Trouble downloading the app manager
I'm getting an error message saying the sevrer is not responding in a proper manner and to please retry in a few mintues. I have retried many times. What do I do? Is Adobe experiencing problems?
If you look on the adobe site it has the contact details for the region. I am in NZ and it gave a support number right down on the bottom of the page when I scrolled right down. It ended up somewhere in the US or other call centre. Really helpful.
We have an outsourced IT company who then spent 2 hrs on the phone with Adobe trying to sort it out. We had the ports right. I ended up testing it on my laptop at home, not using our server and worked a treat first time. It is our ridiculously over zealous firewall as Adobe had told our IT co.
Try at someone else's place perhaps, on their wireless or something, or another laptop and get your IT co or yourself to check you have the right ports.
best of luck, annoyed me senseless. Spent the whole day yesterday wasting my time thanks to our IT company.

anyone have trouble installing blockbuster on-demand app on Mac. My mac downloads the app but i can't seem to find the dowload file in my macHD folder so that I can install the app. I have the OSX version 10.6.8
Where are you downloading the app from?
The only one I can find is for iOS based devices > Blockbuster On Demand for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store -
my copy of acrobat corrupted so i uninstalled it - now I cannot download a fresh copy as my app manager says i already have it - every time i try to click the download button app manager opens, and has no feature to reinstall - please help, how do i do a manual install?

Using ipone4s, since update to IOS6 I cannot use "search" in the App Store. I deleted an App because I was have trouble activating certain features since the update to IOS6 - only to find now I cannot download the App to use AT ALL. ???????

I am using PC, Windows 7, updated to iTunes11.0.
purchased an app from iPad Mini for free, and then when I open iTunes in windows, it automatically try to download the app, and freezes.
I am not sure what is the problem behind, but the crashes certainly slows down my computer ( i7 quad core, with 3GB ram, after crashing it is slower than a P4 computer....)
Is it possible to Not Sync the app into itunes?Did you manage to get it working mine disappeared after I while I managed to download it but now my laptop/iTunes won't recognise my iPhone!

I just had to do a system recovery and as a consequence, I lost an app that downloaded. When I open the app manager it says the app is 'installed' so won't let me reinstall it. How do I change this?

I have full membership to CC and have been using it for 4 months. Randomly Photoshop stopped opening jpgs, so I uninstalled and re-installed. Photoshop then stopped working all together. I signed out of the app manager and when I signed back in all my info was gone and only "TRIAL VERSIONS" of CC apps were available. I paid for this software. I need to be able to download it again.

Iv downloaded the 0845 wizard from the App Store. Registered my details and it has been working. But for some reason it won't let me log in and keep saying failed every time I try to use it. Iv deleted and re-downloaded the app and it still says the same?
I would say to start by looking on their web site... unfortunately, that appears to be dead.
Based on the horrible ratings on the App Store (1 star for the current version), I'm not surprised it doesn't work well. -
I'm so frustrated and in desperate need of help, I don't know what else to do! Certain apps such as Tumblr (I've previously had the Tumblr app on my phone) and Vine will NOT dowload on my phone. I've tried deleting all apps from both my iPhone and iTunes, I've tried restoring my phone then backing it up, I've tried downloading the app from iTunes while my phone is plugged into my computer, etc. When I search the apps in the app store they show up but the 'FREE' button is white and unclickable, it's very frustrating. When I download it from iTunes while my phone is plugged in I can watch it download, but when it's done it immediately dissapears from the screen and from my phone. When I plug my phone into iTunes it say I have the Tumblr and Vine apps, but I assure you, I do not. I have deleted and tried to add them so many times but it never works. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!
Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

I have bought a new macbook pro retina 13. I am not too familiar with Mac yet. I had an apple account with my iphone 4 which I stopped using a month ago. Now when I was trying to download the apps from that account but I dont know how to do this and I am unable to do so. I would be grateful if anyone can advise me with regards to this?
You cannot download the same Apps that you have on your iPhone. They are two seperate stores.
The store you have on your iPhone is the same for any iDevice (iPad, iPhone and iPod)
The store on your MacBook is only for Macs.
