Trouble hooking up tp itunes !

For some reason my iphone wont hook up to itnues even with wifi connection.
I need help !

Is it your home WiFi, or somewhere public? I ask because some public WiFi providers require you to "agree to their terms" via your web browser before you are actually connected. For example, a free WiFi service at a hotel...turn on WiFi insettings and it finds the provider, and I choose it. The WiFi fan symbol shows on my phone, but until I open Safari (which automatically takes you to their terms and conditions page) and click on "I agree", I cannot access anything via that WiFi connection, including the iTunes store. Took me forever to figure that out but once I did it made sense.

Make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes, 11.1.4 on your computer. If you recently updated, there have been some issues with the latest verison of iTunes and Windows. I attempted to update my iphone 4 from the settings on my phone to the iOS6 operating system. After doing this and the download appeared to be complete, my screen showed the itunes hook up. I hooked up to itunes, it said that my phone needed to be restored. After trying to restore it, itunes says an an error occured and my phone could not be retored. Now itunes won't recognize my phone! My screen now shows the iphone circle, but it isn't moving. I have hit the power and home button and it doesn't seem to work. What now??

I have had my ipod touch 4th generation for a couple months now.... Nowhere in the manuals or help sections does it tell me how to make individual pucture files(like that already on my computer) put onto my ipod touch.... I managed to make one and I can't remember how I did it but when I have the touch hooked up to itunes and try to pick which picture files from my computer to sync, a box always opens and says that it will delete everything in the original photo library that was in there.....
Can anyone help me there has to be away, I know someone has done it but they don't live here to show me!!!!

where on my computer am I suppose to make the individual picture files and have them to upload on my ipod touch.... I do have a photo library on my computer, but in the photo tab in itunes for the ipod touch and there is nothing checked for syncing, cause when I do check it it always says its going to replace everything i have in my photo library on my ipod touch..... So how am i suppose to have it checked and have it NOT replace pictures on it????
Also I cannot make more photo albums into my ipod touch, it just replaces the one album every time....
I am very frustrated cause I have tried the manuals and the apple support help etc and nothing pertains to my exact issue.....

TS1363 just did an update on my daughters ipod and now it says to hook up to itunes with the icon and when i do its not detected any help

im just trying to update my daughters ipod and now its not being detected by itunes when i try to hook it up after the update it said restoing itunes the it showed the icon to hook up to itunes so when i did nothing no ipod detected so i diconectend the usb and reinserted it and still no ipod detected any help

Try connecting the iPod to iTunes in recovery mode and restoring it again. Use the instructions in this Apple support document to get the iPod into recovery mode.

You may not really be connected to your WiFi network.
Your router may not have given your iPhone a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the "i" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPhone (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.

HT1414 I got an iPhone 4, at the store they transferred all my stuff from my iPhone 3GS. Everything came back but my music; so I hooked up to iTunes on my computer and hit 'restore' to last backup to get my music. But then all my recent stuff disappeared!

.... everything came through when they transferred my stuff exept my music.
So I hooked up to iTunes at home and restored to get my music. The problem is,
it restored to last backup which was April 2012, now I lost all the stuff from then to now!!!
Very frustrated! Can this be undone?? All I wanted to do was put my music on.

You restored to a backup. Backups do not contain music since it is presumed to be saved in your iTunes library. See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4946
You should have synced rather than doing a restore.
Presuming that your music is in your iTunes library you can put it back on your iPhone by syncing with the proper music selected in the iTunes Music tab.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

The pictures that are on your phone, that you don't want, did they appear there after syncing with iTunes? Or were they taken with the iphone's camera?
Pictures synced from iTunes have to be removed by syncing again, but not having those pictures checked under the Photos tab in iTunes.

What country are you in ? If you aren't in the US and the address on your account isn't in the US then try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your iPad and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select your country.

Managed to get the installation sorted. Go to Control Panel, and where you have a list of all installed programs, repair all the Apple/Itunes related programs. Installation worked fine after that. Hopefully it helps you out too!

I have the same problem, but discovered I can 'gift' itunes. I can't update my itunes version because my operating system doesn't support it and I can't update my operating system because my laptop is too old. 2008. have rebooted, retried, done all I can think of... still not working. Waiting for I support to respond.
