Hello,
when there is no material in the store if the order is showing the availablity,then check the Availability Check for Material, PRTs, and Capacities node in IMG.
In order there are two material availability check,one is over all material availability check,which will shows shortage only before release or during release once the order is relased it always shows that the material is available.
other material availability check is individual line item check,when you check with this it will take to the ATP quantities of the material where it will shows the availability same as the MMBE,including the Reservation,PR & PO quantity.
So better check this.

How to trigger workflow for already created purchase order ?

let me clear my scenario first . i have 1 purchase order whose workflow is not triggered . means it is showing me message no workflow that have already worked for this object.i have created 1 more purchase order taking reference of this purchase order means both are same same message for this po also. it was happening because event linkage for the business object bus2012 is not activated but now it is enabled and i have created third purchase order with reference to above po means this third po is also same as above 2 no change other than po number but for this workdflow is getting triggered . now i want to trigger workflow for orignal first po but for my first po it is showing me same message that no workflow that have already worked for this object. what i have to do to trigger workflow for this po. i have performed this steps in test system. i have workflow number

      You can trigger the workflow from SWUE.Enter bus2012 and created for object type and event respectively.
      Click object key button where enter the purchase order number which have been already created.
      But, why do you want to trigger the workflow again for already created purchase order ?

Movement Types for Material Reservations

Dear All
I have defined New package for defining new movements types for material reservation in PM order. this activity is carried out at following path.
SPRO> Plant Maintenance and Customer Service>Maintenance and Service Processing--> Maintenance and Service Orders >General Data>Define Movement Types for Material Reservations.
This has been carried out as i want to take the material in using 904 movement as reversal of 261.
Can any body tell me where can I assign tghis package to Order/order types?

In the standard system, movement types are preset which you must not change.
For the components, Plant Maintenance and Customer Service, the entry with the key 'IWO1' is relevant. In addition, you only need the two entries for the goods issue (GI) of materials for maintenance orders and the accompanying reverse operation (GI cancellation).
as of my knowledge we don't have the option to go with ordertype wise settings

Workflow for Material Create

Dear All,
I am new to SAP workflow n i have a requirement to create a workflow for Material Create .
I have created workflow for Notification of Absence from SAP help as a practice.
But not able to do it for material create because i dont know the methods n all for that.
Please guide me in this .
If anybody have any documentation for workflow for material master, it will be a big help for me.

Material reservation deleted into maintenance order

Dear,
I'm facing with strange issue with some maintenance order... The users have created some maintenance order, done material reservation and released these order... After that they are trying change these materials reservation and then when they go until the reservation they can see the material with status "item is deleted".
However no changes was done these reservation. The components items is maintaned with gray scale.

Are you using any developments that might delete these components?
Also, can you send a screen-shot of the following:
Components tab with deletion indicator shown
Order header - so we can see the statuses
Double-click into one of the material items to view the General Data sub-tab

Workflow event for material reservation(mb21),QA02 transaction

Hi,
I created material reservation(mb21), but no event was triggered for the transaction.
I checked for event in swel.(event trace is on).
please let me know how to handle this.
please also let me know the event of qa32.

Here you go:
MB21 ==>
1. Create a subtype of BUS2093. (Through SWO1 T.code)
2. Create an event "Created". (Through SWU_EWCD T.code)
QA32 is a report for Inspection Lot. Hence I infer you probably want creation event for a inspection lot.
QA01 ==> Inspection lot
BUS2045 --> Inspection lot
Follow same steps of 1 & 2 above for the "Created" Event

Workflow for material changed

Hi Gurus,
I would like to implement a workflow with a mail which wil be triggered whenever a material is changed.
I have created a workflow using SWDD..How can I link this workflow to Material change transaction(MM02)..
I am new to this workflow...Pls help me...

Hi,
you need to create an event for your change document BOR 1001006 thru SWEC.
create a similar event in your BOR Event and use this event in the Basic Data of your WF.
So whenever a material is changed your event would trigger your WF.
Hope I am clear,

Release Strategy/Workflow for MB21 Reservation

Hello Gurus,
I know as per Standard SAP it is not possible to have a release strategy/workflow for MB21, but if any of you have come across this requirement where material reservation should be approved by related dept heads before the material is issued for those reservations, please reply back with the possible options to configure release strategy or work flow for MB21 even thru development or any other work around.
Your expertise advises will be very helpful for me to work around this requiremnt.

