Trouble downloading movies due to "authorizing" error

I am having trouble downloading video content from iTunes.  I get the error message that states that the computer is not authorized.  I went ahead and deauthorized all 5 computers that are associated with my account, and then reauthorized the computer.  When I tried to sync again to an iPod touch, I got the same error message.  Help!  I am wondering if there could be a problem associated with another iTunes account on the same computer??

In the course of your troubleshooting to date, have you worked through the following document?

  • Trouble downloading movie trailers through the iTunes store

Anyone else having trouble downloading movie trailers through the iTunes store? When trying to download them I get a "The requested resource was not found error". I'm getting it with the Star Wars 3D and also the Avengers trailer. Seem to be happening more often now and I find if it's happening to others.

I've sent a few emails to the [email protected] address from the Trailer section of the Apple website but still have got no reply back.
It seems to me there maybe a push to just stream the trailers instead of having a physical download in your iTunes library ...maybe? iTunes has been pushing the Avengers as a big event so doesn't make sense to not have the links working properly.

  • Cannot download movie at this time - error

cannot download movie at this time - error
Have purchased movies from itunes adn they show on the ipad with the cloud symbol but will not download to the ipad, the above error keeps appearing??

All things being equal - there is no reason why you should not be able to download the rentals right to the iPad. But things like an interruption in the Internet connection - a hiccough in the connection - could pause the download or cause a problem. You can try to resume the download, or see if you can download the rentals on your computer and then move them to the iPad.
You could try restarting or rebooting the iPad and see of the downloads will resume. You can try signing out of your ID, restart the iPad and sign in again and then try to resume the downloads.
Once you tap on Rent or Install or Buy - the iTunes cash register rings up the purchase so that's a done deal now. You can't cancel it. You can contact iTunes support if the movies will not download and they should be able to get you through it - one way or the other.
    If you need it ....

  • HT4428 Are you having trouble downloading movies.?

I am having so much trouble downloading movies from apple tv anyone else help

I'm not sure how you can determine you have the same problem since the problem hasn't been described, however on the basis of what you are describing, you should try the following.
First you should try logging out of your iTunes Store account (settings > iTunes Store > accounts) and then back in again.
If that doesn't help, try resetting the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings). You should also try restarting your router.
If both of the above don't help, you should try a restore (Settings > General > Reset > Restore).

  • Trouble installing Lion due to partition error

    Hi everyone,
So I don't know a whole lot about computers, and I have had my macbook for a couple years now and decided to install Lion last night. After I downloaded it, I got an error message saying that it could not be installed and I needed to change my HD's partitioning to GUID. The internal HD I have in my mac now I installed myself, and I must have accidentally clicked apple partition map instead of GUID when I installed it, which didn't cause a problem until now (my macbook has an intel processor). So i backed up everything on my HD to an external HD using carbon copy, hoping that I would just be able to reformat/partition my internal HD correctly and move everything back onto it from my external drive. I booted my computer using the external drive, and tried to repartition using disk utility, but I keep getting a partition error message that tells me the disk cannot be unmounted. I got the same message when I tried just erasing the disk first. Anyone know how I can fix this?
    Thanks, and Happy Holidays!!

Try starting from your Snow Leopard Install disc.

  • Trouble Downloading Movies

Sometimes when I download movies, I let the computer download them for a while. When I got back to the computer one day while trying to download a movie, it's filesize went from 1.14GB all the way back down to 194MB. Why is this?
It was so close to finishing too...

Went to rent a movie from Apple on my Apple TV (Not Netflix). I agreed to pay $4.99 to rent a recently release movie. Then the spinning circle appeared and said movie will be ready in 1 hour and 19 minutes. After a few minutes I resigned myself that it would take that long, so I turned off my TV and left it be for 24 hours. Well, when I returned I navigated back to the movie I rented and it said 29 days left to watch the movie. Well, that was fine because I intended to watch the movie by selecting the play button. But to my surprise when I selected the play button Apple TV began downloading the movie again with a message placed back on the screen, "Movie will be ready to plan in 1 hour and 19 minutes." Frustration is the word. Has anyone had this problem with Apple TV? If so what is the fix? Also, if I had known that it was going to take in excess of 15 minutes to down load a movie, I would not have bought Apple TV and stayed with renting DVDs. Waiting in excess of 15 minutes, let alone in excess of one hour is logistically terrible.
