Trivia Question: Is there anyone alive that knows all the tools and shortcuts of a monster app like Photoshop or After Effects?

Some of these Adobe programs are so feature-packed and use huge teams of developers to continually add features. I wonder if any of them have reached a size and complexity that is beyond the capacity of a single person to know it all?

Battery performance depends on what you have running on your iPhone.
e.g. If you have Brightness set to high (or full) with Auto Dimming Disabled, Locations Services, Push Notification (set Fetch to Manually), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi (ask to join networks enabled too) and 3G all enabled your battery will get used a lot quicker, especially if you use Third Party Apps on top of all these other things.
If however you activate Wi-Fi when you want to use it, or Bluetooth etc as your needs require, battery performance will be better (as in your battery will last longer before requiring a charge). If you are on a low 3G coverage area, why have your iPhone constantly trying to join a 3G network? Switch 3G off and use the conventional carrier (2G) until you return to an area where you know 3G coverage is better.
I know these measures are less convenient than just having everything switched on, but if you want to maximise battery use between charges try activating the features you require when you require them, then disable them when you don't require them instead of having everything switched on permanently.
I have noticed when Push is enabled (3G has to be enabled also), it absolutely canes the battery

Is there a way of listing all the current keyboard shortcuts?

Within a program is there a way of listing all the current keyboard shortcuts , in a sensible order?
I mean in shortcut order, giving the name of the menu option (or other function) alongside.
I often want this when I"m about to define my own keyboard shortcut, to see what's already taken.

If you assign a keyboard shortcut that already exists for another command or another app, your new shortcut won’t work. Find the menu command that’s using it and reassign the keyboard shortcut for that item.

You are still under warranty and/or have AppleCare. Call them. Let them deal w/it.

What is the best way to implement tree in web dynpro for abap when we know all the nodes, there levels and parents.
I have the structure like this:

it could be up to 10 levels with hundreds of nodes

Is there any way to see all the bookmarked pins at once in Map App?!

I have been making a route for my next mountaineering trip using the red pins on the map app! i have like 20 bookmarks. I could see all the bookmarks at once and it was so nice. but after I searched another place all the bookmarks dissapeared. now i can see only one of the bookmarks at a time! is there any way to see all of them together again ?! please someone help I put so much affort to find the correct route...

Is there any way I can simply list everything at once?
The best workaround I'm aware of comes courtesy of BMan1854: Create a Smart Playlist that will Match the following rule: Date Added is after 01/01/2001 (or whatever the day before the day that you first started your iTunes Library is). That playlist will show your entire library.
Or is there a way so that when I add new podcasts it will get rid of the old ones automatically?
Have you gone to the iTunes Edit menu > Preferences > Podcasts tab and checked out the various options listed in the Keep drop-down menu.

That's because your landlord probably is using WPA2 encryption or 802.11g or 802.11n wireless. The iBook G3 lacks support for WPA2 encryption, which is much stronger than WEP and the original WPA.   It also only has support for 802.11b.     If you want to join a newer router with a secure firewall, get an 802.11g or better wireless ethernet bridge.

P.P.S. 10.7.1 can't run on an iBook.   Are you sure you have an iBook and 10.7.1 is on it? If it doesn't say iBook on your screen frame, or Apple menu -> About This Mac doesn't say Mac OS X 10.7.1, it is not 10.7.1, or an iBook. If you rented on a computer, it will only be on that computer, unless you sync it to another device ( you cannot move it to another computer.

Yes, the Mac can read NTFS drives, but not write to them.
If you have the drive formatted FAT or exFAt then the Mac can read and write to it. But before formatting, remove the data as it's erased, and format it on the PC as it's easier. Right click on Windows and Format.

Moving your personal data via the external drive is likley the best option, there are other methods like Migration, but they are problematic and take a long time, a drive is simple, fast and direct.

Thanks.....my Vietnamese expert spouse says this tip will work just fine. I was not aware of the hold down function. Slow typing but accomplishes the objective native on the iPad.
You are correct.....most Apps that I find seem to be based only on a copy/paste method of input.

You need iTunes on the computer. There is no iTunes for your phone. See:

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

Is there anyone here that uses Jedit?

I'm experimenting with Jedit and I like it but I'm trying to figure something out. I've searched the Web and YouTube and really can't find what I'm looking for. I can compile and run my Java programs fine by using the menus at the top. But I would also like to be able to type in the old fashioned commands at the prompt at the bottom of the console:
javac Hello.java
java Hello
But when I type those in I get an error message "file not found". Someone told me that I need to set the Console working directory. Okay. But he didn't tell me how. I've been looking at all the options and everything thinking there must be a way to set the working directory so the console can find my .java file and compile and run it. But I'm turning up zilch.
So if anybody on this forum is familiar with Jedit and can provide some instructions on how to do this please post.

Yeah I'm aware that console is a plug-in. I downloaded it through the plug-in manager.
Then I read something about JCompiler which I guess is a compiler plug-in but I don't see it listed anywhere in the plug-in window so I don't even know if that is installed or not.

I have waited for 39 hours for a response from support team with no reply. I can get any of my credit cards to be accepted with itunes. Somthing is wrong on apples side of things..been to apple store and they could not help either. this is crappy. I am one of the biggest apple fans but this is one side of apple that really *****. I agree completely endive! I've been fighting for days trying to get some help with a technical problem and apparently, you can't get help from Apple without paying out the nose. The problem I'm having is due to an update they recommended which I installed and now have no sound in itunes!
I too love Apple products. I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, their customer service after the sale! The are just as bad as Microsoft.
