Trouble downloading Music to PC!

Hi!
So I have a 6 month unlimited subscription to Nokia Music. The website gives an option to download songs to PC. For this purpose I have already downloaded the Ovi Music Downloader.
Now trouble is, when I try downloading a song, it gives me this error:
"Connect your ovi Music mobile via usb.
Select either media plaer, media transfer, or Printing and media on your mobile"
The phone is connected to the PC and Windows 8 recognises it as well. Is there something else that needs to be done?
Cheers
A
PS: Apologies if this has been answered before. A quick search through the forum did not lead me to any possible solution.

With my iphone, i have to have the iphone plugged in for the music to show up, as soon as i unplug my iphone its like i have never purchased anything, all the music is gone?
Are you looking at the content of the device rather than the library?

  • Trouble downloading music video/movie

I have no trouble downloading songs, TV shows.....but cannot download a movie concert (download quits after a few minutes) and I get error message (err = 9006) Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks

Although I appreciate that I received a refund for the video I could not play, I'm still disappointed. You (Apple) continue to offer the video for sale yet for some reason I cannot download a working copy after 4 separate attempts receiving the same error message each time. I find this extremely difficult to believe the issues lies on the receiving end due to the fact the other three videos in the release downloaded for me without problems (my version of iTunes is current, I even removed and re-installed as recommended). I have been told twice this issue has been "...submitted for investigation..." yet no resolution to the problem has come forward. I have visited the "Apple Support Communities" as suggested and got zero response to three submissions about this problem...

Since you (Apple) continue to offer this item for sale, I am renewing my request that I receive a playable copy of this video, I'd even be more than happy to pay back the refund. If you stop to think about, I would probably have a working copy in my possession by this time had you sent me via USPS a DVD version of it - after all, this has been going on since the product release on February 4th, more than 22 days ago.
    I want a playable copy - please.

  • Trouble Downloading Music Video

Below is the screen shot of the result of my 3rd attempted download of the same title - Panama by Van Halen off "Deluxe Version of A Different Kind Of Truth". Note the title of the download appears in the playlist with an next to it indicating a lost file.  I can't attempt another download because the system thinks it's complete, it was not an interrupted download.  Does the error code (-1450) mean anything?

  • Since downloading iOS 7, I have been having trouble purchasing music from iTunes Store. When ever I try to make a purchase I always get the message "Your account    is not valid in the US  store"

Since downloading iOS 7, I have been having trouble purchasing music from iTunes Store. When ever I try to make a purchase I always get the message "Your account    is not valid in the US  store" As I am new at this I don't know what I can do to remove this problem.

What country are you in ? If you aren't in the US and the address on your account isn't in the US then try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your iPad and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select your country.

Sounds like you may have deleted something you shouldn't have. Boot to an OS X DVD or a bootable backup, and using Disk Utility, do a repair disk, and while there repair permissions. Disconnect any peripherals, and reboot. If you get the same startup behavior, do a safe boot, by holding the shift key down when booting. If that works, try a normal boot. If neither step helps, you may need to relaod your operating system.

  • HT201272 hi all, I am having trouble downloading 2 music videos. I keep getting the download error 8008. Can anyone enlighten me on how to work around the problem.

Hi guys, I'm havinh trouble downloading 2 music videos. The download starts then stops before it gets going and gives me an error code, 8008. Can anyone help please.

Try the troubleshooting for that error number on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3297
    "Error -50," "-5000," "8003," "8008," or "-42023"
These alerts occur due to timeouts or conflicts trying to write a file during download.
If you encounter this issue while accessing iTunes Store:
See iTunes 9: "One Moment Please" or "Error (-50)" message when accessing iTunes Store
If you encounter this issue while while downloading something from the iTunes Store:
Delete your iTunes Downloads folder, located in:
    Mac OS X:
~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Downloads   Note: "iTunes Media" may appear as "iTunes Music. Also, the tilde (~) refers to your Home directory.
    Windows Vista:
  \Users\username\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\
    Windows 7:
  \Users\username\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\
    Windows XP:
  \Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\
After locating your iTunes Downloads folder:
    Quit iTunes.
Delete the Downloads folder on your computer.
    Open iTunes.
Choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.
Enter your account name and password.
If you encounter this issue while while downloading Digital Copies using Windows:
Use MSCONFIG (directions for Windows XP and Windows Vista/Windows 7) to disable conflicting software.
If using MSCONFIG steps resolves the issue, you may want to use the System Configuration Utility to turn on the third-party System Services and Startup Items one at a time (restarting your computer after turning on the item or items) to identify which System Service or Startup Item is causing the conflict.
You can turn all of them back on by selecting the Normal Startup option under the General tab of the System Configuration Utility window, but please note that this may cause the issue to reoccur.
If you are able to isolate the issue to a particular third-party software, you may wish to contact them to let them know of the conflict.

  • Trouble Downloading my music

I just bought 8 items from Itunes, 2 of which are songs the rest were videos. 2 of the videos came just fine, but the songs are stuck preparing to download (with the diagonal bars across the status bar). I've left Itunes on for about 4 hours now and it simply won't download that song, and I don't know how to get it to skip to the shows which is what I really want. I would love some help, either advice to get them to download or a way to skip past them to the shows. Thanks!

I have also had trouble downloading. Since a similar question is being asked above, I'll join this thread.
In my case, I purchased six songs about a week ago. The first song downloaded completely and is now on my iPod. The second song began to download, with the diagonal bars changing to a solid bar and going about two-thirds of the way. The song then stopped downloading any further. I let iTunes attempt to download the song for a long time, but it never did. Since that time I have logged out of my computer, rebooted, logged back in, reconnected to the music store and attempted to download the remaining songs (four are apparently queued up behind the one that won't download), but the same thing happens each time.
I have already downloaded a number of songs successfully in the past, so I doubt it's a file permissions problem (the first download a week ago, which was successful, also makes this unlikely). An important change between when I purchased the six songs and before was that I upgraded to the iTunes on the CD that came with my recently purchased iPod.
I have tried contacting Apple support on this issue, but haven't heard back from them. It might be that I failed to submit the form on the website properly.
    Any help is appreciated.
