Trouble getting new service to show up in context menu

I've created a new service in Automator. It takes selected photos from iPhoto and creates a Power Point slideshow from them.
It works when I run it from within Automator, but does not show up in the Services menu within iPhoto.
It's pretty straightforward. Here's a screenshot
However, if I select photos in iPhoto and go to the services menu, there is nothing there. Going to the system prefs pane, I see that the service is there and checked, under the Pictures heading.
Any ideas?

I have an older IPOD classic that I'm having trouble getting new purchases from library to IPOD. I use to have a IPOD icon in the source list on the left side of the screen. Now that is all gone. My purchases are coming up as recently purchased but can't figure out how to get them transferred to IPOD. I also can't find how to confirm setting is for manual not auto sync as the first computer I had blew up and am now using a different one. I haven't had any of these problems prior to the updates.

As an avid flight simmer I bought a new soundcard my previous was
an audigy 2 platinum ex with an external module I really liked but somehow all of a sudden I was getting a screech when using FS9 sor I opted to change to the present. Well stone the crows my soundcard was auto updated with new drivers and well you guessed it the soundcard did not show in the sound video controllers window No I have just joined this forum and it looks like3 you may have the answer for me . I am now going to do as you suggest and see what happens.
I shall return with the outcome of my dilemma.

In Firefox Nightly (what will become Firefox 20), per-window private browsing has been added, so the menu item under the Tools menu is gone. It's been replaced by New Private Window under the File menu. I don't suppose it's very likely that you're using such a cutting-edge test version of Firefox though.
If that doesn't solve the problem, since it's a different issue, it would be best if you would ask a new question.

Trouble getting new app to logon to BOEMembership Provider

Hello. I am trying to create a separate website to work in conjunction with our InfoView site. however, I'm having trouble getting the BOEMembershipProvider to logon. I've been able to get the EnterpriseSession member to log on (verified through the CMC's Settings/Metrics screen), however, how do I get the BOEMembershipProvider to log on? I was hoping to use this to help with the searching through all the infoobjects - like the queryfilter for the BOEHierarchicalDataSource...My development pc is Windows XP sp2, I'm using Visual Studio 2005 C#, with the CR XI R2 sdk. I've double checked my web.config file to correspond to the documentation from BO's website, however, we use WindowsAD plugin for security for most of our users (with single sign-on), and Enterprise security for a few others. When I try to set the authentication="secWinAD", I receive the error message "Requested value 'secWinAD' was not found. (C:\IGS\IGSReportServer\IGSReportServer\web.config line 44)". If I change it back to 'secEnterprise', I am able to get the 10% of users logged on to the BOEMembershipProvider. Here's what I have for the web.config... <membership defaultProvider="MGBOEProv"> <providers> <add applicationName="IGSReportServer" connectionStringName="cms" enableCookies="true" authentication="secWinAD" name="MGBOEProv" type="BusinessObjects.Enterprise.Providers.BOEMembershipProvider" /> </providers> </membership>so my question is, why is the authentication not working? I do have the BusinessObjects.Enterprise.Providers and the CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.Auth.secWinAD references in the app - am I missing something else as well? There's a known issue with .NET Provider logging on using Windows AD authentication. It's described in Knowledge Base4789956 on the BusinessObjects support site.

Trouble getting new computer to be the main library w/o clearing everything

I got a new computer with Windows 7 on it...my other one is a Vista (which has the main iTunes library)...I can get Home Group to work for the two computers...but I am having trouble getting the new computer to be my new main iTunes library...it says I have to transfer purchases or clear everything...I just want to move things from my iPod to the new computer's iTunes...must it be so difficult??? I don't see why this must be so hard...the computers both have authorization.

iTunes will only give you the option to copy your iTunes Store purchases directly from an iPod to the computer, you'll find details in this article: iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
For everything else (music from CDs, other downloads etc) there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. You can read reviews and comparisons of some of them here:

Trouble getting new Apps

I'm having trouble getting more apps it know asks me to sign in and verify my payment info when I do it then says the payment is declined and this is happening when I'm trying to dowload the free apps I haven't even tried buying any yet?

maybe you have entered the wrong details in your credit card or it is already expired. Even though its a free app and will not charge you anything, it confirms thru your credit card.

Cant get Time Machine to show in the WiFi menu

I have had the Time Machine for a while but have just used it as a backup hard drive but plugging it into the ethernet port. I have never got it to act as a router or even to show in the WiFi menu. I have followed the standard steps but it just does not show in the WiFi menu. Any help much appreciated!

