Trouble downloading my game

I am having trouble downloading my bejeweled blitz game after doing my customery downloading when asked. I have a 2nd generation ipod touch 32GB. When I delete and reinstall my app, it shows downloading, but when I click on the icon, it pops
up and then immediately goes back into the menu. Someone told me I needed to do another upgrade, but is my older ipod touch
able to accept a better upgrade or do I have to buy a new touch? My other apps are all ok.

This could be because the app requires a higher version of iOS than you currently are running. Check the app in the store and see which version it requires. Then see if you have that version or higher by going into settings>general>about. If you don't have the correct version plug into iTunes and you should be prompted to update. If this doesn't work or happen your iPod may not support that version of ios and you would therefore need a new ipos I'm afraid. Hope this helps

I agree. I don't rely on iCloud as a backup, that is what I have my portable hard drive for. Its 500 GB so I can hold my entire iTunes library several times over on it. I have all my movies on my hard drive, but somehow "The Mist" got deleted off of my hard drive, so I figured "Well, the option to redownload an already purchased movie is available through iCloud, I'll just do that!"
And permissions and download availability have nothing to do with it, the movie's still there, it still allows me to redownload it. The only problem is when I click download, I get that message.
And nobody else uses my computer, but I do have multiple accounts authorized on it. Even still though, I am attepmpting to download it through the account I purchased it under. :/

Trouble downloading files?

So, recently, I've had trouble downloading things. I bought Avatar and then it game me an error message "All downloads and file copies have been paused. The disk you are attempting to use is full. Removing files and emptying the Recycle Bin will free up additional space." But the thing is, I emptied the Recycle Bin and have deleted various files on my computer, yet it keeps giving me the same message, help?

If you're talking about WoW, it's already playable in Lion, just download the latest version. If Warcraft 3, as I said, it's probably never going to be updated by Blizzard at this point. It's a very old game and would probably not earn them enough to be worth the expense.

To download and install an app the iPod needs storage available equal to about three times the file download size.
If you sync from your iTunes library less storage available is required.

I'm not 100% sure of how this works - but it works something like this -You typically need twice the amount of space required and maybe even more to allow the download to "expand" when it completes. Like on a computer, the download size is smaller than what the finished size of the app will eventually be, so even though the download is only 300 MB, it may expand to a size that exceeds what space you have left.

I cannot download certain games because I do not recall the answers to my security questions when it asks if I am 17 years or older. In fact, I do not even recall being asked these security questions.

If you don't have access to your rescue email account, or you don't have one on your account (an alternate/secondary email address is a different setting/address), then you will need contact iTunes Support or Apple to get the questions reset (you won't be able to change/add a rescue email address until you can answer 2 of your questions)
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to update/add a rescue email address for potential future use
