Trip Schema is not visible in FITVFELD_WEB

Hi,
When I made some changes in the Trip schema 01 for country Germany and saved, the trip schema is not visible in the left hand panel at all. But when I try to copy 99 to 01, it says '01' already exists. This means the trip schema 01 is available and not visible in transaction FITVFELD_WEB.
Appreciate if anyone suggest to make this visible to make further changes.

It is displayed the trip schema 01 in the table T706S and V_T706S and transaction FITVFELD.
But it is invisible in the trasaction FITVFELD_WEB.

5.2: custom schema infos not visible in console

i added a bunch of objectclasses and attribute types to the 99user.ldif file in slapd-instance/config/schema. These change are visible using
ldapsearch -b cn=schema '(objectclass=*)' to view the schema infos.
When i use the console to edit/maintain the schema definitions, the 'User Defined Object Classes' list is empty. I cant find my objectclasses in the 'Standard object classes' list either.
I used the X-ORIGIN 'user defined' value (used different values for field just to be sure) but nothing ....
Any hints?

When you click on the schema tab - you get nothing? If this is the case verify you still have ACI's in place that will allow you read access by clicking on the directory tab and viewing the access control for the schema entry.

Business Rules - When importing complex schema subelements not visible

When I try an import the schemas to XML Facts It doesnt seem to import all the subelements and attributes, ie I can See AlphaCollection and click down to instItem but if i click on instItem i only get size() and null() as options. How do I ensure that I can get to aId, dat etc? These are stored in the same xsd (though I do import many xsds to make up the whole model). Xsd snippet below. Thanks in advance.

What's the targetNamespace and what's the default namespace of the xsd?
For the snippet to work the way it is they must be the same... Otherwise you will have to define an alias and use it on the element definition...
For example

xmlns="http://example.org"
targetNamespace="http://example.org"

Hi Karim,
While creating travel request, you wont get an option of selecting trip schema. Because you are mapping the trip schema to the trip activity type, so that it automatically picks the respective trip schema mapped to the activity type.
Only when you are creating an expense report, the system will ask to choose trip schema and not while creating travel request.

for International travel, the Travel plan data for trip activity (Longterm) in not defaulted in Travel expence.
Trip activity is maintained in trip schema, and subsequent assignments have done properly.
Trip schema is not defaulted as per trip activity, please suggest.

My client is using TRIP transaction. As you said it is working fine in PR05, i have checkd the tablesT706R/TA22B they are maintained same.
if i directly maintain Expence report without travel plan the values are defaulted from Trip Schema.
if i want to change the Trip schema manually in Expences for which a travel plan exists, i am not able to do. throwing message "The trip schema was not changed".
Eg: we have different schemas for Domestic (01), Abroad (02), Abroad long term (03). i am able to change the trip schemas for 01, 02 but for 03 i can't.
03 if for any trip which is longer than 8 days to a particular country ex: Germany.
for 01, 02 trip Activity is defaluted in TRIP and PR05. For schma 03 Activity type was not defaulted from Travel Plan.
could you please suggest is any other way to handle this !

Trip schema PL does not exist in the system (T706S)

I have configured Travel Management. When saving Travel request tcode - 'TRIP', it gives an error 'Trip schema PL does not exist in the system (T706S) Message no. PTRA_WEB_INTERFACE036'. I have maintained schema for Variant '40' Indian Accounting.

Sequences are not visible to user/schema

I have copied a schema(abcd1)(schema level refresh) from prod to dev(abcd2),i verified that all objects(tables,views,synonyms and sequences etc..) got created in the dev schema(abcd2) ,but now the client complains that the sequences are not visible to user/schema(abcd2) in dev,he says it was visible before and that they are visible to another schema(abcd3) in dev.... can anyone please advise? 0017 Travel Privileges - Period Parameter is not visible?

