TRIP_EWT

Hi,
I am wondering if someone now how to modify TRIP_EWT.
I would like to delete the "Change Approved Travel Expense Report" so the employed only could Display the trips.
I am also thinking of deleting the "Create Travel Expense Report ... With Ref."
Cheers,
Ingvar

Hi Ingvar,
TRIP_EWT is a standard Transaction. No service file or template exists in the SAP system that can be published to ITS. TRIP_EWT is rendered by webgui, but because the EWT flag is set in se93, the header area is rendered different. If you want to modify the screens you have to either use screen painter or you have to create own templates.
Best regards,
Klaus

  • Print Button in TRIP_EWT not working

We just recently upgraded from 4.7 to ECC 6.0 and noticed in the portal that when we click the print button after displaying the travel expense report that it doesn't do anything. It should display a pop-up of the print dialog box. I checked the code in SAP and everything's fine. I'm suspecting that there is a setting in the service parameters in SICF that's blocking the print dialog box from popping out. If anybody can just point out what we are missing on the gui configuration of the service that would be very much appreciated!

    Hi Derick
Not good news I'm afraid, the service TRIP_EWT is no longer supported starting ERP2005. It was envisioned to be replaced by the Web Dynpro functionality
Notes 870126 and 709038 are explaining the maintainence strategy and reasons for this.
Sorry not to give you good news here!

  • EWT , ESS and Exit URL

    Hi,
we are using SAP EP 6.0 with ESS-Scenarios.
The transaction TRIP_EWT and URL, which are all Easy Web Transactions ( EWT ) do not have service files, since they are all configured as EWT-Transactions without IAC.
I need to set a different exit-URL. Right now, the standard "Thanks for using ITS" is displyed.
Anyone has an idea, where to set an exit URL, when there is no service file?
    TIA -hs

    Hi Holger,
Since these EWTs are rendered via webgui service it should work to use the parameter ~exiturl in webgui.srvc with a meaningful value, e.g. http://www.mycompany.com
    Thanks and regards,
    Dieter
