Triggering Cycle count

Dear Experts,
Are there options in Standard SAP to trigger automatic cycle count/ physical inventory records when i do picking with differences or put away with differences?
This way say after the worker who picked with differences will move on and do his job, because the system has an inventory record document created, an inventory person can follow up on the document & and go to the location to check the situation of the bin.

  • Cycle Count Reservation Issue in Item Supply/Demand Form

    Hi
Few of the inventory items are stuck with Cycle Count Reservation in Item Supply/Demand Form. The Identifier field is empty. It is not tied to any sales order or PO . I checked the On hand quantity(on-hand quantity form) and the current on hand (Item Supply/Demand form) both are same. Could not able to figureout what went wrong and how the cycle count reservations are created. Even after performing the Cycle counting on these items, it did not consumed these reservations and releaved those reservations.
Could anyone suggest me please in what scenrios we get this issue and how to eliminate these records from the Item Supply/Demand Form. we are on 11.5.10.2 INV and WMS RUP4.
    Thank You!
    Krishna

CC reservations can be triggered by Curtail (Short) picks on mobile gun. When this happens the ATR qty gets decremented by this Qty by putting a CC reservation.
This can also be deleted from front end by changing the demand source to acc/acc alias, save and then delete.

  • Report for materials which have not been cycle counted.

    Hi,
Is there any report which can show me materials which have not been cycle counted and also materials which have been cycle counted with the cc date?
    Sincerely,
    Nicky

    Hi,
As of my knowledge, there is no standard report which can fulfill your requirement. You may go for development. Please check the similar thread: Cycle count analysis report

  • Open Transfer Orders in WM Cycle Count

    Hi experts:
My client wants to implant cycle counting in WM, we are using MIBC for CC indicator analysis and LX26 to create inv. doc. The material master is ready with the CC indicators. But my client wants to know what open TO´s are already created for the materials to be counted in LX26.
Is there any procedure to list all TO´s that are open for materials displayed in MIBC analysis?
    Working on SAP ECC 6.0
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    1. You should check unprocessed TRs in LB10. (processing those TRs you can get the TOs).
    2. Unconfirmed TOs can be checked in LT22.
    3. Please also check LU04 for open PCNs.
You should also have a look at interim storage types, negative stock maybe indicates that after IM booking necessary WM booking were not executed (LB10 and LU04 can aslo give information on these).

  • Fields in MCHB table for cycle counting

    Hi Experts,
There is a requirement in my program that if the values of the follwoing stocks are there in MCHB table then change the date of creation when cycle counting is performed at the end of the year:

  • Macbook Pro - How to keep a low cycle count

    hey everyone,
Basically I purchased a new macbook pro 11 days ago, and My current cycle count is also 11. I am eager to keep my cycle count down this time round as my last macbook's battery died at around the 700 mark (the laptop was around 15 months old at the time) which I am told was very high. The average apparently being around 300 for a computer that old.
I have also read on other forums that people have managed to keep their cycle counts much much lower than 300 even for laptops over 15 months old.
So to maintain my battery's life this time round I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to keep the cycle count down this time round?
    Many thanks,
    Josh

I should point out that the batteries that seem to survive the longest are those that get used--i.e. relatively high cycle counts. They are like muscles--use them or lose them. I tried keeping cycles down on my first battery and the results were that it made it only 11 months. Most of the "my battery failed..." posts we see here show a low cycle count.
Also, you've posted a question about a new MBP in the forum for older ones made in Early 2008 and before. As the battery technology in your new MBP is different (and apparently better) and you have other hardware improvement made since 2008, you should use the forum for the current-generation MBPs here:
    http://discussions.apple.com/category.jspa?categoryID=251
Not to worry. It's not your fault you found the wrong forum. "Original MacBook Pro" is a pretty non-intuitive label! About a dozen people a day with new MBPs end up here and sometimes get inappropriate advise if responders either don't notice of can't tell that the OP is asking about a newer Mac.

