Trouble deleting images in Images Capture if some of them are locked

Hello everybody!
I have a question: whenever I try to delete many images in Image Capture, I often have trouble when one or several of them are locked. The delete button gets deactivated. I know it is a fool-proof feature, but it gets really annoying when I need to delete a sevral dozens of hundreds of images: I have to look through all of them in search of the tiny grey lock icon (that is hard to detect btw) and deselect the one by one. Arh!
Is there a key combo that will override locked items and delete all of the selected items (like hoding Alt while Empty trash) or delete just the unocked items and skip the locked ones without the need to manually deselect them?
Note to Apple – it will be really conveniet, if delete button in image capture will not get deactivated when locked items are selected, but just skip them during delete. At the moment is it Windows-style not obvious.

I've seen this in the past, it was a permissions issue of some kind. Assuming you're on a Mac, you might try running something like Disk Utility and fix permissions. Might fix it.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.

It may be virus, please reset all IE settings and try antivirus and scan your PC. Before that esure that other PC connected to the same internet is able to access the Site which will let you know if this is issues with ISP or not

They will not play because they are protected.
You likely bought them before itunes + (drm free music).

Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

I'm exporting files from a wedding and some of them are below the requested 12mb jpeg. I've shot in raw and have done a little cropping in places. how can I maintain at least 12mb. HELP thanks

Do you know why the images are less than 12MB? Have you used too much NR or cropped them too small or are you resizing them smaller than their native size? Or did your camera have reasonably low megapixels to begin with?
Not resizing smaller and setting the quality to 100 will minimize the compression of the images and maximize their size at their native pixel resolution.
Dialing back on the noise-reduction and/or increasing the sharpness will also increase their size but that may be detrimental to the look of the photo.
If they still aren’t 12MB at their native size and quality of 100, then you can increase the filesize by upsizing them to larger than native pixel dimensions, which seems silly, but if the contract has that stipulation then that’s the only thing you can do.
Having used a larger sensor camera, like a Nikon D800 or D810 is another way to have had larger JPGs to begin with.

Your iPod is designed to sync with only one iTunes library at a time. It will recognize the iTunes library on the new PC as a new library. If you sync the iPod with this new library, all content will be erased from the iPod and replaced with what is in the new library. So what you will want to do is copy everything from the iPod to your new iTunes library on your PC first.

Raw Adjustments - some of them are not showing up?

I have 4 projects that some of the raw adjustments are grey (not active) in; all of my other projects are fine. The adjustments I can't adjust are: sharpening, edges, moire, radius, & de-noise. Camera is canon 5D Mark II. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If they are in photos view then they are in an event unless you have a corrupted library
How are you"merging" the photos?
most common issue is either bad sort (view menu ==> sort events) or bad camera dates
select one and show event to see the event

When synching Contacts from GMail, some of them are missing the telephone number

I synced my contacts from my GMail account to my iPhone through Microsoft Exchange. All the contacts succesfully appeared in the iPhone, BUT most of them are missing their phone number. I already waited for the sync to end, they just won't appear.

I have same problem. I could only see a fraction of my project photos if I browse the Aperture lbrary. It is the same problem when I sync the aperture photos to my iPhone or iPad. I still cannot solve it but I know a way to go around it for your iMovie to see the pictures so that you can work on your iMovie.
Here is the work around:
Export the photos from your album to your hard disk and re-import into your iPhoto. Now you should be able to see those photos that you want to work on in iMovie when you browse your iPhot library.

Depending on your situation you do have external options:
If you are a minor (under 18 in most states..) get your parents involved. Have your parents talk to your antagonist's parents.
If you are an adult, or a minor and the previous suggestion did not work, you can take legal action. There are laws against stalking and harassment. Do not blow this off, do what you have to do to protect yourself.

Problems displaying image in image item

I have some tiff images on filesystem. which i sucessfully loaded into the database and are stored in blob column, thru SQL*Plus. when i tried to view these images in image item on my form, some of them doesn't show up. i checked the the length of the blob column, to see whether the image is actually loaded into the database and i found that the length is greater zero(infact very high). then i tried to load the image, which doesn't show up, from forms by read_image_file, neither it loads the image nor it displays an error.
iam using oracle8i database and forms6.0.
any help is greatly appreciated.

i have tried to load the images thru forms into the database by using read_image_file. but some of the images are not showing up in the image item. i seriously doubt there is something wrong with the image file itself. the image files are in tiff format but saved with an extension .000 file for some reasons. now i doubt that all that images are not tiff files, some of them may be of some other type. bcos when i tried to save one of them as a tiff file it took more space than what it was earlier. after saving as tiff file the form loads the image successfully. is there anyway way that i can load the image in whatever form it is? or is there any way to convert automatically these images to tiff format?

Export Images: many images skipped

I've got a PDF with about 400 images in it, and I want to export them from Adobe Acrobat Pro X. The problem is that many of the images are skipped, and it isn't just the small ones.

This is the first two pages of the PDF, and the images that were exported. The map on Page 1 didn't get exported.
Any ideas?

Eventually I want to print all the maps (actually they are nautical charts) in the document onto seperate A4 pages, expanded to fit the page. Some of them are much smaller than the attached, so being vector diagrams will help. Additionally, I want to convert them to good quality TIFF images for GeoTagging then import into a nautical charting package.

Here are a couple of things:
Frame 0: the pane properties are saved with the file, so once they are set you never need to set them again. Delete the property node and associated constants.
Frame 1:
Shouldn't "Serial#" be a control (and an integer)? You do a complex song and dance to add leading zeroes. Simply format your serial number with format "%04d"
Shouldn't "Operator" be a control?
Frame 2: That loop needs a small wait statement. Since STOP is always true when the loop ends, the later case structure seems unneeded.
Frame 3:
the STOP function seems unneeded. the VI will stop anyway since there is no code left.
never use default tunnels for references.
All your error outputs are "disconnected" and write to the same indicator. Mist likely you'll loose intermediary errors.
Overall, you should use a state machine architecture instead of sequences. It will be much more flexible and will take even less diagram space. The indicators can be outside the state case, so all states can write to them. No locals needed.
