Trouble downloading firefox

I am trying to download firefox from your web site, however I get a warning message saying that my security settings do not allow me to do this, however, I have the site in the 'Trusted' web sites and all security features set such to allow for the down load. I am able to down load other programs. Currntly using IE6 and looking to up-grade.

Or you can try http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/13.0.1/mac/en-US/Firefox%2013.0.1.dmg directly.

Im having trouble downloading firefox from my internet explorer. the icon to down load wont show up.

Firefox basically stopped working. Would not access any web pages. Internet expolorer works fine so this is not a connectivity issue.
I tried to re-intall firefox several times (once w firewall off) unsuccessfully. No error messages. The install wizard runs but then I can't start the program. The short cut icon does not look right. It looks like a web page instead of the firefox logo. When I click it I get the message "windows is looking for Firefox.exe".
It appears as though the exectutable file is not installing.

It sounds like the acorn had a white background that you grouped with the acorn. Hence when you selected another color the entire object looked red. Look in the layers panel for one acorn and see how many objects make up the acorn. One of the objects for that acorn should have a fill of none or white. That object you can delete. Now try and fill the object with a color and see if it is ok. If it is, you can do the same to the remaining acorns. If not post the AI file and someone can check for you.

I am a new Macbook user, I just got a new Air, I am having trouble downloading Firefox, I tried downloading the file from the download section however, I was unable to open the webpage and recieved the following error:

Hi Manu,
The best way to download Firefox would be through the official source at http://www.getfirefox.com. When it finishes downloading, drag the Firefox icon to your Applications folder, and then "eject" the disk image.
Regarding other sites, you may be having trouble due to not having the Flash plugin installed. You can download it at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

I would imagine it's the MyWay Searchbar which is classified by most anti-malware scanners as adware, or even worse as spyware. I say that because I see "SmileyCentral" in your list of plugins and that's an add-on for that particular toolbar. You can disable that via Tools | Add-ons | Plugins.
There are a number of toolbars which won't work with Firefox 4 anymore due to the enhanced protection mechanisms in the browser.
Mozilla recommends that you only install add-ons from its own security site @ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/?browse=featured Generally speaking, those have all been tested and approved. The exceptions are those currently under review which are marked with a yellow banner to warn users that they haven't passed Mozilla's labs yet.

Turn off updating to keep your good working version or you will be forced to use the new version that is missing some well used features.

when i first was asked to download firefox 6 i was told that there was no signature verification so i could not download it. then i tried to download the firefox software manually, when i went to run it the box came up warning me that the publisher was unknown.

Go to www.linksys.com/download and select correct model number and version number. Download the firmware and save it on your computer. Check the file it sould be firmware image file like .bin etc. If it is a compressed zip file extract it to get firmware image file. Now connect computer to router using ethernet cable on port 1. Open setup page of router by typing http://192.168.1.1 in browser’s address bar, and typing password as "admin" and no user name. Go to administartion tab there. Go to fimware update sub-tab there. Browse for the firmware image file and click update. When update completes turn off modem & router. After 2 minutes turn on modem and after 2 more minutes turn on router.

I am often getting this kind of error, although I believe it's less frequent with Firefox 4 than with the previous version. I do not know a proper solution, but I have noticed this:

A pop-up box in the lower right corner of the screen says the download is complete. But a search of the entire hard drive does not locate the files. Check that you do not run Firefox as Administrator.
Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties".
In the Compatibility tab, make sure that Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" is not selected.
You also need to check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program directory.

You can't. There is no version of Firefox for iOS. There are other web browsers available in the iTunes Store if for some reason Safari, the web browser included with your iPad, won't work for you.