Factory reset the TC and start over.
It should then appear under the wifi as default wireless name.
Click on that and it will open the airport utility so you can do the setup.
The Factory Reset Gen1-4.
Unplug your TC. Hold in reset. and power the TC back on.. without releasing reset for about 10sec. When the status light flashes rapidly; release it.
Be Gentle! Feel the switch click on. It has a positive feel.. add no more pressure after that.
TC will reboot after a couple of minutes with default factory settings and will wipe out previous configurations.
No files are deleted on the hard disk.. No reset of the TC deletes files.. to do that you use erase from the airport utility.

View Source not showing up in context menu?

Yes I did choose to allow view source during the release
build. I also uploaded the source folder to the server. I can
manually go to the view source folder and it is working fine, only
thing is, the option is not in the context menu of the application.
I suppose I can add it there myself but I thought that was
automatic?

SIM not provisioned usually means that the 3G service has not been set up yet. Have you set up the service through the settings menu?

Trouble getting iPod touch to show new version of iTunes when I connect to iMac

When I connect our ipod touch, itunes message pulls up and says it cannot be used because it requires iTunes version 10.5 or later and to go to itunes to download. I have done that and restarted all devices, but it still brings that message up everytime I plug it in. What do I need to do?

Sharing iTunes btwn two users -- getting new music to show up for both

I'm setting up a new PC with Windows 7 and, at the same time, setting up two new iPhones. In trying to keep my wife's iPhone linked to her Apple ID and my iPhone to mine, I followed the directions here -- http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1203 -- and set up iTunes on each of our Windows user accounts and put the iTunes Media Library files in a public location we can both access.
My problem now is, when one of us adds new music to iTunes (to the shared, public folder in Windows), it doesn't automatically show up in the other's iTunes library. I know that I can manually go in and use "Add File/Folder to Library...", but, is there a way to have this happen without user intervention?

The TC has no media smarts at all.. none.. it is completely dumb stupid hard disk in a router.
If you put libraries on the TC apart from being slow.. because all files must be transferred via the Mac running itunes you then have no backup and no way to backup your files.
Get a large external drive or get a proper NAS with built in iTunes server. (although exactly how well they work I am not sure).
You still should not put your main iphoto library on the NAS but you can put a copy.

How do I get new Artwork to show on iPhone?

I've been updating my Artwork Covers in iTunes, but literally none of the songs that already had ones are showing the new ones. I remembered when I would download songs, and since I have iCloud the songs automatically show up but the covers wouldn't be there, so I would load the song multiple times and they would eventually show. But this is not happening. Please help, I don't wanna different covers for every song on iTunes and my iPhone.

How do I get new fonts to show up in Reports?

I can't get my v10 reports to display MICR font on the server.
I have a MICR font that I installed without issue on my PC. When I write something in the 10.1.2.0.2 Report Builder, it comes up in the MICR font without issue. We have a Windows server AND a Linux Server, and I installed the MICR font on both machines. When I open Paint on the Windows Server, I can write in MICR font, so I know it is installed. However, when I try to run either report from the menu, the MICR font does not display.
For the Windows server, I just moved the MICR font to the Fonts folder.
For Linux, I ran this:
cd usr/share/fonts
mv /home/oracle/mid/forms/v10suite/micrenc.ttf /usr/share/fonts/micrenc.ttf
ttmkfdir > fonts.dir
fc-cache
/etc/rc.d/init.d/xfs restart
Please help!

Some time ago we had the same problem on a Windows-Server. A simple reboot of the server fixed it for us.
Remember this though: When you open the generated PDF (I just assume that you generate PDF through reports) on a windows-PC without your MICR-Font installed, it will not show!
For this to work you have to use either „Embedding“ or „Subsetting“. Both is explained somewhere in the report-sever documentation.

Anyone else having trouble getting new version of Flash to work w. Safari?

I read on the TUAW.com site this AM that Adobe released a new version of Flash Player (8.0.24) that closes a security hole. Keeping a security hole around doesn't sound like a great idea so I went to update.
Well after updating Flash Player on my MBP I get a missing plugin warning with Safari. The new version works find on Safari on my old PB and also with FireFox on my MBP. So seems this is either a problem with the Universal Binary version of Safari or it's just a funky issue with my MBP.
Anyone else having this problem?

If you're using the iPhone as recommended, your contacts are stored in a contact manager application on your computer, such as Outlook or Address Book. Your contacts reside safely there, and will synch back to your phone.
If you didn't do that, your only hope is to restore your new phone from your old phone's backup to get those contacts back.
