Hello-
I have a process which creates form A dynamically and emails it. After emailing the for I need to generate Form B and attach Form A. I can generate Form B fine, it's the attaching that is giving me rouble.
Is this possible?
Thanks.

    Trouble attaching css style sheet in DW MX (NOT DW MX 4)
    I am currently using Dreamweaver MX , and for some reason, in
    design view, the style sheet does not attach (a least I can't see
    the change). My divs, and images are all stuck to the upper left
    corner, as though it were not attached.
    A friend told me it was because I have MX and Not MX 4 , does
    this matter?

    How do I get a PDF document put into an attachment form that I can drag to an e-mail.  Usually I get an icon showing an spiral note book which then becomes an attachment when I drag it to the e-mail, but occasionally it stays in PDF and prints out on the e-mail.  What have I done differently?

    Thanks again for the detailed instructions Srini!
    And I really hate to be a pest . . . but . . .
    Using your example and not modifying it, I get the e-mail form filled out correctly and the pdf attached, however, I'm not prompted to sign it.
    Any more clues?

  • Trouble Creating Forms in Dreamweaver

    Hello,
    I am having trouble creating a form in Dreamweaver for my website.  The form is fairly basic, just some contact/comment input required.
    I created my webpages using Fireworks CS4 and exported them as HTML and Images.  The basic format of my website is to have a rectangular block in the middle of the page, where the form elements are supposed to be entered.  However, it seems that I cannot simply add a textbox or textarea to the middle of my page.  If I try, everything gets shifted around very strangely.
    How can I leave the format of the page intact, but add in the form elements (name, email, comments)?
    You can see the page here: http://www.wafflesnjoe.com/preview/contact.htm
    Thank you

    Thanks Murray, I had a feeling that that's where I'd be headed.
    Is there a more seamless way of transferring webpages from Fireworks to Dreamweaver, such as CSS and Images, that would make it easier for me to work in Dreamweaver?
    Would you recommend building websites in Dreamweaver, and not bother with Fireworks?
    Sorry for all the questions, but I'm a newbie.

    Subject: Trouble Creating Forms in Dreamweaver
    I'm not very familiar with Dreamweaver, so this may be a basic question to ask.
    The trick is to be familiar with HTML, not DW, since HTML underlies everything that DW does, and that you want to do on a web page.
    To add a form to a page without disrupting the layout of the page, you have to a) select a layout design that constitutes good practice, and b) build the layout so that it accommodates the form.  I know that's not a very satisfactory answer.
    First of all, unless you are fairly familiar with HTML, your layout will not be easy to implement because you will need to constrain the form and its elements to fit vertically within that central area.  This is not so easy because you have no way of controlling how large or small I (as a visitor) am displaying my text in my browser.  Thus, that form's content is going to expand or contract vertically causing the boxed area to need to expand or contract accordingly.  This is layout 101 for an experienced developer, but may just push you over the edge if you have no HTML under your belt.  So, I would discourage you from trying to use this design.  Is that possible?

  • Having trouble attaching PDF to aol email

    Recently started having trouble attaching a PDF to an aol email on my mac.  The document implants in the body of the email vs. As an attachment.

    I'm not a Mail expert, but I believe I read that if your PDF is just one page, it'll show in the body of your message on your end; if it is longer, it'll show as an attachment on your end.
    None of this matters because it depends entirely on the email client the recipient uses whether the PDF will wind up as an attachment or appear within the body of the message - there is nothing you can do to change that. It is dictated by the OS/settings the recipient is using.

  • How to attach Form to Transaction Code F-92

    Dear All,
    I have a reuirement from my client, where in they need Printout for Transaction Code f-92, I want to know how to attach Form to the Transaction Code or is there any standard Form availabale in the system.
    Thanks in advance
    Dnyanesh Shenwai

    Hi
    The user menu is the set of menu of all roles of user, so you should check the roles of the user and update one of menu of user roles.
    You can do it by transactions PFGC, but if you change a role you'll change the menu of all users have that role.
    This operation usually is made by the administrators of system.

  • Trouble Setting Form Defaults

    I wanted to write a form to write to the user preferences. This works fine.
    I'm having trouble getting the user's current setting to come in as a default. The value can be retrieved from a function call, but the form errors when it tries to execute the call.
    I have the field value default set to wwpre_api.value.get_value_as_number('path','name') and the type set to 'function returns number'. Don't worry about the syntax, I think any function call could go in its place.
    Anyone get this type of thing to work? Is there a better approach for a form that sets preferences?

    I am sorry George. I am very new to this.  I believe I made all fields unlocked by selecting all, entering properties in one while all were selected and insured the lock check box in the bottom left of the popup was unchecked. I even checked it and then unchecked it to insure it was applied to all. That didn't make any difference. Then I finally found where to see the comments (which I assume is what you meant by annotations.) I deleted them all. Still no difference. What am I doing wrong? short of doing every field one at a time I don't know how to check to see if there are any fields locked or there are any annotations. I also could not find where or how to turn off annotations or marking edits.
    I am attaching a link to the form after performing these functions and saving the form. Please look at and select form field 15 on page 4. Then right click on form field 42 on page 3 and select Set Fields To The Same Size. Options are still greyed out.

    Thank you for all your assistance. I appreciate it and am disappointed in Adobe for not providing support for their product.
    Another thought... Could this be something about my computer of the program? If so, how do you recommend I check or correct that?

