Trigger a Output as Spool on Delivery Deletion via Vl02n
Dear All,
My requirement is that when I delete a delivery in VL02n , a spool should be generated . I have a SAP SCRIPT which can be triggered via a Z output type .
How do we link to trigger this output type on delivery deletion?

Hi Disha,
If you want to create a spool for one delivery, you can do it manually.
But if you want to convert every output trigger into spool, you have to use the function module to convert the script data into spool.
You can use the FM CONVERT_OTF to convert the OTF format into spool.
Once this is done the otuput will be saved in spool with a spool number
You can convert this spool into PDF using the program RSTXPDFT4 and save it in a place in a directory.

I am creating deliveries for reservations using FM GN_Delivery_create.
It creates delivery documents properly but the output is not triggered automatically.
Here when a delivery is created manually a idco output is getting triggered..
Similarly when we open the delivery created by FM GN_Delivery_create is open in change mode & then SAVE , the idoc is getting triggered as expected
Pls suggest how can we achieve triggering this output from the custom program.
Thanks.You can create a program that uses function RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE to insert output type that triggers on the delivery.
To know how to fill the interface of the above function use RV_MESSAGES_READ to read the NAST entry details from existing output. Fill the values in RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE similarly as the output of RV_MESSAGES_READ
Once done, you can process all these deliveries using RSNAST00 to mass trigger the output
Alternatively, you can create a LSMW or a simple BDC just to open and save a delivery so that the output triggers. Run the BDC / LSMW for all of the deliveries that you need to process. Then you can process all these deliveries using RSNAST00 as above -
How to trigger EDI output type by logical system
Hi,
I am trying to propose a delivery output on delivery document based on logical system.
I have maintained partner profile by logical system. In the partner profile, i have given the delivery output type and the process code.
I have also maintained condition records for the delivery output.
I would like the system to propose the delivery output not by ship to party or sold to party but by the logical system.
Because i do not want to maintain 3000 customers in the partner profiles, instead trigger the output by logical system.
Please let me know, if anyone has gone thru this situation and resolved.

First thing you should make sure that, when you create the output type , partner function should have an entry for EDI - LS combination.
Secondly , make sure you have option for EDI transmission on the output type (medium 6).
Third, when you create partner profile for LS, make sure you give partner function as LS, even though SAP gives warning that its not required.
Last but not least, i didnt create any distribution model , because when i created distribution model and generate partner profile, system was not generating the profile properly.
I am not sure, whatever i did was right, but its working for me.

Adding an item to Po doesn't trigger any output
Hi gurus,
I need some help from you as we have an issue on changes on PO don't trigger any output.
I explain the process :
- user creates an SHC and then a PO is generated in approval status.
- PO is released and then a mail is sent to vendor (there is an entry in tx SPPFP). That works fine.
- a new item is added to PO and delivery date is changed. So it must be approved again by someone.
- PO is released but no mail is sent to vendor. No entry in transaction SPPFP.
I read a lot of messages on this forum about problems on triggering purchase orders. As I've seen, the usual problem is to avoid outputs when po is changed. My issue is the opposite.
I checked table BBPD_PO_METAOUT and there is an entry for BBP_PDIGP-DELIVED_DATE is output relevant.
We have condition-dependent document output customizing:
- Automatically scheduled
- Max. 1 Action for Each Action Definition
- Time of processing : when saving document
This is a ECS scenario, SRM server 550, support package SAPKIBKT08.
How can I fix this problem? I guest standard behaviour must be to trigger output when changing purchase order.

Please check the follow
1)Please follow the instruction in the attached note 564826.
2)ANY change in the PO after it has been sent to vendor will generate
an automatic output.
You might want to either:
- Change your customizing settings so the PO output is not automatically
sent to vendor.
- Or apply the following note so the system does not generarte an output
when a PO is changed:
820344 Preventing output of changes to purchase orders

Hi guys,
Would you know where could I find the output type of a delivery document espcially after I posted a GI in Shipment? Basically, It should reflect in devlivery document. So I am not sure if I should look at the delivery tables or goods issue.

There are 2things to be noted here.
1. If your output type was already triggered once, then it should be visible in display mode also, with a Green colour button (if it is processed and the print out is obtained). The fact that the output type is not seen in display mode, says that the output type so far has nto been triggered.
2. Seeing the output type coming in yellow colour in change mode of delivery document is expected. This means that the output is getting triggered now.If you save teh document now, you will get the print out.When you go in display mode again after a gap of say 1min, you can see the same output in Green colour as mentioned earlier.
I hope this clarifies your doubt.Please let me know if you need some more info

We have created a button in the va02 transaction. If user click on the button the new screen will be display on that screen we are populating the alv grid output using the oops concept. But i am unable to send the output to spool using the print button in the standard tool bar.
I am able to display the Print parameter dialog box but i am not able to send it to spool.

ok now for output ypu need to go to T.code: NACE, Take V2 -shipping and click on output types tab at the top most u will get a output type standard "MAIL"
For the MAIL output type u assign a access sequence of your own.
Maintain condition records in VV2.
Select the output type in delivery
GO to Vl02n enter the delivery no: take extras from the menu and take delivery output header /item enter the output type MAIL. -

hi,
i am having a issue when running ALV output to background. If user gives his email address i am able to send output as attachment to email.but incase he doesnt give then i have to send it to SPOOL.
I am able to send the output to spool but when i execute the report in background i get a POPUP where i have to input device and then a other dialog box which gives formatting information I.E. X_65_132' and when i click OK then spool is getting generated.
i tried ways to suppress this popup but couldnt find the way..can anyone suggest me a way to suppress this popup?
i used get_print_parameters function module but the program doesn't go till that place and immediately before executing start-of-selection i am getting this popup.

SaravanaThe easiest way of printing a list while creating it, is for the user to choose Execute + print on the report's selection screen. The user can choose between displaying the list on the screen (choosing Execute) or printing it directly without displaying it (choosing Execute + print).

how about an own output program? That can be triggered on header level, but can create outputs on item level.
Otherwise: looks difficult to get line level trigger, if SAP hasn't it up to now.
