Trouble exporting in premiere!

Im am having trouble exporting and after effects file out of premiere. It stops in the middle of exporting and  it show in the premiere project window that the files are offline. It isn't getting past 2%. Could my file be corrupted? Please Help.

No thoughts but I generally avoid DL and make digital intermediates for use between AEFX and Premiere.
I trust them and I can manage them.  Never had an issue.
This is still the clue to your issue I think.

  • Both CS6: Trouble exporting to Premiere from After Effects?

Hello. I'd like to start off by saying that I am new to the community and new to using this software, so please pardon if I come off as ignorant. However, I need help urgently.
I am trying to export an After Effects project into Adobe Premiere (using File -> Export -> Adobe Premiere Pro Project). I am coming up with the following error message when I try to open it using Premiere:
"This project contained a sequence that could not be opened. No sequence preview preset file or codec could be associated with this sequence type".
I would think that my Premiere preferences would be irrelevant as I cannot even access them unless I have a project opened. However, here are my project settings for After Effects:
    Time Display Style:TimecodeUse Media Source
    Color Settings:
    Depth: 8 bits per channel
Working Space: none  (could this potentially be the issue?)
    Audio Settings:Sample Rate: 48.000 kHz
All of the video files used are .mp4.
I will be willing to rapidly provide more information if necessary. Thanks in advance for helping out.

    Don't export!
Open your Premiere Pro project, go to File > Adobe Dynamic Link > Import After Effects Compositon. Then navigate to the aep file, select the compositon and it will import the AE link into your pronect bin. Then you can change the file in AE and when you save, the changes will show in PPro. There seems to be a bug with the dynamiclink.exe server that won't show the compositon as rendered on the timeline. I'm hoping Adobe will fix it soon as I've reported it on the bug site.

  • Trouble exporting from Premiere Pro 2.0 to FLV

Just installed Premiere Pro 2.0.  I imported a sample clip (24p HDV from Canon HV20) and am trying to export as FLV.  I did not have Quicktime installed when I installed Premiere, but have since installed QT 7.0 and upgraded to Pro (Probably a waste of money, but who knows).
I get the error "Cannot fine Flash Video export module for QuickTime.  Please install and try again".
OS is XP 64 bit. I do not have Flash installed on this machine.
Ideas?  This functionality is the only reason I went with Premiere over Vegas, so I really, really hope I can get it working.
    Thanks in advance.

    What are your export settings?

  • I am having trouble exporting closed captions from premiere cc 2014.

I am having trouble exporting closed captions from premiere cc 2014. I see them in the program monitor but after i export and try to playback in either quicktime or VLC i get to embedded captions. I eve tried the side car file and embedded with compressor and still nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
I only used compressor because i switched from final cut to adobe. easy fellas!

I have latest QT version, do i need to go back to 7? I have tried VLC also, i usually use that to check CC in mpeg files. I am exporting a QT H.264 for just testing purposes, I need a prores HQ, also this is SD so my sequences are set to 720x486.

I'm having trouble exporting using DeNoiser in premiere. It's playing back fine in Premiere but after being rendered/exported the transitions buzz a bit.

  • Trouble Exporting MXF from PP Cs6

    Hello,
I am having a lot of trouble exporting a sequence of mxf footage out of premiere pro cs6. Whenever I try to export directly from Premiere the program stalls out. I tried sending it to adobe media encoder, which worked temporarily. Now, the sequence doesn't show up in adobe media encoder. I then tried sending turning the sequence into an AE composition, which again worked seamlessly temporarily. I am working with multi-clip sequences and last night I noticed that when I turn my sequence into an AE comp, after effects began referencing the wrong angle. After Effects also began giving me error messages saying that it was having trouble conforming some of the mxf files. Any insight into how I can fix this would be most helpful. I am working on a Mac Pro Ghz-6 Core Intel Xeon.
    Thanks!

What exactly do you mean by "multi-clip sequences." Multicam?
If so, try dropping the same source content into a sequence without any multicam edits and see if that exports. That will help determine if the problem is limited to multicam sequences.
Have you tried closing all the apps, confirming through Activity Monitor that all the processes shut down (including pproheadless and dynamiclinkmanager), and then relaunching the apps? Or simply rebooting the system. This feels a bit like a problem where the initial failure to export left things in a bad state, so that you need to clear the decks.
What are your export settings? Do you have similar problems exporting to other formats?
And just to confirm the reference in the thread's title, you're running PPRO CS6, not CC, right?