  • I bought a brand new MacBook Pro Mid 2014, and my battery cycle count is on 2!!

As I said on the question, a brand new MacBook Pro I bought recently which I haven't even put on charge yet already has a cycle count of 2!
I'm just curious if this is normal and I want to make sure that I received a brand "new" one not a refurbished one.
Did anyone else order a new laptop and have cycle charge of 2 or more and is this normal or not?

The factory charges the battery, one cycle, they may then test that particular MacBook Pro as part of the production testing and it ends up with another cycle.  Two cycles is not something to worry about.  If you bought the unit from an Apple store or directly from Apple, it will not be a refurbished MBPr unless they specifically said it was.  They don't do things like that.

  • Cycle Counts

For 47 Months 589 Cycle counts Good?

Cycle counts mean absolutely nothing except in the very old age / death of the battery
Sort term abuse kills a battery, not cycle counts.
I can abuse a battery and ruin it with only 50 cycles.    Ignore cycles, focus on abuse.
General consideration of your MacBook battery
Contrary to popular myths about notebook batteries, there is protection circuitry in your Macbook and therefore you cannot ‘overcharge’ your notebook when plugged in and already fully charged.
However if you do not plan on using your notebook for several hours, turn it off (plugged in or otherwise), since you do not want your Macbook ‘both always plugged in and in sleep mode’.
A lot of battery experts call the use of Lithium-Ion cells the "80% Rule", meaning use 80% of the full charge or so, then recharge them for longer overall life. The main quantified damage done in the use of Lithium Ion batteries are instances where the internal notebook battery is “often drained very low”, this is bad general use of your notebook battery.
A person who has, for example, 300 charge cycles on their battery and is recharging at say 40% remaining of a 100% charge has a better battery condition state than, say, another person who has 300 charge cycles on their battery and is recharging at say 10-15% remaining on a 100% charge. DoD (depth of discharge) is much more important on the wear and tear on your Macbook’s battery than the count of charge cycles. There is no set “mile” or wear from a charge cycle in specific. Frequent high depth of discharge rates (draining the battery very low) on a Lithium battery will hasten the lowering of maximum battery capacity.
All batteries in any device are a consumable meant to be replaced eventually after much time, even under perfect use conditions.
If the massive amount of data that exists on lithium batteries were to be condensed into a simplex, helpful, and memorable bit of information it would be:
    1. While realistically a bit impractical during normal everyday use, a lithium battery's longevity and its chemistry's health is most happy swinging back and forth between 20% and 85% charge roughly.
    2. Do not purposefully drain your battery very low (10% and less), and do not keep them charged often or always high (100%).
    3. Lithium batteries do not like the following:
A: Deep discharges, as meaning roughly 10% or less on a frequent basis.
B: Rapid discharges as referring to energy intensive gaming on battery on a frequent basis (in which case while gaming, if possible, do same on power rather than battery). This is a minor consideration.
C: Constant inflation, as meaning always or most often on charge, and certainly not both in sleep mode and on charge always or often.

  • Cycle count(MICN) problem at year end

    Hi folks,
For cycle counting, if the counting date exceeds the current year, it proposes the last date of current year as the first counting date. But i do not want sap, to propose the last date of current year for counting. it should give me the correct figure as per indicator ( A- 152 days, B- 360 days ).
if i do GR today & My indicator is A, then counting date should be after 152 days ( in 2010) . if it falls on next year, then it's ok.
but system is proposing last date( 31/12/2009) of current year if the date falls on next year(2010).
Plz suggect , how to solve this.
    Thanks
    pabi

Any item has to be counted once a year. the fiscal year is controlling the inventory period.
if you have a new material that you receive the first time at the end of the year, then you have to count it in this year the first time, and the next time after your defined number of days.
Thats system design, you cant change it.