  • Sharepoint list and custom add attachment form

    Hello.
    Is it some how possible to dynamically create a custom form, in an iFrame, with the action as "/_layouts/attachFile.aspx?ListId={12345678-1234-1234-1234-123456789012}&;ItemId=2" to add an attachment to a list item?
    I tried different things but nothing seems to actually attach the file.
    Or, can I override UploadAttachment() so when the user clicks a button it shows the file selector dialog directly and after they are done I get notified so I can do something?
    Any ideas?
    Use Case:
    I have a list. The list has a title, description (memo), an image path, and a "read more" path. The image and "read more" path are single line of texts. The user would do one of two things: provide the URL to a file that is already online,
    or click "browse" to select a file to be attached to the item.
    It is that last part I need help with. I can edit the NewForm.aspx to add a "<input type='file'..." but I can't figure out what I need to do then.
    I can't use the default attach item because I need to know what file is for what, image or "read more". Which is why I want a button for "image" and "read more" so that after the user selects a file I can store some details that
    will later let me identify what file is what.
    My plan was to override the "save" button so that my code runs instead of the default.
    Then I would use SPServices to create the item.
    Then:
     - I can't use FileReader so I cannot use the AddAttachment web service
     - I can't use the existing "/_layouts/attachFile.aspx" because it won't let me dynamically set the file path
     - I can't seem to create my own form dynamically that would attach the file
     - I can call "UploadAttachment()" but that changes screens after the user clicks "OK" I won't know so I can't save the details I need

    Hi,
    According to your description, you might want to add a button “browse” in the NewForm/EditForm, when clicking it, users will be able to select a file to be attached
    the current item.
    If this is the case, you can add the script below with the <a> tag into the NewForm/EditForm, then when user clicks the <a> tag, the OOTB file browse dialog
    will show up:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    function AttachFile()
    SP.Ribbon.PageManager.get_instance().executeRootCommand("Ribbon.ListForm.Edit.Actions.AttachFile", null, null, null);
    </script>
    <a onclick='javascript:AttachFile();'>browse</a>
    Best regards,

  • Creating forms in Workbench

    I am fairly new to LiveCycle Workbench ES so this might sound like a dumb question.  But, is it better to create my Adobe forms in LiveCycle Designer first and then bring them into LiveCycle Workbench ES? or is it best to start the whole process using WorkBench ES only?
    The reason I am asking is because I use a custom template for all of my interactive Adobe forms.  I have not found a way to apply that custom template to a form if I create it in Workbench.  So what I have been doing instead is creating the form in LiveCycle Designer and then bringing it into LiveCycle Workbench by simply dragging and dropping.  I then use WorkBench just to build my processes for that form.  Is this a good way to do it?

    The end result will be the same: an XDP within an application.
    If you use the Designer embedded in Workbench, then you'll get some advantages, like versionning, it'll check-out the file automatically for you, you can access resources (images, fragments) from within the application,etc.
    However, there's nothing wrong in using the stand alone Designer dragging the file manually.
    We're just trying to keep the developer in the same development environment as much as possible.

  • Trouble with form on a view

    Hi,
    I have trouble with the ROWID (ORA-01445) error when running the standard doQuery function on a button in a Form.
    Is it possible to use doQuery or do I have to write my own PL/SQL code, if so where can I find information on this (like the code for doQuery would be nice).

  • Attach Forms With Comm Port in Oracle Forms

    I am trying to make connection of Oracle forms Builder with my device using comm port but i dnt know the complete procedure to attach the comm with oracle forms also i have no idea to convert asquii data to normal form.Please any one help me to attach comm port with my oracle forms and also convert asqui code which is showing on hyper terminal into normal data.Also I am using oracle forms 6i

    Make a java component (PJC) and use a rxtx library (http://rxtx.qbang.org/wiki/index.php/Examples) ...
    I have made a PJC to use a RS232 port from oracle forms for Hypercom POS terminal..
    Here is my code (in short i will post a component on PJC site (here I can't post a complete code because of 30000 char limit ;) )..
    If you look in method "public void init(IHandler handler) " I make a download of rxtxSerial.dll from my forms server and then I call System.loadLibrary("rxtxSerial");"
    In other way you must put the dll in windows/system32 path.. This dll is native library for rs232 communication.
    If you look at the method "public void doTransaction" you can see the initialization of comm port...
    With inputStream and OutputStream you read and write datas to/from your rs232 port..
    p.s: the code is not complete but you can see how I made the rs232 communication (also the code is not final ;) )

    <b>But the reports(Through Report Painter) which are creaed by us has no entry in TSTCP table !!</b>
    Kindly show the way, how to attach the T.code to the reports which are created through report painter. as its getting so buggy now !!
    Please tell me if someone know about this.
    <b>Please note all my reports are created directly in the 500(Production</b>).
    Waiting for quick inputs !!

  • Send email message without attaching form

    Below is a sample click event javascript for a button.  This will generate an email including form information of your choosing without attaching the actual form (PDF) itself.
    This would benefit people in situations that have the form auto saving to a predetermined location, but would still like an email notification that the form has been submitted.
         var cMyMsg = "Your Text\n\n";
              cMyMsg += "Your Text " + Fieldname1.rawValue + "\n";
              cMyMsg += "Your Text " + Fieldname2.rawValue + "\n";
