I tried to create an account using the info of my boss's son. Said "Too young." OK, so then I tried to create an account using MY info, email address, etc., and it still says I'm too young. What they hey?

No, you need to be in a country and have a valid billing address in that country to be able to use a country's store. If there isn't an iTunes store in your country then unfortunately you won't be able to buy any content from iTunes.

Error creating iTunes account in Win 7 PC!

Today I tried create iTunes account in my windows 7 pc. I have apple ID. But don’t have iTunes account to download apps.
Check the screenshots. After logging in I’m seeing the following error. It is telling "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occured (-1202)"
I don’t own any Apple product. But I want to use that apps via iTunes. So I could not able register any product in apple website.
Is there any port problem? I’ve installed Xampp for Windows, Skype, Team Viewer and VMware.

The primary email addresses on iTunes accounts have to be unique, you shouldn't be able to create a new iTunes account with the same primary email address unless the existing account had been deleted (only iTunes Support can potentially delete an iTunes account).
Had you asked iTunes Support to delete your existing account ? If you did then that would also have deleted its purchase history. Or had you changed the primary email address on the old account ?

13 year old unable to create itunes account

My daughter wants to create an iTunes account for herself instead of using my wifes. She has been trying to do this for over an hour with her real DOB and no matter what she does she keeps getting an error message "You cannot create an apple id becasue you do not meet the minimum requirement". When you re-establish the sub-account/email address it will tell you that you cannot since it already exists - but there is an option to re-establish the sub-account/email address by entering the correct password. After I did this, I could manage the sub-account/email address with no problems whether it was in iTunes or in the management of the AppleID settings.

Can't create ITunes Account

Just got a new nano & the ITunes Music Store is not allowing me to create an account. I hit "create an account" then move to the "agreement" page. I click on Agree & then my computer tries to start up a windows program & then can't find it so it closes ITunes! ARGH! I've been trying to get the account set up for 2 nights - ready to send it through a wall. Any help would be appreciated.

Unable to create iTunes account for MobileMe Family sub-accounts

I was wondering if anyone else had encountered this problem. I am attempting to set up iTunes accounts for a family member who has a mobileMe sub account on my family pack. The MobileMe account works fine in all other respects except when I go to iTunes and enter the id and pass word I an taken to the screen to accept the terms of service and select the country (Canada in my case) and all goes well until I have to enter the address and billing info. At that point the system says sorry can't proceed try again some other time. several other times later it still won't work.
Is this a limitation of the sub-accounts on mobileMe?

Problem creating iTunes account

Hi guys,
My friend recently bought an iPod touch 4th generation. But while trying to register the product it keeps asking for the Credit Card details. He doesn't have one. And so is unable to create an iTunes account too. I don't remember using any credit card detail while registering my iPod or iPhone. Is credit card an absolute necessity? Can't we provide details at the time of purchasing any app?

Yeah, that's the obvious solution. The catch is the iTunes problem install is on my parent's PC & the powerbook will be leaving with me after the holidays...
I'm just hoping this problem magically disappears after the holiday traffic disappates. At the moment I'd say that's unlikely simply because of the consistency of the problem: browse the store & everything is quick & fine, hit Sign In -> Create New Account & in under a second the error message pops up. If I attempt to login using my account it pops up the Accessing Music Store progress meter & then gives me the same error message.

Note w.r.t. the Rogers ISP query: Rogers 'fixed' the iTunes Music Store problem a few weeks ago (they either re-configured their traffic shaping devices to not label iTunes traffic as peer-to-peer or they turned them off until Cisco fixed the problem for them) - this problem was affecting me in Toronto. Note that I believe the same problem was affecting BC users as well, though whether it was Shaw or Telus I'm not sure.