  • Cycle Counting procedures in ECC 6.0

    HI all.,
SUB: Cycle counting in ECC 6.0 with WM implemented
    Ref : Industry : Apparel
What would be the differences in the cycle counting procedure working on Version 4.6C and ECC 6.0.?
In 4.6C , we normally change the indicators of A,B,C or D in OMCO and set the parameters of frequency of cycle counting , say yrly, half yearly, quarterly or monthly.
Would the cycle counting procedure be the same with ECC 6.0?
I understand that from Version 5.0, we can do cycle counting without freezing the book stock i.e have open transfer orders unlike in 4.6C wherein we have to stop GR or GI at the time of cycle count.
Is the procedure same in ECC 6.0 ?
Do educate further on the Cycle count procedure for ECC 6.0 with WM implemented for an AFS related industry.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Try this it worked for me though,
    1. Goto SPRO_ADMIN
    2. Select the Project
    3. Choose Change
    4. Go To Transport Requests TAB
    5. Activate CTS Functionality
    6. Save it after the Pop Up
    7. Go to Se10 and check if the Project Field is getting Populated with the Desired Project or not.

  • Cycle count and inventory document generation

    hi.
Currrent Scenario : Cycle count has been configured for Quarterly cycle count for 20 materials.
Float period has been set for 5 days.
Procedure : Customer wants to do inventroy count for the  20 materials at the rate of one material per day.
Question : 20 Materials falling under "C" quarterly cycle count show up for Physical inventory.
Can the customer create an inventory document for <b>inventory count each day for each material</b> or will they have to create 20 inventory documents for count at one go since the float period is set for 5days.
Will the float period indicated play a part if the physical inventory is planned for each material on separate days.
Or if an physical inventory has been planned for the quarterly managed material, all material in that category say "C" would anyway show up during the quarterly inventory cycle count period. And the inventory count can be done for each material on seperate days.
    Thanks

    hi Arif.,
Earlier situation : Cycle count procedure was only A.
Present situation : Cycle count procedure is now ABCD .
But only C.c indicator A is still active for all material. We have not
changed the Cc indicators for any material.
    Transported to production on Friday.
    My question is :
On monday ,when the batch program was executed for printing of inventory
documents, Why does it generate a whole lot inventory documents for
Materials which have not been inventored even when the C.c indicators
remain A for all the Materials. We have not even in-corporated the
Quarterly cycle count indicators for the few selected materials.
    Should the system:
    1. Print Inventory documents only for the current period or
    2. Is the system behaving properly due to the change in Cycle count?
Only the Cycle count procedure has been changed to 4 times in a fiscal year.
Do review the information and update me.

  • Cycle Counting

    Hi
Is Cycle counting inventory process used only in Warehouse Management ?
Can't we use this for std MM ?
    Regards,
    A

    Hi There
Ref the below link for the Detail config process,,
    http://help.sap.com/printdocu/core/Print46c/en/data/pdf/MMIM/MMIM.pdf
In Transaction Mi01,  if you create the PI document, you have to enter the material one by one or you have to copy from the list of material and paste it to create the PI, it is burden for the user,,
In MICN, based on the last count or to be counted materials automatically picked for the PI doc creation, thats the reason we have t code MICN.
    Hope it clears
    Thanks

  • Cycle count

We do cycle count physical inventory in one storage type in one
Warehouse, every 30 days on around mid of every month and annual count
physical inventory on 31st Dec every year.
But due to annual count done on 31st Dec, old PI dates of bins are
updated as 31st Dec and new PI dates are proposed as 30th Jan.
So the regular cycle count dates are modified. Business does not want
the PI dates so modified due to recent Annual count, rather needs the
old PI dates displayed as per regular cycle count in LX26 run.
Kindly suggest how to restore old PI dates as per cycle count physical
    inventory.

yes you need a custom program for an update.
I never needed to run RLREOLPQ manually, SAP knows when the year is over. This report is probably only needed if you want reset counts within a fiscal year, maybe used when your company is sold in the middle of the year, and the new owner does not accept the already done counts.
