Trouble downloading updates to CS5

I had to rebuild my Windows 7 64-bit Dell workstation and reinstall Adobe Master Collection CS5. Tried to install updates using Adobe Application Manager and updates are unable to install. Following error message appears:
"There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later."
I know product life cycle is at end but is there any way to get updates and bug fixes for my re-installation?
thanks.

Hi,
Please try to apply the updates manually. Product updates

  • What to do about an "error downloading updates" to CS5

After a system restore in Windows 8, I reloaded my CS5 program, but components of Camera Raw were missing, specifically the horizontal, barrel, and vertical lens corrections.  When I try to download updates to CS5, it appears the updates are down loading, but at the end I get only an error messagin saying updates failed to download; try again later.  Any suggestions?

  • Cannot download updates to CS5

I have a valid license for CS5 extended.  I successfully reinstalled the product on a new pc, but have been repeatedly unsuccessful in updating the product.  Every time I try to download updates, they all appear to process.  However, I then get an error message that says download unsuccessful, try again later,  The error says if you need further help, contact customer service.  When I open that link, I get a page that talks about an incorrect serial number.  Any ideas?

You can try to download the updates manually and then try to install.

  • Trouble downloading updates to iOS4

Hi, I have been trying for a few months now to download & update the latest software to my iPhone 4 but everytime it gets right to the very end, an error message (err = -3259) appears saying that my network connection timed out and to check network settings????
How could this be possible and how can I fix the problem?
If anybody has experienced the same problems or knows how to overcome them, your assistance would be GREATLY appreciated.
    Thank you

    Hi,
I am facing exactly the same issue. My new iPhone OS version is 4.1(8B117). Three times the update got to 1 sec remaining and network error crops up.
I've tried removing iTunes and reinstalling it without any success. Now I am not even able to connect to the update server.iTunes tells me that I am not connected to the internet. Funnily I am able to browse the app store and download apps. Disabled antivirus/firewall and tried to reach the update server without luck.
Ran diagnostics which tell me that
    -Network interface verified
-Internet connection failed(followed DNS flushing as suggested by help)
-Secure link to iTunes stores verified
I am able to browse to the internet using my browser.
Can anyone suggest what might be the issue which is preventing me from updating my iPhone?
    Thanks

  • When I try to download updates for CS5 I keep getting a message to close Adobe Bridge CS5

I installed CS5 last week and am having two problems:  1.  When I try to download the current updates, I get a message telling me to close Adobe Bridge CS5 (Bridge.exe)   2.  When I tried to uninstall CS3 I get the same message.
The problem is....Adobe Bridge is not open.  How do I correct this problem?

SG got it right.  Terminate the Adobe process(es) and you'll be able to install.
I'm starting to wonder whether there's a systemic problem with Adobe CS5 processes hanging around after the apps are closed, though this could be unrelated to the problem I have where Photoshop itself hangs around.

  • Trouble downloading updates through CC for CS6 - Error 207

I have recently installed a legit volume-licensed copy of Adobe Master Collection CS6 on 10 laptops for my school. After some troubles updating the CS6 applications on these laptops, I downloaded and installed Application Manager 8.0 onto these laptops and then upgraded to the Creative Cloud desktop software and updated the software through that on 8 of these laptops and it worked fine.
But I have 2 laptops which I cannot update at all:
Laptop 1 - I have Adobe Application Manager 8.0 installed and upon opening it up to try and update it to the Creative Cloud software, it simply says it cannot update to the Adobe servers to update.
Laptop 2 - Does not have Application Manager 8.0 installed so I am trying to directly install the CC software onto it from a local setup file, but every time to try to run the setup file it hangs on 'Initializing setup' and then gives Error 207 - cannot connect to Adobe servers.
I've done some research about the problem and tried the following:
    - Disabled anti-virus software
    - Run as admin / use admin user account
    - Tried different internet connections in different locations (school and home - both wired and wireless)
    But neither will update.
It's odd that the other 8 are fine but these 2 are giving me problems.
Any help appreciated - if you need any more information please let me know!

Update: Just uninstalled / reinstalled CS6 on the laptop which I cannot even install Creative Cloud on and I am getting the same error again. Think I must just give up with this machine now unless anybody has any suggestions.
Here is a screenshot of what I am getting from the laptop which cannot connect to Creative Cloud to install:
The other machine I have which had troubles updating Application Manager 8.0 appears to be working now and the updates for CS6 are being installed through Creative Cloud as I type this. This machine wasn't working at school on Wi-Fi but it is at home on Ethernet so it seems happier at home.

  • Can't download updates for cs5

I am registered with CS5 and all apps were re-downloaded yesterday.  When I try to update there are 3 updates that fail.  After Effects 10.0.2, Bridge 4.0.5 and Ext Mgr 5.0.   An error comes up after the update appears to have downloaded and says downloading failed and to call customer assistance.   Customer assistance says they can't help with CS5.  Go to the forum.    (Nice)   david

Thanks guys.  That worked.  If I tried to update through the various application's through the "help"/update heading about 5 applications needing updates would pop up.  Then when trying to download those updates an error would come up.  By downloading manually through Adobe.com I was able to update all the applications that needed updating.  So thanks for the tip.    FYI however - If I go back into the application's help/update heading they still show as updates being needed, when in fact they have been updated and verified - For whatever reason.    But anyway I am good to go now.

  • Trouble Downloading Updater receive error message OVER and over again

Hello! I have that little folder picture on my ipod and when I went to the support site, it said that I needed to download the updater. I signed in and clicked download. The next thing that happens is that I get this message:
Our apologies but there was an error with your session (perhaps you were away from your computer for a while). Click here to return to the download page. It happens over and over again and won't let me download the updater. I have a Compaq Presario V2000 laptop with Windows Xp. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I hope this is the right forum to ask this

Is your iPod connected while you're trying to download this file? If so, I'd try a different approach. Turn off your computer to get rid of all temporary files. Then, when you reboot, download the updater file to your desktop. (When the file starts to download, tell it to Save to your Desktop--it shouldn't "Run"--it should "Save" and then you can click on the down arrow and choose desktop.) After the download completes, then hook up your iPod and try to update it again. Is it successful now?
If you can update your iPod, save the update file to your computer, incase you have to go back to this version at some future point. Right click on the desktop icon and send the file to your preferred storage disk.

  • Trouble downloading updates

I just bought a MacBook Pro and I'm just trying to the first step of downloading all the updates. For some reason, it goes through the downloading process and at the very end it says, download cannot be completed because a file was corrupted. but it doesn't indicate what file was corrupted. I've tried all different combinations of the 14 updates. Can anyone provide insight?

Repair permissions and restart your computer.  Download 2-3 updates at a time.  Repair permissions and restart your computer after the installation.
I just bought a MacBook Pro
    14 updates.
I find it hard to believe that a brand new MBP has 14 updates!
