Trouble downloading CS5.5 Master collection Trial

I've tried to download CS5.5 Master collection trial 3 times without success. The entire download appears to finish (blue bar goes all the way across), however it gets stuck there and the time remains at "less than 1 minute." Also, strangely...If you hover your mouse on the left side of the download bar about a .5 inch under the bar you can track the process of the download in real-time. You are able to see estimated time left as well as download speed. Well, when I do this rightttt now...it indicates that I am at 105.66% at a download speed of 788kb/s. Btw, I'm on a 1GB LAN line too...no clue why the slow speed? I've tried to download on Internet explorer and now on Google Chrome. No Clue? Please help!

Did you modify the download location? I would recommend removing the Adobe Download Manager, refreshing the Master Collection download page, and then initiate the download again. This time choosing the default options for save location.

Error When Trying To Download CS5 Master Collection

When I try to Download the CS5 Master Collection Trial, using the downloader provided it only downloads the .exe file but the compressed file is not downloaded. It says calculating time 0bytes out of 276bytes transfer.
If i try to directly download the file i get this error
Access denied due to security policy violation
Reject ID: 4bdb4c37-27-14010a0a-7b6
Any clue what is causing this?
I can download any other suite just fine.

I am having problems downloading the Master Collection trial

Ive download the Master Collection trial for 6 hours. When it finally gets to a "less than one minute" estimate, it just never moves from there. . Sutck for over an hour

Branched out to a new discussion and move to the Trial Download & Install FAQ forum. Which operating system are you using? Where are you choosing to download the install files too? Have you tried canceling the download and trying again while choosing to download to your User folder?

CS5 Master Collection trial download vs packaged version

Hello all,
I was wondering if there are any differences from downloading the trial version of cs5 master collection vs getting the adobe cs5 physical package? excluding manuals and media.
Specifically are you getting all the software in both options?

Oh the trials page Adobe has this in fine print:
*The trial version of Acrobat 9 Pro (Windows only) is available separately for download or with your trial DVD set. A trial version of Acrobat 9 Pro for Mac OS is currently not available. However, the full version of Acrobat 9 Pro for Mac OS is included in the full version of Master Collection available for purchase. Encore CS5 is not available as a trial. Encore CS5 will be installed as part of the trial for Creative Suite 5 Master Collection but will not be available for use until you purchase. The trial versions of After Effects CS5, Adobe Premiere Pro CS5, and Soundbooth CS5 do not include some features that depend on software licensed from parties other than Adobe. For example, some codecs for encoding MPEG formats are available only with the full version of this product.

Error message occurs during CS5 Master Collection Trial Install.

I downloaded the trial version of CS5 Master Collection from the Adobe site. Everything works until after I enter my password to start installation an error message comes up saying:
The Setup encountered and error(-1) during install. Please restart the machine and try again.
I've done that and it still shows the same message! What do I do?

Since CS5 is from 4+ years before the Cloud, this is not the right forum... but I don't really know a correct forum for that very old product
Have you tried to manually update the individual programs?

CS5 Master Collection trial installs without Acrobat on 64-bit?

Hi guys,
This is a bit weird but I installed Creative Suite 5 Master Collection (trial) the other day on my PC (newly re-installed with Windows 7 64-bit) and for some reason there is no trace of Acrobat!
I Googled this yeaterday and found a few other people with the same problem (but cannot seem to find them today). Any ideas why this might be the case?

Before I invested in CS5 I too downloaded the trial on Mac and on PC platforms. I think I remember that part of the stipulation of the trial software was that not all applications will be included and/or fully functional, Acrobat being one of them since you can probably download a trial of Acrobat separately and since Adobe Reader is free. Try to download it separately. Acrobat is the same version 9 that it has been since CS4 which might also be a reason it is not included in the download of the CS5 trial software.

Can't download CS6 Master Collection Trial on WinXP using IE7/Firfefox 14.0.1

Hi,
I've been trying to download the CS6 Master Collection trial on WinXP SP 3 using either IE7 / Firefox 14.0.1 with no success.
Adobe Download Assistant launched successfully and I could log on. However, every time I choose to download CS6, I got this error message:
Error downloading this product (Error 109). Check your network connection or destination disk. You can also use the "Reset product download" button to try to download the product again.
I've tried everything in the faq (e.g. deleting Documents and Settings\<userid>\Application Data\com.adobe.downloadassistant.AdobeDownloadAssistant\Local Store) with no success.
I've 55GB of disk space left, so disk space is not an issue.
Please help!

