Trouble Buying Activation Key

I'm having trouble buying the Aperture Trial - Activation Key from the Apple store. I add it to my cart, enter all my payment information, click Place Order and get an error: Session Timed Out.
I've tried:
- both Safari & Firefox
- reset cache for Safari
- reboot machine
- using my .mac account and checking out as a guest
- a second machine (macbook air)
Get the same result on all.
Called Apple and was told that they couldn't help. Problem was on my end. The only option they offered was to send me a boxed copy.
Any ideas?

You don't buy the Aperture trial that is free. Try downloading it first then try to purchase it, if you still run into problems call the Apple Store and Apple should be able to help you out.
If you can wait a little for shipping time you can buy Aperture for less than Apple offers it for from Amazon and if you shop around can even find it for less. If you're are in the US Amazon is currently selling it from $154.00 - $175.00.

As indicated in the header question, I've been unable to get PS CS3 to run (other than in "trial period" mode) on my new laptop. I purchased CS3 a few years ago and had it up and running on my former (now deceased) machine; I still had the activation key. I installed the program on my new machine (running Windows 7.1), seemingly uneventfully. But when I now enter the activation key, I get an error message informing me that the number is not valid.
Does the activation key become invalid after a certain time period, or is there something I can fix? I'm interested in upgrading, but would like to have the familiar version available until I get around to doing so (just retired; lots of time-consuming changes afoot).

Office 2010 activation key lost

Help! Ive recently had to reset my laptop back to factory,( due to sons downloading a trojan) problem is I need an activation key for Office 2010. apparently It was on/in the packaging the laptop came in.(long gone) how do I do this? the Dell site doesn't seem to cover the recovery .

It was on a card with restore disk.
You lost this so you will have to buy it again.

Activation Key Problem

Hey everyone.
Just before moving to Japan I purchased a Macbook, about one month ago or so. This Macbook came with iWork '06 installed. This week the trial ran out, so after opening up Pages, I went through it's option to purchase an activation key online. So it took me to the key purchase page on the applestore and I purchased the serial.
The serial came through my email and I entered the activation key to find that it didn't work. I'm using iWork '06 and the activation key is for iWork '08. What's up with that? Is there a way to update to '08 and then use the activation key? Any help concerning the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Taking your advice I clicked on the download- 459MB. So while I wait for the '08 software to download, I am wondering whether I can or should remove the other version that was installed but apparently did not work. Do you know?
The version that was on my computer (purchased 2 months ago) had a button that said "buy now" that took me to the '08 software. The same prompt also requested a "serial number" but did not mention an "activation key", which had me wondering if I was actually copying the right number.

If you bought the iphone in the US and it is locked to a specific carrier, then you can't use a different sim (from another carrier). Is this your situation?
Otherwise I'm not sure what you mean by "trying to unlock my SIM". In which country did you buy the iphone? Who's your carrier?

You can't "transfer" - you have to deactivate>uninstall on one and then install>activate on the other.
If the software is registered you can log in to your Adobe account and retrieve the serial number. If it isn't, it's possible that the registration process reads and sends the serial number automatically, so you could try to register now. If that doesn't work you're basically scr***d.
When you buy software, the commodity you buy is not the installer itself. You can get that for free any time. What you buy is a serial number.

Iweb activation key

Bought dotmac single subscription at 99.xx. No activation key found. Unable to use iweb at all as it looks like I must register. I've tried to figure this out since I bought it on 1/3/2007 and cannot find any answer. I have an email receipt and nothing else. Good catch Brian. I was thinking that iweb wasn't even on the computer and it needed to be purchased. Reading it again, I see that the application appears to already be on the computer. (Of course if it is a new computer, it should be.)

Just bought a copy of light room 5 from best buy online. they sent me the activation key and it is 2 charters short from being valid. i contacted them and they said that was the key given to them by you and to contact you for help. so not sure what there is to do but get a new key...

Jjakejj I would recommend contacting the establishment which sold you the redemption code for a refund. What specific software title were you looking to purchase? Is it available at Products?

Sorry for the trouble. Are you using both Mcafee & Norton protection together on the same computer? We always recommend to use only one real time protection- antivirus at a time since using 2 different programs can conflict with ecah other and may affect the entire performance. If you would like to use only Mcafee protection, please uninstall Norton from the Control Panel. If you would like to use Norton, please uninstall Mcafee from the Control Panel. Check if it shows as expired after that.

6110 Map Activation Keys

I've just purchased a Nokia 6110 Navigator. It has a 2007 UK Map installed but the activation key is for the 2006 map. Therefore I cannot use the Navigator software without buying a new key!
I spoke to Route 66 support who said that they were aware that Nokia had shipped a number of handsets with the wrong map/activation combinations and that I should contact Nokia.
There is no copy of the 2006 map on the CD that came with the phone.
Anyone got any ideas on how to solve this?

How can I get Apple to give me an activation key for QT Pro that works?

Stopping at the Genius Bar last night, they suggested I upgrade my QT Viewer to Pro so I could move some of my digital video over to my iPone. I followed the purchase/download instructions and after putting in the activation code, I was NOT redirected to the page to activate the Pro version. I did the usual of retyping ny name, the key and even installed QT Viewer again, all to no avail.
I caled Apple support this morning and was told to call QT support and have them make my key recognizable. The only problem is the number she gave me for QT support says there is no QT phone support, only web information on frequently asked questions and this forum. I sort of feel like I am going in a circle.
So if anyone has the magical answer on how I can get Apple to give me an activation key that actually works without being able to speak or email a human support person, I would very much appreciate it.

error message. In fact nothing happens. My name and
key are typed in and from what I understand, once you
do that with a real key it directs you to the
registration page. When I get done entering the
information the window just sits there without any
button or option to continue.
QT Pro is already in the QT (non-pro) you installed and the key (which is a hash of your name in part) allows the Pro features to work.
No redirect, internet, nothing like that. As such many people have activated and think they haven't. Just look at the menu items and see if the "Pro" logo is shown next to a few (which are greyed out and not available without Pro). If not you are done.

Aperture 2.0 Activation Key does not work after using older trial version

I was using the installed trial version of Aperture 1.5+ in my recently purchased MacBook Pro Duo (December 2007). After using the trial version for 30 days I debated whether to take the plunge ...and then within a few days recieved word that v2.0 was out at 199$. That motivated me ...however, here I am nearly one week later without ability to activate a full blown version of 2.0.
I recieved the activation key, but it doesn't accept it in the dialog to upgrade in the trial version. Hint seems to be that it is not a serial number I am entering but an activation key.
I did not order a boxed version, so what do I do now? Support is not too helpful as I have searched Apple's website and have no clue as to where to go.
Last resort ... I want my $199 back!

Site lost activation out of nowhere - How do I find and enter the activation key through VPN?

I had a message that site comms went down. My clients sent somebody on-site and all is working but the OnPlus agent still shows comms down. I VPN'd in and can get to the web page for the unit but it's asking me to activate it. Is there a way to find the activation key to enter into that field so that my settings, etc. are kept?
Also, has this happened to anybody else before and what could be the cause? Thanks!

Sounds like the On100 has been reset. Did someone inadvertently hold down "Reset" on the device?
The Activation key is located under "Profile>Profile".
I haven't seen this happen to anyone else myself. Could you PM me the site name and I'll see if we can dig up anything else in the logs.
