Trouble exporting and playing in iTunes

Hi, I am new to Logic Pro 8 and I am having trouble exporting. I have bounced two files one as 'wave' and on 'mp3' and neither one will play in iTunes. I also exported 'all tracks as audio file' and none of those would play.
After deleting the files that would not play to start over again, when I start logic pro it says it cannot find the audio files I exported and none of the tracks will play.
If anyone has any ideas on these problems I would greatly appreciate the help! Thank you so very much!

1. you must use file- bounce menu of Logic
2. If you use only ext. midi not software instruments - you must rewrite them as audio tracks at first.

can iTunes Playlists be exported and played from a USB drive or an SD card in Ford Sync ? I've been racking my brain trying to get playlists from itunes onto a flash drive and/or SD card to play in Ford Sync. It seems the playlists are "empty" and not associated with any corresponding music files. Sync responds saying "playlists are empty" ?
The only "work around" I have been able to do is create separate folders on the flash , and name the folders for each corresponding playlist and copy and paste the appropriate music into the appropriate folders. The limitation being Sync can not recognize folders by voice commands. It recognizes voice commands for playlists, but apparently NOT iTunes playlists ??

I have a 5th gen ipod and recently all of my video podcasts stopped showing up in my ipod. They still show up and play in itunes, just not in my video podcast list on my ipod. All of the podcasts are Quicktime Large.

The ipod touch has a port for plugging in earphones, that can also be used to plug a stereo into it.
Now somebody just has to make an app for using on ipod touch or iphone to plug directly into the stereos input

Tv shows show up and play in itunes but only one episode makes it to ipod?

My itunes purchased tv shows show up and play in itunes. As far as my ipod, only one episode will show up under tv shows. The other episodes don't show up under movies either. Can someone please help me? Strange that 1 of the episodes will show up on ipod but no others. They were all purchased on itunes.

Check your sync preferences.
There are now options to sync only watched / unwatched episodes, for example, which may be causing this.
Connect the iPod.
Wait for iTunes to recognize it.
Click on the name of the iPod.
You'll see your Summary page open up in front of you.
Click on the tab for TV shows and set it how you want.
Do this for all of the other tabs concerning file types you want on your iPod.
Then, click the Apply button (lower right-hand corner)
iTunes should now update your iPod preferences, and also the files on the iPod.

IPod Touch 4G - Trouble Syncing and Playing Through Other Speaker Systems

I can open iTunes and listen to music just fine on my computer, but when I plug in my iPod Touch 4G, an error comes up. At first, iTunes would simply crash and it would give me the generic "iTunes has stopped working, we we will notify you if we find a solution." type of error, but now it says "The software required for this iPod is not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes to install the required software." From what I've read online, reinstalling iTunes rarely solves the problem. I've done a soft reset on my iPod a few times as well.
Since this started happening with iTunes, my iPod also won't play music in my car through the built-in AUX cable I have, and it won't play music through an iHome either. It will charge when plugged into any of these things, and play music out of its own speakers, but that's it. Any help? I don't really want to pay Apple $30 to tell me how to fix it.
Everything is up to date; iPod on iOS 5.0.1 and iTunes is on 10.5.3.3

How do i prevent an mp3 downloaded in Firefox from automatically importing and playing in iTunes?

i download a lot of music from blogs, most of it is indie label or no-label and can't be purchased from the itunes store. anyway, using firefox, when i download a track it saves it to my downloads folder and then itunes automatically imports the file and starts playing it.
needless to say this is annoying. i'm usually doing other stuff while downloading and i don't want itunes opening on it's own and playing songs while i'm busy doing other things. also, i prefer to move the files into itunes manually.
i feel like this should be simple, and maybe it is, but i can't figure it out. how do i keep this from happening? anyone?

Trouble importing and playing video in Lightroom 5

I mainly use Lightroom for photos, but I do use it to organize my videos. Lightroom 5.3 on a Macbook Pro running OS 10.9.2.
Videos from all of our iPhones import and play perfeclty.
Video from the Nikon D90 will import sometimes, but will rarely play. You can scroll across the preview icon and see the video, but when you click on to play it, it will only play a few seconds of the video but will continue to play the audio.
I have converted the .avi files to .m4v in order to play in iTunes and Apple TV. I've tried importing the .m4v files to Lightroom as well but always get an error: "Connecting to dynamic link server failed."
Not sure what is going on or what I may be doing wrong. I've successfully imported the videos from the camera to Aperture. Not sure why I can't get Lightroom to work.

Exact same problem as well. When I try to import CDs either in iTunes or Windows Media Player I have problems. iTunes will play a track or two, but usually the imports ring in around 755 minutes and change and are corrupt. Windows Media Player has similar issues.
What's strange is that my drive works just fine for burning DVDs, installing software from disc, or watching DVD movies, so I'm a little in the dark. Any ideas?