If I understand here correctly...do you mean you wished to have these fields "pre-filled" in IT017?
The assignment of the trip provision variant in feature TRVCT is based on the parameter WERKS = personnel area and PERSK = Employee Subgroup. Both of the parameters are taken from infotype 0001 and this would be the basis of the employee being assigned to trip provision variant. (see also feature TRVCT via tcode PE03) and then subsequent customizing of such trip schemas in transaction FITVFELD

Drop down boxes do not show up. My tabs are not visible. I could barely see the box to type in this question. Something is off. I deleted and reinstalled program it is still just floating words. I work on a Mac with ox 10.6.8

The browser boxes, tabs, and links do not show up with the needed outlines, colors, and shapes. This box I am typing in was barely visible. Above this box is a set of two verticle parallel bars. When I moused over it, I saw it was for inserting a link, but if I had not been curious I would not have known what those lines were for. When I look at this page on PC I have a colored blue backdrop. It is not visible on the Mac. The search box does not have the image of the magnifying class and the arrow does not show up where it should be. The words Post Question just appear below the statement we have made some educated guesses about your browser. I thought maybe it had been a theme that was applied, but I do not see how it could have come on when I trashed the old version of the firefox.

Captivate 5.5 published files are not visible in Fire Fox or open in new window.

When I publish and post Captivate 5.5, the HTML or the swf files do not display in Fire Fox (latest version) without forcing the file to open in a new window (if it displays at all). If it does work, the Flash security blocks the swf on an ugly view until the user clicks.
I thought it was because I have to assign a direct URL to each component, but all of the other Captivate sites I have reviewed have the same issue when viewing in Fire Fox.
IE will display after the active x is authorized (I can live with that).
You Tube and other Flash display properly in Fire Fox, just not Captivate products.
I have disabled off all plugins, modified the protected settings, and everything I could find listed in the Fire Fox help. I have installed a previous version of Flash and Shockwave Player. Short of reinstalling windows, it is not working and that will not help because the published content is not visible on any other machine in the office or at home.
The files are in a Portal, so I cannot share them unless you are in the DoD and have an AKO or DKO account.
However, here is another example of the Captivate not working.

Any of the DAU games, if they display. It is a government site, so they have the standard gov garbage (stuff not working like certificates), but nothing is harmful nor can they do anything to track other than the current session.
It is kind of weird how the content is displayed... It is not an intranet, it goes to a limited access portal. When I store content, it uses an absolute path instead of relative path. Very aggrevating when using many of the tools for non-programmers (like me), and probably more aggrevating for programmers.
Whether I point directly to the .swf or to the generated HTML, the content displays in IE, but not in FF.
It may be a combination of FF and Captivate. FF seems rather flaky in dealing with swf files. There is the consideration for add-ons, but I tried on a newly imaged computer and it still was not working. Even after going through all of the FF steps to get it to work.
Basically we had to create a new HTML file to display the content because the Captivate published files don't work. However, the new HTML does not reference the XML files.
When I publish, I get 5 different files, .swf, .htm, .js, and 2 .xml. When I dig through the code (once again, not a programmer, soo I may be missing something), even round tripping to Flash, I do not see how the .xml files are referenced at all.
These may be different topics, not sure, it came up because I am trying to get a simple solution from the product that can be easily transferred to our production servers and available for Solders to access.

External hard drive not visible on Mac Mini

I just purchased a Mini with Lion. The Seagate Freeagent external hard drive is visible from finder on the Mini but it is "read only" and it is not visible on the wireless network to my macbook. How can I make the external hard drive read write and make it visible on the network?

Vendor schema group not appearing in purchasing data of Vendor sub range

Hi Experts,
I have created a vendor sub range and when maintaining the purchasing data, the vendor schema group field is not visible.
Is there any specific settings reqd. after maintaining the sub-range.

As i said this is not possible in stanadard SAP.
Even when you try opening VSR specific Purchasing data, there you will NOT get vendor schema group.
Reason is, Vendor Schema group will be maintained at Main vendor level. So irrespective of VSR, it will pick pricing procedure in the purchasiong Document.
VSR: In the vendor master, you can maintain different data for particular vendor sub-ranges, such as ordering addresses or terms of payment, for example.
When creating a purchase order with a known vendor, different data is only determined if the vendor sub-range is entered in the initial screen.
