TRIP END DATE greyed out while creating Travel Request IN SAP ESS Portal

Dear Friends,
                           I am trying to create a Travel Request from my ESS Portal,when I am entering the trip details as follows:
General Trip Data (header)
Start: *    (Have to enter trip date)
End:        (greyed out)   **** problem with this field
First Destination: Country/Region:     open field
Reason for Trip:    open field
Activity:     open field
Estimated Cost:
Previous Step Review     Exit (these are all tabs)
The problem is that the END DATE is greyed out ,how do we enable it,is it a configuration setting or some code change in the function module
PTRA_UTIL_GENERAL_DATA_FIELDS
My portal consultant said that this FM is called in the backround R/3....please let me know ure views on this...

Hi Team,
We are facing an issue while creating travel request from portal.
When we are entering estimated cost and after clicking on save and send button we are getting data is saved as correct.But after clicking on display form button the data is showing as different.
But after clicking on display form it is showing as 298900(adding two zeros at end for every cost).

Error while Creating Travel Request ..thru TRIP

Dear all,
As I am suppose to creat a travel request thru TRIP but i am geting the below error and the msg no..............
Error: Trip country IN / trip region do not exist in the system (T702O)
Message no. PTRA_WEB_INTERFACE031
As Mr. Paulo Vitoriano suggested me to Define Trip Areas, etc......... but my Trip Areas has already been defined and i have checked it also .... but still the error is same ....... so frnds pls tell me wat else may be the problem....
I read thred Error while Creating Travel Request ..thru TRIP which is posted by prasanth but what they suggested i maitained already but still i am facing same problem could you pls suggest me where i missed.

Please check the following:
1. Just check have you assigned country India to the trip provision variant you have created.
2. Just check whether you have assigned the trip provision variant correctly to the respective country.

You mean to say that the Company Code Data Section is Greyed out.
From your message i understood that you are trying to create a Customer in XD01.
If that is so give your Company Code in the Company Code Field in the initial screen.

Creating Travel request with TRIP Getting Error 'Infotype P0017 could not be read'

Getting this error while creating travel request with TRIP transaction code. Please help for an alternate way to create Travel request or help to resolve this issue.

Go to transaction PA30 to open master record of employee for whose trip need to be created type 17 at infotype -> enter F5 and Save.

While creating travel request from EP, we are encountering the following "error:com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.context.ContextConfigurationException: DataNodeInfo(FcTreGeneralData.GeneralDataCheck.GeneralDataCheck_Output.GeneralDataCheck_E_General_Data): structure field City_Districtadr not found "
I believe the issue is related to SP levels. Can anyone help resolve this.

you need to check in two areas:
OVLP - Item Not relevant for picking in item category.
LT03 or subsequent functions at delivery level - for transfer order.

Making material short text grade out while creating PR

dear all
while making pr for materials,by t-code me51n, the system does not make the material short text diable/grade out.
eg if i select material from material master say material code 1000055-----& short text is --cement 53 grade.
then at the time of creating pr i can change the short text cement 53 grade to any off my choice.
logically this should not happend, as then their will not be any trace of PR in system.
pls let me know how to come out of this problems.
as we want that when ever we select the material from MM master, the system should make the short text grade out while creating the PR, so that further complication can be avoided.

this process does not work. beacause with this process the system disable the entire coloumn of short text in ME51N.
which is not our requirement.
the system should only grade out the material short text cell while we create the PR for material, so that one could not able to change the material short text which has come from MM master

Portal runtime error on creating Travel Request

I have copied the standard ESS Role and created my own ESS Role. I then assigned this to my portal user.
Then when I log into the portal as the user and click on "Create Travel Request" or "Create Expense Report" URLs, I get the following error:
Portal runtime error.
An exception occurred while processing your request. Send the exception ID to your portal administrator.
Exception ID: 04:53_02/02/10_0021_23623650
Refer to the log file for details about this exception.
Is there any portal/IMG setup that is missing? Or any authorization missing?

Thanks I made changes to Resources node in IMG.
Before making these changes I was getting the following error:
Portal Runtime error. An exception occured while processing your request... Exception ID:.... Refer to log for details....
I just changed the URL of PCD page in the Resources node.
Note:
(1) In Portal I have made my own folder structure:
-> Portant Content
-->My Travel Setup
--->Employee Self-Service
>Roles
>MyTravelESS (role copy of the original Portal ESS role, Delta link. i.e. ESS role under End User Content-->Employee Self-Service)
(2) I have not copied the iviews, pages worksets etc. under my new folder structure.
But Now I am getting another error:

We created enhancement for FM HRTRV_IF_GET_CUSTOMIZING and written code in that.
So by this if Logged in Employee is not assgned with Line Manager , it will throw error while accessing "Create Travel Request application".

Error message while creating Appropriation Request

I am getting Error message while creating Appropriation Request.
I have done all the confiig according to SAP Best Practices U30 Investment Management.
When going into transaction IMA11(Create an AR) I can full in all fields but as soon as I click on the Control Tab I get a Run time error. Also when attempting to save the AR without clicking on the Control tab I get this message.

You said you are trying to do this stuff in IDES right.
If you are using IDES provided by a company and where many people play on IDES, then you can get many such issues...
This is by our experience. Today you do something in IDES and tommorow that thing or config is screwed up by others.
If you have your own IDES, then check the suggestion given by the forum Guru's.

I check and the User is not expired.
I found the following suggestion.
I asume that you are using a "Basic Authentication" method, if this is your case, you should configure the SICF service with the following parametters:
1) Go to SICF, /yourservice / double click
2) On the "Logon Data" tab, in the "Procedure" option choose "Alternative Logon Procedure".
3) On the same tab, at the "Logon procedure option", delete the SSO option, and change the Number of the another methods, raised the "Basic Authentication" to the first place.
4) Go to Error pages tab, flag "System logon", and after that click over Configuration, here check "Do no display warnings"

I am trying to know how I can restrict a requester to select specific system only while creating a request.
I could find aut. object GRAC_ROLEP in role "XXX_requester". There is field GRAC_SYSID in this object wherein
I can specify the connector name. Initially, it was having "*" value and then I changed it to specific
connector. I sychronized the roles/users data and tried to raise a request. However, I still find all the
connectors defined including LDAP!
May I know how I can show only "required" connectors while creating a request?