IMac G5 - How do all accounts see and play my itunes / music

Hi, This has been frustrating me for a while....
I have 40GB of music on itunes which is on my iMac G5 which plays in my account when I log on the computer.
The rest of my family have 3 accounts on the same computer, all have itunes but non of my tunes show...
How can they listen to my music, this is driving me crazy ?

Library consolidation is really a feature for people that have content scattered all over their hard drive instead of within a single media folder (e.g., the iTunes Music folder). Unless you have media files in multiple locations, you do not need to concern yourself with consolidating. b. If you moved your iTunes folder then hold the option key immediately after launching to invoke the Choose Library window then select the iTunes Library file now located in the Shared folder.
4. Have each of your family members re-launch iTunes in accordance to 3b.
In this scenario, your family members will have full access privileges to the shared library. They will be able to add or remove playlists, change the status and tags for content, add/delete content, etc. From your standpoint, if you launch iTunes as per 3a because you copied your music library, you will still be accessing a private library, while your family will be accessing a shared library with similar content and structure. If you launch iTunes as per 3b, then you will be accessing the same shared library as your family.
*Set Up a Shared Library with Read-Only Access*
1. Quit iTunes.
2. Create a new iTunes folder in ./Users/Shared.
3. Copy or move the contents of your iTunes folder to the new iTunes folder except for the iTunes Music folder. Do not move your media files into the Shared folder.

Again, how you transferred and access the library will determine if you retain a private library. If you moved your iTunes library, then you will need to access the same shared library as the rest of your family. If you copied your library, then you can continue to use your private library and not have to deal with any library structure changes that others have performed in the shared library.

In the past people had reported that the shared library feature in iTunes did not work across user accounts on the same computer. As I do not share my computer, I had no reason to put this to the test. Not being able to share a library using iTunes sharing feature may have changed, as I went into my emergency administrative account to check on something for you and saw the iTunes library from my primary user account listed under Shared libraries in the source list in iTunes on the second user account.
As such, try this first:
1. Go to the Sharing tab iTunes preferences.
2. Enable “Share my library on my local network” and “Look for shared libraries”.
3. Have your family members do the same in their user accounts.
4. Now other user’s libraries should appear under the Shared heading in each of your source lists. +In order for this to (hopefully) work the source and target accounts must be active (do not logout) and connected to your home network.+
5. By accessing your library in this way they can access your playlists and music, but they cannot in any way alter your library.

My laptop is having trouble downloading and playing rentals from the iTunes store, I get a little way into the film and it stops playing and will not download any further. This has happened on two separate occasions, my laptop is under a year old?

I get a little way into the film (just 4 minutes this time!) and it stops playing or downloading. The remaining download time changes continually and will say anything from 6 minutes to 11 hours! My laptop shouldn't be the problem as it is under a year old and I haven't experierienced any other running problems with it... I hope I will not be charged for the film !!

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

Trouble Disconnecting and Playing

I bought my ipod mini about two months ago and it's getting cranky with me now! When I turn it on to scroll through my songs, it displays that they're there, just as I put them, but when you play them, the song is finished in about 1 second! You don't even hear it! When I dock into my computer, using Itunes, it tells me that there are no songs on my ipod. Not 1 of 608 is listed. I have tried re-setting it, but nothing changes! It's a bit frustrating.
It displays a message to check my disk, but I do not have a disk inserted...is this happening because of an old disk I put into the computer?
It also tells me that I cannot disconnect because my ipod is with another application or something to that extent...
Um...I would really appreciate some advice or support. I really don't want to have to pay 40 dollars to call the service center, but you gotta do what you gotta do...

Random Pause and Play from iTunes

Starting from about a week ago. My iTune sometimes randomly play/pauses itself without me pressing play or anything. Even after I quit the application, it starts again. I know my play button isn't mulfunctioning because the same problem isn't occurring with my other applications.
This is getting kind of frustrating, some help please!

When you say they are displaying in your iTunes library, are you talking about the Audiobooks section of your iTunes library and not the audiobooks section indented under the iPod in the left pane of iTunes under Devices?
Is the iPod Shuffle configured to sync audiobooks or do you manually manage the iPod's contents?

Hello I'm having trouble downloading and installing the iTunes program.

Whenever I go to download itunes I receive an error message saying, "The installer encountered errors before iTunes could be configured. Errors occured during installation. Your system has not been modified. Please run the installer again, or click Finish to exit".
Please help me download itunes from here. I've tried reinstalling iTunes like this error message prompts me to do but I keep receiving the same message over and over again. I would appreciate the help in getting iTunes back up and running correctly.
