Trouble getting started with Creative Cloud

After my trial ended, I started a subscription to Creative Cloud. Various apps show they are updated but where are the downloaded apps? I can't find any of them to launch. The trial was so easy.

Which operating system are you on?
On Windows you should be able to launch the programs from the Start Menu. On Mac OS X you should be able to launch the programs from the Applications folder. The Launch links in the Adobe Application Manager (AAM) are just a convenience links to use after the initial installs. After AAM is restarted those links go away.

    I would like to join Creative Cloud for Photoshop only, but I have this application already on my iMac.

    Hi Potnpan,
    Yeah, you can have a desktop subscription to Photoshop CS6 independent of your exisiting license. The subscription would allow you to install on two more computers, that would allow you to install on a total of four different computers.

  • Trouble Getting Started With Flex

    I am trying to go through the tutorials that come with Flex
    Builder 2 and cannot get any custom components to work. Projects
    that have custom components defined in them compile OK but I get a
    run-time error: Error #1009 Cannot access a property or method of a
    null object reference...
    It works OK when I open the .swf file but fails when the .swf
    is embedded in an html wraper.
    If anyone has some idea of what I am doing wrong I would
    really apreciated hearing it.

    When you sign in and go to the Apps page https://creative.adobe.com/apps you should see Download links for the various desktop applications such as Photoshop. When you click on a Download link the first time you should be prompted to download the Adobe Application Manager. Once you have done this you can either click on a Download link in the browser which will open the Adobe Application Manager and install that application, or you can open the Adobe Application Manager from you Start Menu (on Windows) or from your Applications folder (on Mac OS X) and then click on the Install link for the application you want to install.
    If clicking on a Download link is not installing the Adobe Application Manager, you can get it from one of the following links:
    Windows: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773
    Mac OS X: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774
    Once the Adobe Application Manager is installed you might need to restart your browser for the Download links to work on the Apps page.

    There is no such thing as "monthly payments" for the obsolete and unsupported Photoshop CS3+—and there never was one.  Did you mean Photoshop CC (a.k.a. Photoshop 14.x)?  If not, please elaborate.
    If you downloaded CS3 Extended, you're never going to get it to work with a subscription model serial number for Photoshop CC.

  • Trouble getting started with AX

    I'm sorry if this issue has been addressed early; in perusing earlier posts I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.
    I have purchased an AX and want to inlcude it in my home wireless network, which uses a Neatgear wireless router. I've plugged the AX into the wall and get a blinking amber light which I believe means it cannot find a connection. When I go into the Airport Setup Assistant I only get information about Airport Base Stations - no apparent way to set up the AX.
    So, my question is how do I proceed?

    Problem solved. I moved to a machine connected wirelessly and through some trial and error was able to get thing set up. I have to say this is one of the less intuitive things Apple has done (but it works great, including using Airfoil to send non-iTunes music to remote speakers).

    Anyone else haveing trouble with Creative Cloud not opening? All I get is the splash screen and the :loading: symbol that keeps going around and around---forever.
    This just started ---.
    I am running Windows 8 on an i7 machine with 16 gigs of RAM. My internet connection is good---all other internet access opens just fine.

  • Is anyone else having trouble with Creative Cloud Tonight? ALLLLL Applications are down. None are working.

    I have verified with at least 5 other people that all their applications are down and no one can sign in to the creative cloud on their desktop. I am experiencing the exact same thing. It started with Lightroom and then just stopped. I was able to just log into photoshop, but i can confirm lightroom is def not working any longer after the upgrade 2015 the other day. its horrible.

    I can still launch applications, but for some reason the CreativeCloud app is hung on a network request.
    I was able to force quit the Creative Cloud app, then relaunch it, and it is working.
    Lightroom and Photoshop launch, but LR is hanging for about 20 seconds in the splash screen (when it normally does not).
    So yes, there appears to be some sort of network/server issue with Creative Cloud right now.
    But I can't find any errors listed in their status pages, so it may only be a slowdown due to a network issue outside the servers.

  • Can I get product key for older versions of Illustrator with Creative Cloud Student and Teacher edition

    I have purchased the Creative Cloud Student and Teacher edition and I now need to install illustrator on Windows Vista. All the new versions are not available for Vista. I have managed to find older versions for download but it is asking me for a product key. Is it possible to get the product keys for older version with Creative Cloud Student and Teacher edition?

    You cannot purchase older versions of Adobe software thru Adobe.  If you have a full subscription you can acquire the CS6 version  thru that.  I have had CS6 running on a Vista system for years without problems.

    I was about to update the newest update with Creative cloud, - but it suddently stopped, - and it has not started again. And the program Audition was not finnished, - there was a notice to stop something,  like "i.... manager "(I can't remember) , - and I close that. And then everything stopped to update. What shall I do?? See printscreen
    It is 10 hours since this happend, and still it won't update? It still says: Waiting....