Reservations in SAP is just a logical value, which does not have any impact on any stock type. It would be interesting to know why the business needs approval process for reservations.
Anyways even if you need approval process, what you have to do is develop a custom object, where in when ever the business creates a MB21 reservation, assign a unique number to each reservation number.
As a dept head, the business will run the ZMB21, checks the reservation to which he needs to approve. In the back groud call up the unqiue id assigned and place approve button where in dept head can approve the same.
The authorization to this custom tcode should be given as per your requirement.

How to generate Outbound idoc for Material Reservation

Hi Experts,
I want to send outbound IDoc when a material reservation is created with tcode MB21.
I have been working on this issue and finding the solution in SCN for a week...
I found some messages similar to this but I could not find out the correct way how to do that.
At this moment, I configured BD64/WE20 referring the following topic which seems to be feasible solution but could not find any outbound IDocs created, unfortunately.
Implement ALE_RESERVATION_CREATE
I appreciate if someone can help me how to create outbound IDoc with MB21 or advice some possibility of missing configuration or steps.

Datasource for material reservation data from SAP R/3 (RESB & RKPF table)

Hi,
How can i take material reservation data stored in SAP R/3 RESB and RKPF table. I can create generic data source and full upload of data is possible but how to manage daily delta. None of these table having change date to extract daily changed record to BI. Please suggest.
Please inform if any business content data source available for Reservation data?

Hi,
Many times we face such situation, that we need to create a generic data source and there is no field to define delta.
In such situations you can go for psuedo delta.
Ask the client that at any point of time till which date will the data be changed.
Eg. the client may say that at max we will change last three months data.
In that case everytime you can do a full update and load only data of last three months.
Instead of date you can consider any field as per your requirement.

Trigger workflow for MIRO invoice creation

Hello,
In standard functionning it is not possible to trigger the workflow for documents coming from MM.
When using transaction MIRO and selecting invoice creation the created document has following value :
BKPF-AWTYP = 'RMRP'. whereas creating it from FB60 results to BKPF-AWTYP = 'BKPF'.
The problem is standard code checks AWTYP is not equal to 'RMRP' before creating event to start the standard workflow for invoice validation.
Question : why sap doesn't allow workflow creation for invoices from MIRO?

All of these workflows are a one-step / one-level of approval and needs some workflow configuration at least for the agent assignments. For a full-blown workflow you should take these workflows as an example, how you could work with it.
The last two workflows work with preliminary posting on the miro (transaction MIR7).

IDoc for Material Reservations

Hi all,
I need to send out an IDoc (outbound) when a new material reservation is created using tcode MB21.
-> Which IDoc message type can I use for this scenario?
-> Does it also work in combination with an ALE distribution model?

Trigger workflow for all tcodes with set transaction GS01

There are nearly 7 tcodes in FI maintained in the set tranasction using GS01 and we desire to trigger worklfow for all those tcodes, even if another one is added in future. What is the process to go about?

Thanks for the concern.
The tcodes are SAP standard tcodes like fb50 and others for document park and post. Now the requirement is that, the set of tcodes maintained in set transaction GS01, say 7 SAP standard tcodes maintained, the workflow should trigger whenever someone parks or posts a document, which must be subsequently approved by a set of approvers and then the actual release and posting(or re-posting) takes place.
How can i achieve this using workflow, precisely to trigger worklfow for al those tcodes, now at a later date the tcodes can be either reduced or added to the set.

How to find the validity date for material reservation

Dear All,
User created the reservation using transaction code MB21 on 2nd December 2008 and 16th Dec 2008, when he is transfering materials he is getting the error message "Document does not contain any selected items" when I check the reservation
Goods movement for reservation allowed --> checked
Final issue for this reservation -- compleated (checked)
Item is deleted -- Checked
Base Date is --> 02-12-2008 check againest factory calender
in OMBN Transaction configration setting are as below
Goods movement for reservation allowed --> checked
No. of days, if 'movement allowed' is set automatically --> 10
Retention period, in days, for reservation items --> 30
Please check and do the needful.

Hi,
You are getting the message "Document does not contain any selected items" because, in this Reservation, there are no items available to move from the storage locations. This has happened because of the following 2 indicators:
1.Final issue for this reservation -- compleated (checked)
This Indicates that a reservation item is completed. Further goods movements in respect of this reservation item are not anticipated, although they are still possible.
The indicator is set automatically for a goods movement when the total reserved quantity has been withdrawn or delivered. In the case of a partial delivery, you can manually set the indicator if no further goods movements are expected in respect of the relevant reservation item.
2.Item is deleted -- Checked
Specifies that the item has already been deleted and you do not expect any further movements in
respect of this item.
Please check if anybody, by mistake has flagged these indicators.
