix it. I can open some but not all downloaded pdf files in Acrobat 5.
My Version 9 of Reader opens all, so it's obvious that the files reported as corrupted are not really corrupted.
I don't think that I had this problem before I installed Reader.

My lock screen wont light up. I put it on the charger and it still makes the tone to let me know that its charging. I also got my dad to call it from his phone, it rang but my lock screen wont light up. I cant use my lock screen button because it broken.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
If that doesn't work Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

Downloaded adobe reader from adobe but cannot open pdf on uni website

Accepting the EULA is not done during the installation, but when Adobe Reader is launched for the first time. That's what you need to do (not the browser plugin, but the actual Reader program).

InCopy Users can't open ICML files, but can open INCX files

We've just switched over to CS4 -- both for designers and editors. If the editors/writers create a file and save it as an ICML, I can open and edit it no problem. However, when I export something in ICML, they cannot access it. The writers/editors are all on PCs (running XP Professional 5.1 - service pack 3). I am also on the same type of system, but this is also happening to another designer here who is on an iMac (probably OSX).
Does anyone know if this is a known problem with an easy fix, such as a patch, plug-in, upgrade, etc.? Our tech support guys are not very good with Adobe products, especially InCopy.
I've tried to search for a previous thread about this on this forum, with no luck (maybe I'm not using the right terms), and also on Google.
At the very least, if anyone knows a way to switch the export file type default so it just does CS3 Exchange (incx) instead of the ICML files, that would also really help.

They shouldn't be opening the ICML files. They should be opening an InDesign file or an InCopy assignment file.
That said, what do you mean when you say they can't access it. That's not nearly enough to go on.
What happens when they try? Could it be a permissions issue on the server?
BTW, CS4 is now at 6.0.4 for both InDesign and InCopy.

Flash Player X installed but not working (6MB file instead of 15MB)

I installed version 11 Active X 11.5.502.135 BUT it is only 6MB file and should be 15MB so it does not play videos. It did not hang up during installation (download timeout) but went right ahead and installed but it cannot be the full deal. I have unistalled older versions and started fresh but no go. Can anyone help please?

is 6MB but in the Adobe site
download button it says the file size is 15MB.

Are you saying you converted from NEF to DNG? If so, after you convert your raw files to the Adobe universal Raw format, the files will open in all versions of PSE (keep your originals as backups and for use in the camera manufactures software)