  • Why are files going offline when exporting from premiere

    Hi all
I've got a feature length documentary of 2 hours. All files are online but upon exporting from premiere via media encoder the finished file has 'media offline' on some shots. I have NO idea why this is happening. All clips are online on the timeline.
I'm exporting both blu-ray mpeg and dvd mpeg. The project is on an external hard drive. Can anyone help this is a nightmare!?
Will exporting via premiere pro direct fix this problem?
    Thanks

Can't you see how the video is pixelated? Mainly around the nose and forehead?
Nope.  Looks fine when I watch it.

  • Media Encoder crashes when exporting from Premiere Pro

Media Encoder crashes when exporting from Premiere Pro. I am queueing multiple files for export and Media Encoder will crash. The computer system has 32GB of RAM and the videos export fine in Premiere, but that requires exporting each one individually. Each video file is being down converted and some can be quite long (upwards of 3-5 hours). Nothing else is running on the computer that would take up memory.
Any idea why Media Encoder will crash?

    Try turning off GPU acceleration.

  • Adobe media encoder extremely slow VS export from Premiere,Why?

I am exporting a 30 min AVCHD to QT NTSC DV widescreen. When I sent it to AME it was taking an extremely long time,it said it would take 8 Hours! When I put it to export straight from Premiere it only took about 25 minutes.I have CS5 on my laptop and it did not have the same problem when I sent it to AME, it only took about 20 min. I tried uninstalling CS5 and reinstalling but that didn't work. This is frustrating because I need to export a lot of files in different formats. Anyone know what can be causing this
I also tested this exporting in other formats such as MPEG2 DVD and it has the same issues.

If you queue or export from Premiere the resize will be done by the Mercury Playback Engine (ie the nVidia card does that grunt work) which makes it A LOT faster (like 4-10 times).
If you drop a file into AME directly it's done by the CPU.
    Is that what you're doing?

  • How do I export from Premiere Pro CC to Final Cut Pro X?

    Here are my system specs:

Processor 3.1 GHZ Intel COre i7
    Memory 16GB 1600MHZ DDR3

    Hello there,
I have a fairly complex 3:00minute sequence that I want to export from Premiere using XML and then import into FCP X.
I exported and the tranlation error log was too long so I duplicated, shortenened and simplified the sequence and the translation errors seemed much more manageable. I quit premiere pro and ran FCP X. Import->XML And the XML files were all greyed out! I couldnt even select them. I tried compying the entire project file including a copy of the XML into FCP and still no luck. Am I missing something here?

Jim, some people (maybe not that many) are FCP X editors, so it's a good feature.
Also, I personaly find Premiere 10 years back in terms of editing. FCP X in my opinion has more editing features to make my life easy. The last release has also been a great update.
I have been editing in Premiere the whole year 2013, and I can't go back to the "old fashion" editing since i started editing in FCP X. but that's a matter of preference. The problem is that the other editors in my office use Premiere, so XML exchange is a must.

  • Trouble Exporting to PDF

I am having trouble exporting one file to PDF. I try other indd files and they export prefectly fine. Just this one file. When I export it has the message "background task: Failed to export a PDF"
I try couple solution online that I find
    1. Disable preflight and restart InDesign
    2. Add the document to a new book and export from the book panel
The only think that I couldn't try is Disable background exporting.
I am having a little trouble there....I did create an empty ext file and save it as "DisableAsynExport.txt"
but I seem to have trouble going to the folder. It said that you need to go...
    Mac: /Applications/Adobe InDesign CS5.5/Adobe InDesign CS5.5.app/Contents/MacOS/
When I got to Adobe InDesign CS5.5.app it opens the app instead of opening another folder... not sure if there is another way to open it.
So when I go to Mac: /Applications/Adobe InDesign CS5.5/
It has Adobe Indesign CS5.5.app, Configuration folder, Documentation folder, Fonts folder, Legal folder, Plug-Ins folder, Presets folder, Scripts folder and Uninstall Adobe InDesign CS5.5
So I have not clue where the Contents/MacOS is??
Would be best is someone can help me....
    Thank you so much!!!

If it failed from a book, it won't matter if you disable background export becasue books don't use it.

