It could just be the power. Apple says you should completely drain the battery and completely recharge it at least once a month. When completely drained, as they say, it takes a bit after being plugged in again for the iPhone to start responding again.

My computer crashed and wont turn back on! need help

so i was just playing a game i downloaded off the internet and syncing my ipod when my computer froze. Then, the screen turned gray and it said i had to restart my computer. so i held down the power button and it shut off. Well, now it wont turn on. i dont know whats wrong, but its been 24 hours and still wont turn on. I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer.

Ee harrier mini crashed and wont turn back on

I was just using my phone and it rebooted, or so i thought. Since then it wont come back on, it comes up with powered by Android then ee sign comes on then nothing, just keeps repeating the same thing. Have tried soft reboot but still nothing and doing the same thing. Anyone got any ideas???

Thanks for the suggestion. Battry was about 40% have tried it but still doing it while on charge. Its not registering its charging either as usually a little red light at the top

topic says it all fellow iphone users. My phone is 3gs 16gb 4.1 iOS firmware. If any solutions are given on how to somehow boot my phone back on other than the obvious home and lock for 10 seconds would be greatly appreciated.

If it doesn't turn on then a reboot is required. If this happens consistently there's something corrupted in the phone's firmware. If it is not jailbroken just update it to the latest version. If it is then your problem is beyond the scope of this forum.

IPod crashes and wont turn on

Hello all, I got mine about 1 week ago. This already happened three times already since I purchased the 8gb touch. The most recent one was when I was on the subway, I double clicked home for music control while on hold, the screen went dark and the song started stuttering, so I reseted it by holding down home and hold button. When it restarted (and this is where the problem is) the screen does not have back lighting as it shows the apple icon and then connect to itunes icon. When I connect it to itunes it says its in restore mode and when I try to restore it it gives me the 1604 error saying it can't be restored. Now the 2 times before I turned it on after a while (around 1 hour) and it worked again..but this time no luck at all. What is my error (if there is any unless other people has this problem as well)?

i have never heard of this happening....have u tried apple care.....is there an apple store close by that u can take it.....or can u send in ur current touch and get another one????

Well, since you tried to turn it on while wet the chances of recovering anything have just been reduced. But try putting it in a plastic bag with uncooked rice for several days to draw the moisture out of it. You may then be able to restore it or turn it on. If you've been syncing regularly, backing up to your computer or iCloud, or have enabled Photo Stream your pictures are safe. If you have done none of these things they are lost unless the phone recovers after drying out.

my battery started draining really fast so i drained it all the way. now the phone won't charge just flashes the logo, it won't take the new software in recovery. the itunes logo goes away part way through the process and flashes the apple logo again any ideas? ive held the buttons in a bunch of combos too...

Possible causes:
1. Your antivirus is blocking access to gs.apple.com.
2. Your phone is jailbroken.
3. Your computer has been used at some time in the past to jaibreak some iOS device (not necessarily the phone with the problem), and its network database was corrupted by the hacking software that was used.
4. Apple's activation servers are down (very rare, and never for more than an hour or so).
5. You installed a beta version of iOS 7 and you are not a developer with the tools to manage it. If this is the case you are pretty much out of luck, and next time don't install software illegally.
For 1. try disabling your antivirus.
For 2. & 3. you need to go somewhere other than an apple forum for help. Although you can try deleting lines containing gs.apple.com from your "hosts" file on your computer.
