  • I have just re-installed CS6 Master and it would only doewnload 1gb of the 3gb  of updates before it refused to download the remaing 2.2gb because it couldn't update the Application Manager. WHY? It was updating okay before I re-installed it.

Further, it sends you top the Analyser which is no longer supported and it sends you to a page for CS6 which refers you back to it at the bottom. THere was no reference to Application Manager in the log file, only Extension, Restart and Font managers.

Eventually found the patch  on Google Search. Its in CC and includes the CS versions.ApplicationManager8.0_all.exe

  • Trouble downloading updates through CC for CS6 - Error 207

I have recently installed a legit volume-licensed copy of Adobe Master Collection CS6 on 10 laptops for my school. After some troubles updating the CS6 applications on these laptops, I downloaded and installed Application Manager 8.0 onto these laptops and then upgraded to the Creative Cloud desktop software and updated the software through that on 8 of these laptops and it worked fine.
But I have 2 laptops which I cannot update at all:
Laptop 1 - I have Adobe Application Manager 8.0 installed and upon opening it up to try and update it to the Creative Cloud software, it simply says it cannot update to the Adobe servers to update.
Laptop 2 - Does not have Application Manager 8.0 installed so I am trying to directly install the CC software onto it from a local setup file, but every time to try to run the setup file it hangs on 'Initializing setup' and then gives Error 207 - cannot connect to Adobe servers.
I've done some research about the problem and tried the following:
    - Disabled anti-virus software
    - Run as admin / use admin user account
    - Tried different internet connections in different locations (school and home - both wired and wireless)
    But neither will update.
It's odd that the other 8 are fine but these 2 are giving me problems.
Any help appreciated - if you need any more information please let me know!

Update: Just uninstalled / reinstalled CS6 on the laptop which I cannot even install Creative Cloud on and I am getting the same error again. Think I must just give up with this machine now unless anybody has any suggestions.
Here is a screenshot of what I am getting from the laptop which cannot connect to Creative Cloud to install:
The other machine I have which had troubles updating Application Manager 8.0 appears to be working now and the updates for CS6 are being installed through Creative Cloud as I type this. This machine wasn't working at school on Wi-Fi but it is at home on Ethernet so it seems happier at home.

  • Can't trigger LR CC download because Adobe Application Manager keeps quitting.

I recently updated to Mavericks, I have CS5 package installed since it came out, now wanted to update LR and Photoshop to CC. Can't trigger the downloads because Adobe Application Manager keeps quitting. How do I get the dog files????

I can think of a few things to try:
Download and install the latest version of CC Desktop from:
    https://creative.adobe.com/products
Update it until there are no more updates to CC Desktop.
See if that fixes the problem with AAM quitting.
If not, then maybe uninstall everything from Adobe using the normal OS uninstall process, then run CC Cleaner, then reinstall just CC Desktop and PS-CC:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
Before uninstalling it, check your PS-CS5 to see if there are any plug-ins, presets, or other customizations that you want to make note of so you can replicate or update them for PS-CC.

  • I can't update my application manager.

I have a one year commitment with Adobe and I can't update my application manager to download another program that I need. How can I solve this problem? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Which operating system are you on? Which program are you trying to download and is it listed in AAM? I ask because Premiere Pro and After Effects only run on 64-bit systems and Lightroom will not run on Windows XP.
If you are on a 64-bit system running Windows 7 or Mac OS X 10.6.8 or greater than here are the steps to re-install AAM.
Run the Adobe Cleaner Tool and remove the Creative Cloud Installer part of the Adobe Application Manager (AAM). I have posted the steps here with screen shots:
    Mac OS X: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4726312#4726312#4726312#4726312
    Windows: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4726414#4726414#4726414
Then download and install AAM again using this link http://www.adobe.com/applicationmanagerpatch/index.html.
You should then be able to download and install the program you need.

  • Installing Acrobat XI with Application Manager gave error 1624

Installation of Acrobat XI with Application manager gave these error messages:
ERROR: Install MSI payload failed with error: 1624 - Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid.
    MSI Error message:
ERROR: Third party payload installer AcroPro.msi failed with exit code: 1624

    My apologies.
I found a failed installation of Acrobat XI dated  05/2013 .
I downloaded and used the Adobe Acrobat/Reader Cleaner then successfully installed Acrobat XI with the Application Manager.
Thanks for helping me find the fix.

Nothing wrong. AAM/ AUM is just being a pussy. Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, reinstall your apps, try again. also consider downloading upsdates manualyl from the Download section here on this site.

  • Why everytime i try to download/update any application i get error code: 1009

why everytime i try to download/update any application i get error code: 1009 either from App Store in my iPhone or from iTunes???

    Hi all.
I had the 1013 error, have never Jailbroken my phone.
Udating the firmware casued it to go into recovery mode and got stuck in the 1013 error loop.
Tried editing the Host file, new computer, itunes re-install, different USB port, anti-virus off etc, NOTHING was working.
Just as I was tempted to launch it at some unwitting object/person, cancel my contract and defacate on Apple's porch, I managed to sort it purely by restoring my phone without the sim card in.
No idea why, dont know why i havnt seen it mentioned before either. Hopefully it may help some of you in the same situation.
    Thanks

  • How long does it take to download the adobe application manager?

how long does it take to download the adobe application manager?

It will depend on the speed of your Internet connection.  It is a fairly quick and efficient process over a high speed connection.  Downloads are often completed in less than a minute.

  • Several applications stall at 99% downloaded in the Application Manager

I'm trying to download using the Application Manager. Some of the apps have downloaded and installed just fine. But some of them (for example: Premier, Illustrator) simply stall out at 99% downloaded, and nothing else happens. I've tried canceling the download and installing something else (like Acrobat), and that's gone fine. But when I go back to say, Illustrator again, it stalls out at 99% every time.
I'm running Application Manager v7.0.0.324 under Mac OS X v10.7.5

    Hi FransNelson,
Generally Stall @ 99 % happens when the Adobe Application Manager or the Adobe Download Assistant Tries to extract the files . Now during the extraction stage, we require full permissions on the machine as there are several modifications that happens to the files .
My suggestion would be to try and disable your Antivirus(if any), systems firewall(if its activated) and make sure that you are logged in as an admin and then try doing the same process again . If all the mentioned steps have already been tried , then good option to give full permissions to the general Lib (/Lib) and  user Lib (~/Lib) .
Even after this if it doesnt work , then to avoid wastage of time and frustration , my request would be to try the same under your Root Account .
Let us know if this works fine for you or not .