  • Exporting in Premiere Pro with a GTX 980 CUDA takes 4 hours

Okay, this problem has been plaguing me ever since I upgraded to a new PC with some very high end hardware. I'm trying to export a 25 minute h.264 encoded mp4 file from an AVI video and PCM audio source, however, exporting it using YouTube 1080p preset takes over 4 hours. This used to never happen before, even on my old laptop which had a GTX 675M card and would take 1.5 hours at most.
The source files I use through video capture is AVI with MPEG-1(VBR) 1920x1080 resolution with 29.97 frames/second. The audio source is PCM WAV 48.0KHz stereo.
The preset I have for exporting in Premiere Pro/AME CC 2014 is:
video: h.264 format, 1.0 square pixel, 29.97 frames/second, Progressive scan
    bitrate: VBR(1 pass), target/max: 8.0 Mbps
    audio: AAC 192kbps, 48kHz stereo
The hardware I am using is a Gigabyte x99 ud-4 motherboard with G.Skill Ripjaws 16GB DDR4 2400Mhz RAM, i7-5820K CPU 3.30 GHz, Windows 7 64bit OS, with an Nvidia GTX 980 card with CUDA enabled in both Premiere and the Nvidia Control Panel. Yet, I am still getting over 4 hours rendering time during my exports for a 20-30min video source? I  am completely stumped on this and it's unbelievably frustrating to see my top of the line system take so long to render this file when my 2-3 year old laptop did the export in 1/3rd of that time? I do this as a hobbyist and any help on trying to get this fixed would be a major help to me. Thank you in advance!

    Hmmm...
I did a quick test in your behalf with a test project with and without "alpha glow" applied to all of the media.
The results were actually kind of strange:
    - export to .mp4 utilized all cores (6-core box w/ Hyperthreads) with a smooth 82% utilization for the whole export; memory usage (also from task manager) went up and once it hit a maximum, it stayed there
    - export to .mp4 with "alpha glow" applied -> CPU usage started out pretty good, then memory usage maxed out and then actually cam down; after a bit, the CPU usage stabilized at around 22%, or about 25% of what it had been at the start of the export
Smells to me like an Adobe bug or design-flaw.
Anyway, good luck with your testing.
I totally agree with Bill's suggest to do a full PPBM7 test on your new rig and report the scores back here - and to the PPBM7 site of course. This will help you to have confidence in your new hardware and setup. Once your hardware and configuration (for Win7, drive caching, Premiere settings, etc.) are working fine, then your particular workflow, etc. can be a separate troubleshooting step.
    Good luck!
    Regards,
    Jim

  • Trouble exporting interactive pdf´s

    Hi!
I having som trouble exporting pdf from indesign cs6 using the interactive export option. In short my goal is to export a magazie file, about 80 pages to a pdf using srgb color space and medium res images to use on a website. I have previously used the interactive option in the export dialog box, since this option converts the file to a web freindly file. Now this crashes indesign. On page 64 everthing stops and I have to force quit ID. This have worked before, but now I have experienced the same problem on two different files. Does anyone have any clue to why this happens or any suggestions to a work around?
    Thanks, Rune

This usually indicates theres a problem with something on a page. You can often isolate it using a divide and conquer strategy. Try exporting the front half of the file and the back half  as separate PDFs. If either half fails, divide that in half and repeat until you are down to one page. Do the same with the objects onthe page (though it usually turns out to be an image).
If both halves export OK initially, then it's a problem of machine resources. Combine the two halves using Acrobat Pro.

  • Exported from Premiere as NTSC, but Encore thinks it's PAL - Help!

    Encore 3.0.0.268
    Source video: AVI, 29.97 fps, 720x480, 32kHz 16-bit stereo
Exported from Premiere Pro to Encore with the following settings:
NTSC, 720x480, 29.97 drop frame [fps], Lower, Quality 4.5
    48 kHz, 16 bit, PCM
VBR, 1 Pass, Min 2.02, Target 4.78, Max 7.00 [Mbps]
But!... when I open the project in Encore, it only lists PAL options. For example, if I try adding a menu, it adds the PAL version instead of the NTSC version (which does exist in the Library folder). If I remove all the PAL menu files from the Library folder, then it doesn't list any menus at all for this project (except a couple HD ones) - ie, it's ignoring the NTSC menus.
Also, if I look at the Transcode Settings, the only choices are PAL.
NOTE: I already have NTSC set as the Default Television Standard in Encore General Preferences.
Why does Encore think the video is PAL? How can I make it think otherwise without redoing the whole export in Premiere?

  • Export to Premiere Pro from Audition has stopped working...

    Hello guys,
When I've finished an edit in Premiere I send it to Audition via Edit>Edit in Adobe Auditoin>Sequence.
But when I've finished in Audition and try to send it back via Multitrack>Export to Premiere Pro (sent as each track as a stem), Audition processes the session and then tries to send it back to Premiere.
The screen jumps back to Premiere as usual, but instead of seaing the pop-up window to insert new tracks as it should do, nothing happens. I've ran lots of tests to see what is going wrong, and can't find it. Somewhere on the journey into Premiere, the process stops and I really, really liked this feature.
Can anybody shed some light on why this has suddenly stopped working? I have made no changes to the installation of either Premiere or Audition, and neither have any plug-ins or extras.
    Hope you can help,
    Thanks

    Hi,
I have the same problem to import files from audition. It save the work in .xml what I can load in premiere but automaticly it will not work.