I have a full version of photoshop on my mac but downloaded a master collection trial, now photoshop will not open because the trial expired.

I had a full version of CS6 photoshop on my macbook and then downloaded a Masters Collection trial a few months ago. Photoshop has been working fine until today when I tried to go on, it told me that my trial was over. I had the full version on my computer before I downloaded the masters collection so I thought it would still work. Is there a way I can fix this or am I out of luck? I really don't want to have to buy another version of photoshop again. (I also have Bridge on my computer too from before downloading the trial and that is still functioning just fine)

Try using the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool to remove the Suite and then reinstall the standalone Photoshop

Where to download CS5 Master Collection in Spanish?

In Agust 2010 I bought the CS5 5.0 Master Collection AOO License E and Acrobat Professional 9.0 AOO License E, both in Spanish.
I recently formated my MAC, and when trying to download the CS5 5.0 Master Collection AOO License E in Spanish, I could only find it in English, Japanese, French and German. (Descargar productos CS5)
Apparently it is not possible to use my serial number with the english version. Where can I find the Spanish version?
I couldn´t find anywhere the Acrobat Professional 9.0 AOO License E. Where can I download it from?

and activate with your serial number.
if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.

Having trouble downloading CS6 Master Collection Download.

It seems that everything is fine until the download is complete. Once file 1 of 2 is 6.2GB (File name MasterCollection_CS6_LS16 (1).7z) is downloaded I click to run and it says "to open this file, windows needs to know what program you want to use to open it...". The second download, 2 of 2, downloads fine and when i double click to run, a notice pops up asking if I want to run this file. I click run, and get error reading "The file archive part of Adobe CS6 Master Collection is missing. you need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe CS6 Master Collection. Please Download parts."

I placed both files into an "ADOBE" folder which I put on my desktop.

CS5 master collection trial with serial number!

So i bought CS5 MC and i have the download one. Its not working right. So i was wondering....if i downloaded the trial and just put in the serial code will i still get everything or will i just get the trial version with stuff missing?

It's not working right is hardly giving us anything to go on.
What I can tell you is that the demo is fully functional and adding the serial number to license it won't fix anything that's broken.

CSX Master collection trial version won't download to my Mac

Here we go again Mac OS X .6 .8. For 2 days I have been trying to download CSX master collection trial version. Now with a total of 18 to 20 hours of downloading time all it happens. But Adobe assistant download says extracting Started extracting last night at 10 o'clock. Now it's 3:30 Friday is still trying to extract so can somebody help me thanks not the greatest typist hoping understand

When downloading please choose the default location of your User folder to download the install files too. The fact you are getting stuck at extracting indicates you have chosen a location which the Adobe Download Assistant does not have sufficient privileges to write too.

CS5 Master Collection Fails to Initialize

Hi,
I am trying to install CS5 Master Collection trial on Mac OSX 10.6.3 but it fails as soon as I double click "Installer.app". I message box pops up saying "Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem." Here is my log file:

Loading CS5 Master Collection onto new Macbook Pro with no DVD drive

I have a complete, legitimate, registered version of CS5 Master Collection. I also have a new Macbook Pro with no DVD drive. I have lost the disk, but have the box and confirmation email when I registered the product, with the key code. This product cost alot of money and I really need to get it onto my new machine. Can I do this without having the additional cost of a new DVD drive? I already paid for and own the software with keys so it's not like I'm trying to bend anything or do it for free. Any advice would be appreciated thank you.

on italian website www.adobe.it I find trial version of photoshop cs5.
when I try download photoshop cs5 ext, I find italian version.
when I try download cs5 master collection or other, I don't find it. but only english, french and deutsche language.

It could be the Italian version is ready for posting. This forum is not an avenue to official Adobe tech support. I'd advise posting in the adobe.com forum. The problem can be addressed by Adobe employees that monitor that forum.
