Trouble downloading album from itunes

I'm having trouble downloading an album from itunes... It says an unknown error occured and to check the connection and try again... I've tried a few times. Don't know where to go from here... help???

Is it giving you an error "-9813"? If so, it is a missing or corrupted root certificate. That happened to me with the upgrade to iTunes 7.0.
The root certificates are in /System/Library/Keychains (note: these are not your user certificates, these are the system-wide root certificates).
You can try the following:
open up Keychain Access in yout utilities folder, and select the keychian first aid menu and run "reset my keychain". This will revert your keychain to original defaults, and yes, you will loose any custom keychain items you have added.
You can copy over the X509Certificates file from a backup.
An archive and install will also fix it.

  • Download Albums from iTunes

Download Albums from iTunes d'ont give me the joined PDF file. It's always the same.
And it's not possible to contact the store. Only question with no answer.
I'm very angry and tired with Apple.
And why not french language. ?

I'm able to "re-download" some of them, but not all.
Are the non-re-downloaders "album only" tracks?
If so, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

  • Unable to download album from iTunes Match

I'm facing this problem and cannot find a solution. I just deleted an album from iTunes on my Mac. The I go to my iPhone, browse my albums and I still see it. I'd like to point out the the album is not on my iPhone (I can see the download icon on the right of any song in that album). How can I get rid of it on my iDevices?
    Best regards
    Alessandro

    Hi,
Was the album purchased from iTunes store? If so it will still appear on your iPhone. You can go into iTunes store > purchased and hide album.
If the album was not purchased from iTunes, it should disappear after match has updated on iPhone.

  • Several times I've downloaded albums from iTunes to find that some of the tracks did not get fully downloaded so that the track with skip to the next one. Can someone tell me why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Several times I've downloaded an album from iTunes to find that not all of the tracks were fully downloaded so that some of the tracks will skip to the next one (instead of finishing the song). Can anyone tell me why this happens and how I can fix it?

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the tracks and try redownloading fresh copies.
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

  • Trouble downloading songs from iTunes

Whenever i try to download a song from itunes. after about a minute it says of attemted downloading a thing pops up that says the network session timed out. There's also an error message next to the download that says (err=-3259)

I'm having the same problem with a specific song. " The Little Things " By Danny Elfman. He composed a soundtrack for the movie WANTED. The song I mentioned was at first an "Album Only" purchase but now is unlocked to buy as an individual song. Whenever I try to purchase it it says the network has timed out and I need to check my connections. What's with that? iTunes performing some updates?

  • Can't download album from itunes store

Message pops up when clicking "buy album" on itunes store that indicates a requirement to have itunes version 7.4 or later to proceed. Not had trouble with previous purchases. Don't have the ability to upgrade beyond current version of 7.3 due to Windows 2000 operating system installed on PC. Need recommendation please besides upgrading to XP or Vista.

I am using Windows 2000 and I tried to download the new album by Sia, and I got the same message, that I had to upgrade to iTunes 7.2. Unfortunately when I tried to install 7.2, I was told that it would only work with Windows XP or Vista.
    That stinks!!
I can't believe that Apple would pull something like this! They have to come up with a solution. Bah!

  • Downloading albums from iTunes from the iPhone

i rarely download whole albums, but i did the other night and it only downloaded 1 song at a time. i could have sworn the last time i downloaded a whole album from my iPhone, which was a long time ago, it downloaded 3 songs at a time...am i imagining this?

one thing that might help out.
If you are downloading on itunes, there is a check box at the bottom of the downloads page to allow synchronous downloads. if this is not checked itunes will only download one item at a time.
    Hope this helps.

  • Troubles downloading songs from itunes to ipod mini

After a few months i connected mi ipod mini to my pc, i downloaded the latest i tunes and the latest firmware for the mini.
Then itunes asked me to restore the mini because of a problem, i did and from then on i had a lot of problems downloading music from i tunes to the mini, the few songs i could transfer were downloaded at a sluggish speed and sometimes a windows message appears saying that there was an error transfering data, maybe because of an hardware or connection error.
And also if i disconnect the mini and then i reconnect it again, itunes prompts me to restore it, givin'me no other options.
The mini worked just fine until now.

  • Re-downloading albums from iTunes purchased on iPhone?

    Afternoon all,
I've had a horrendous day, had to restore my iPhone 3GS this morning after it went into permanent reboot. My question is: I had previously downloaded a couple of albums on my iPhone over WiFi, but didn't sync them to iTunes on my PC (only just found out how to!). With the restore this morning, I lost everything, including these albums.
While I know that paid-for apps can be downloaded as many times as you want, is the same true of albums? If I download the albums I lost, will iTunes remember I have already paid for them?
    Many thanks!
    Peter

While I know that paid-for apps can be downloaded as many times as you want, is the same true of albums?
No. You need to request it. Backing up your purchases is your responsibility.
If I download the albums I lost, will iTunes remember I have already paid for them?
Yes, but Apple pays a royalty for each download of them, so they're usually not free even though you've already paid.

  • HT1473 downloaded an album from itunes and every song is out of sink with its title, HELP

downloaded album from itunes and the songs dont match the title, help!!

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past purchases, delete the current copies from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.
The above should sort you out but the forum you wanted was iTunes > iTunes for Mac which won't have been on offer since your were reading a Windows support doc. I'll ask the hosts to move this one just in case you have follow up questions that can be answered best in there.

  • Can't download music from iTunes to iPad mini

    Hi,
I recently bought an iPad mini and I'm having trouble downloading content from iTunes - both new music/films & from purchase history - but I can download apps just fine. It comes up with the following error "unable to download xxx at the moment. Please try again later." I can however download content onto all my other iDevices.
Is there anyway of fixing this problem other than resetting the iPad? Been playing games on the iPad & will lose the progress in the reset process.
    Thanks!

If you are using iTunes 11 go to View>Show Sidebar from the menu at the top of the screen so that you can see the iPad under the devices heading.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on all of the albums or playlists that you want to sync - or the entire library if you like.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
This will probably be helpful if you are using iTunes 11.

  • I've always wanted to obtain and have perfect resolutioned cover art for my albums. I have been and downloaded albums from the iTunes store, and they come with really great cover art. How can I get cover art as precise and clean as the albums have on ther

My problem mainly concerns cover art.
There have been times when I downloaded albums from the iTunes store to find its cover art it is absolutely beautiful, and is absolutely 100% un stretched. Whereas when I have gotten images for a specific album from Google Images it's terribly pixelated and totally disgusting.
Is there a way for me to obtain cover art for my albums that is has clarity equal to the cover art on the iTunes store albums.
Or will it basically boil down to I can only get that cover art by downloading my albums off the store?

The old iTunes libraries do not restore any playlists or song counts.
They should you if you do the roll back properly... Opening files from the Previous iTunes Libraries folder in Windows Explorer simply opens the current library. If you don't see the .itl file extension then don't give your copied and renamed file the extention or iTunes will create an empty library rather than using the renamed file.
If you had a complete pre-problem backup of your library you could restore that. On the assumption that isn't possible I have a script called ExportImport that could in principle be adjusted to save the relevant data from a backup of the library database and then reimport that data into the current library. See this thread for details.

How do I download previously purchased albums from iTunes when the album has either disappeared from my computer or the tunes are not playable?  The albums show as purchased on the iTunes store, but not available to download to my authorized device.  I also have albums that appear in my library, but are not able to be added to my iPod from my computer

When you download something from the iCloud, it is a brand new licensed copy. Your iCloud account just contains a notation that you have this app. It isn't storing an actual copy of the app from your Mac.
