Trouble downloading ios 5 for 3gs
I'm having trouble downloading IOS 5 to my 3gs. What the problem is that it's taking forever to backup my phone as the first step. I know the pop says it could take over an hour to backup. My second attempt was going on 7 hours and still trying to backup!!!!!! I've try again and still having the same issues today... Anyone know why or having the same issues as me???? Thanks!

Put your iPhone in DFU Mode and you can skip the Backup process.

Note: If you entered the DFU Mode you only can Restore your iPhone. Your Data will be lost and you have to put it back on after the restore.

I am having trouble downloading iOS 5 connected to my laptop. Says I don't have network connection but I do. Please help. I purchased tv programs and it is telling me I need ios5 to watch and I downloaded it to cloud but have to have this app also. On my iPad I don't have an updates button under settings like I have seen other iPads have.
You only have the option if you are already running iOS 5 already. If you are trying to update to iOS 5, you have to use iTunes on a computer to update the iPad.

I am having troubles downloading the trial for Adobe After Effect CS6, every time I do try to download this software a grey box appears and informs me that there is a error. What should I do?
The workflow is :

2. Sign in with your Adobe ID
3. Copy and paste the following links on the address bar one at a time and hit enter :

If you typically sync your iPhone to a Computer with iTunes than that would be a good first place to start. As you would know, once your iPhone is connected via the lightning / USB cable to the Computer and iTunes is open you can click on the box that says "iPhone" and you will go to the Summary page on the computer screen and it will say that iOS 8 is available. Just click to Update. After a few seconds it should give you an estimated time to complete the Download (but not the time of the complete install process). Alternately you could just go on your iPhone 5s to Settings>General>Software Update and see if it says iOS 8 is Available to Install. Click to Update and just set the iPhone down in front of you and watch as it goes through the process. Either way should work fine.

I am having trouble downloading an extension for flash, despite having the most up to date flash version for Adobe Manager Extension CC. What would cause this to happen? It says I need to have flash 7 or higher. I have the most update flash available according to my browsers.
If you are using Flash Pro CC 2014, please update Extension Manager CC to 7.2.1. Then please confirm whether Flash is shown in the product panel of Extension Manager CC. If not, please refer to Re: Why can't I see InDesign CC in my Extension Manager CC.

If you mean Siri then that is only on the iPad 3, it is not on the iPad 2 in iOS 6 (possibly because the iPad 2 doesn't have the Audience chip which the iPad 3 does). If there are other things that you think are missing (YouTube has been removed, and Passbooks is iPhone and iPod Touch only) ?

After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains a number of troubleshooting steps and helpful advice concerning device recognition issues:

Follow these steps to resolve your issue:
If you haven't connected your iOS device to this computer before, unlock the device and tap Trust. Learn more about the Trust This Computer alert.
Restart your iOS device.
Restart your Mac.
Make sure that your Mac meets the minimum system requirements for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Install software updates on your Mac.
If an iTunes update is available, apply the update.
Check USB connections. iOS devices need USB 2.0 to work properly. If you're not sure your Mac has USB 2.0 ports, check the computer's specifications.
Disconnect other USB devices and connect your device directly to a USB port on your Mac.
Try another USB cable.

Apple does not support downgrading the iOS. If you try installing an earlier iOS you get the error message. Apple only supports installing/restoring to iOS 6.0.1 on the 4G and 5G iPods.
