Trouble getting into iTunes Shopping Cart

Everytime I try to get into my iTunes Shopping Cart, I get a message that "The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable". However, when I try to add a song that I know is already in my shopping cart, it acknowledges that the song is already there.
I also have no trouble browsing songs in the iTunes Store.
Any ideas???

Usually you get this message when you install a version of iTunes which is earlier than the version you used to create the iTunes library file.
You get this situation when downgrading.
Could you clearify your situation, are you using iTune data copied from a previous computer and also which version you installed?
Assuming you are using old data, something quick you can try is to drag iTunes Library.itl and iTunes Music Library.xml from your iTunes folder to the desktop, then try starting iTunes. It should start with an empty library. You can then add your music files in the normal way. If you want to recover playlists, the librayr can be recreated fromt xml file as in the Apple article:

If this is a completely new installation of iTunes without old data from another PC, then that's somehing different and I am not sure about how to deal with it at this stage.

  • I can't get into iTunes or apps on my iPad or iPhone. It never excepts my password and tells me to reset my password. Well I have changed my password about 15 times and still I have trouble entering iTunes or apps.

    If you are able to Get into iTunes Store without any problem then Try Logging in to your iTunes Account.

    For some reason I can not access my iTunes shopping cart. It shows me how much money I have to spend, but I can't see any of the songs that I have added to the shopping cart. Has anyone ever had this problem? Please advise ASAP. I'd like to buy some music.

    If your getting some error message Id recommend emailing the music store about this issue, as USUALLY issues with the shopping cart are caused on apples side. you can goto the link below, roll to the bottom and fill out a email form to the music store

  • BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB does not get populated with shopping cart

    Hello Gurus,
    We are facing some weird issue out of blue. We have SRM 5.0 Classic scenario with ECC 6.0 backend system. We have everything configured and it was working i mean shopping carts were successfully transferring into ECC system as PR.
    Suddnely now we are getting error Item in transfer process for all the shopping carts. While checking into RZ20 monitor it shows following error " Backend application errors: Shopping cart  (PReq. 7000027359): W5 002 No items exist (not possible to save)".
    When we put debug in CLEAN_REQREQ_UP we found out that table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB which should get populated whenever shopping cart is approved it not getting any data.
    Could you please let us know what could be the reason? As all the user IDs with which RFC's are maintained at SRM and ECC level active and all proper authorization are there.
    Please advise.

    Hello Ritesh,
    Actually, the document tab is updated by the SC transfer (SC spooler). Each time the system starts the shopping cart transfer, an entry is created in BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB until the CLEAN_REQREQ_UP is executed.
    You could debug the shopping cart transfer and check if the follow-on document is being created.
    Also, you could check the SPRO customizing -> SRM SERVER -> Techcnical Basic Settings -> Set Control Parameters, and check its value.
    As additional information, you can check the note 1173815, which provides some information regarding the follow-on document creation (customizing tables).

    You need to restore the iPod on the new computer. You can only sync apps (and some other stuff) from different computers/libraries but you can manage music and some other stuff among different computers/libraries.
    You need to restore you iPod and see the following regarding the pairing error message.

    You need to follow the instructions in this article that best apply to your situation:

    If you do not have a backup in either iCloud or iTunes, then you will have no way to retain the information on your device because you will have to restore it in order to access it again.

    Place the iPod in Recovery mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes.

    I'm having a very similar problem.
    I'm based in the U.K. and am trying to publish an iBook through the iTunes bookstore. I have made my book in iBooks author 2.0. My iTunes is up to date.
    When I try and publish the iBook I have passed and ticked the Pre Publish Check; and the Create Account, but when I try and download iTunes Producer through iTunes Connect I'm told "Your Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Content."
    When I try and re-set my iTunes Store account I'm told "The iTunes Store Account has already applied to distribute content on the iBookstore." Of course it has I just did that.
    If I try and sign in to iTunes Connect through the Publishing pane I'm told "Your ID or Password was entered incorrectly." Even though I've just used it to sign into iTunes (and here), so my password and Apple ID work fine elsewhere.
    Is my access to the iTunes Connect being delayed while my submission is processed, i.e. the processing of my tax and account details? Or am I stuck in a loop?
    If this is still processing (I started this 20 hours ago) I assume that I have to submit the book itself when I can download iTunes Producer at a later date, as I haven't submitted the book yet?
    I emailed the problem to iTunes Store and was refered to [email protected], only for them to say they don't read or reply to emails sent to that address??????
    I'm not sure which part of the process I've reached - if any. I feel I'm in limbo. I have an iBook ready to go - but where is Apple?
    Any help would be most welcome.
