Trouble in the configuration of a PCI-6013

I´m triying to get the MAX to recognize my PCI-6013 but i haven´t been able to get the DAQ board configured. I installed the package included with the board that contains LabVIEW 6.01 evaluation software and NI-DAQ 6.9.Of7 repeatedly, and then installed the board in a pci slot for several times. WindowsXP recognizes new hardware but when i try to install it no driver is found. I tried it whith the NI-DAQ 7.0 and the board got configured, but when i run a program i developed with the same board in another pc (and it worked perfectly) y get a 10001 error, something about wrong string orther or something like that. I thouth that maybe it had to do with the wrong channel definition (i did it as virtual channels, for an analog
input and 8 analog I/O). Well, i would like to get the sistem going with the NI-DAQ 6.9.Of7 since it worked in the past in another Pc ,or some hint in why i get that error working with the NI-DAQ 7.0. I would really apreciate any help, and thank you in advance, it´s nice to be able to rely in someone else with more knowledge and that is willing to help the others. Thank you again.

I am not quite sure why the disk which shipped with your PCI-6013 included version 6.9.0f7. The PCI-6013 is one of our newer boards, and as such, is only supported by NI-DAQ 6.9.3 or Traditional NI-DAQ 7.0. These are the only two versions of the driver which will support this board.
Traditional NI-DAQ 7.0 and NI-DAQ 6.9.3 are completely compatible. The VIs which you will use in LabVIEW to program your PCI-6013 are the same. Both of these drivers are available for free download from our web site.
As for the -10001 error you are receiving, usually this has to do with an error in the channel string applied. Please see the following Knowledge Base article on our website for more information on this error.

Clearing configuration FIFO on PCI-6013

I am writing a driver for a PCI-6013 for a legacy DOS based system. Everything I need is working except that I cannot clear the configuration FIFO so I can change the channel setup during use. According to the E-Series RLPM writing a 1 to the Write_Strobe_0 register (windowed write) will do this. As far as I can tell this has no effect at all. Is it possible that there is something in the STC setup that is preventing clearing the config FIFO or might this be something unique to the 6013?

Ni PCI 6013 syncronization

I wonder if you can help me, i want to give the PCI 6013 I/O card a reset signal every 1 second. Is it possible in anyway to do this. I aim to syncronize a few of the cards i am going to use in a measurement campiagn with the help of a GPS SYSTEM. I would appreciate it tremendously if you could give me any suggestions on how i can accomplish this, with the use of your PCI 6013 I/O/ card. I am using Labview 7 to do the measurements.

Another suggestion. If you are wanting to synchronize the analog inputs with the gps digital signal, an easy way to accomplish this would be to use the gps digital signal as an external clock for the analog input operations.
If you use a digital signal as an external clock, you will acquire one reading from the channel(s) in the scan list everytime the digital signal has a transition. This would create an easy way for the gps signal to set when you are actually reading data. Take a look at the LabVIEW shipping example 'Cont Acq&Graph Voltage-Ext Clk VI' that illustrates how to continuously acquire from analog input channel(s) using an external clock.

Having trouble restricting the restore function on an iPad through Apple Configurator
I cannot find the setting the allow/disable this feature.

Configuration profiles do not allow you to apply a static IP address to a device.
Instead, it would be highly recommended to configure static IP addressing within the DHCP server itself. This would accomplish what you want without worrying about which proifle goes on what device, etc. Configurator can also export the MAC addresses to make life easier in setting this up.
Right click the 'All Devices' in the Supervise tab, click Export Info > Device Information > WiFi MAC Address.

I don't see SIMYO anywhere on the list of supported carriers: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1937
Unless you're talking about a carrier on this list, you're going to have to work it out with them. It's possible their network is just not compatible. They are definitely not a supported carrier.

Does the late 2013 imac come pre-configured with a pcie internal drive or just "support" one?

Im looking at buying the new Imac. Is it just configurable after purchase (which no one would do given the complexity and cost and voided warranty)? There is no option to select pcie configuration during purchase and the language "The updated iMac now features support for PCIe-based flash storage..." from the official press release is vague.

The September 24, 2013 iMac press release states:
"The updated iMac now features support for PCIe-based flash storage that makes Fusion Drive and all-flash storage options up to 50 percent faster than the previous generation.*"
The Apple iMac page says the hard drive is:
Configurable to 3TB hard drive, 1TB or 3TB Fusion Drive, or 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of flash storage.
The Apple Mac Pro page says the hard drive is:
PCIe-based flash storage
Configurable to 512GB or 1TB2
So… does the iMac use PCIe or not. Perhaps some iMacs do and some don’t and Apple doesn’t want to say???

Troubles with the creation of New Custom Adapter for NW 7.1

I have see in the nwa if there are some applications or services that are stopped but all the necessary it's started, just one question : in the pdf for upgrade from 7.0 to 7.1 no one speaks about ejBean or about a creation of it ... it's necessary an ejBean ?? JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file /common/bc4j.xcfg in the clas

I m trying to insert into the database from a form.My action class is given below.The application compiles okey, the else option works fine, but during the if option I get the following error:
oracle.jbo.JboException: JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file /common/bc4j.xcfg in the classpath
But I checked to see that the file is in the correct class path.What are the other reasons for the error to hapen?Please anyone!!

Can I use Labview real time with PCI 6013?

How much does Labview real time cost?
Do i need to have some additional hardware to use labview real time with PCI 6013?

You can not use the PCI-6013 board with LabVIEW Real-Time.
We offer three platforms for LabVIEW Real-time. PXI embedded controllers, 7030 data-acquisition plug-in boards (7030/xxxx) and FieldPoint. For more information on these options go to www.ni.com/products and then choose Real-Time from the menu on the left. There are PCI versions of the 7030 boards. Each 7030 board has a data-acquistion board attached to it (6030E, 6040E or 6533). When you embed a LabVIEW Real-Time program on the 7030 you will be able to access the daughter board. You can not access other boards from the embedded program. If you want to use several daq cards in your real-time system I would recommend a PXI chassi and PXI daq boards.

PCI-6013 intermitant bad counts good after hardware reset

I am using a PCI-6013 board to two edge separation counting into 10 bins over 1 second. Most of the time the counter works great but some of the time I get garbage data eg 0,6050955,6050951,0,6050944,6050954,0,6051007,0,6050951. The counts are coming from a PMT that has a max linear response of 1,000,000 counts per second. Each data point represents 100ms of counting. Powering the PMT off and then on has no effect. After restarting my program the reponse returns to normal until the counts freak out again maybe 20 minutes later. Does any one have any ideas why this is happening?

What two signals are your trying to perform a two edge separation measurement on? What do you mean by bins? What language are you doing this in and can you post your code?

Defining a RESTful svc with delimited params using the "Configure HTTP Svc" wizard in FB 4 beta 2

I am using Flash Builder 4 beta 2. I would like to create and configure a RESTful HTTP service that uses delimited parameters. The instructions here,

However, when I follow these instructions by specifying a URL to an operation, including the delimited query parameters for the service operation inside '{}" braces, the Configure HTTP Service wizard does *not* populate the Parameter table with the parameters enclosed in "{}" braces. Further, even if I add the parameters manually to the Parameter table, the requests go out using the URL encoded string literals (e.g. "http://restfulService/%7Bitems%7D/%7BitemID%7D") rather than with the parameter values passed to the service request method.
As I'm new to Flex, I assume I am doing something wrong. I have searched the forums and the bug database for some insight into what might be my problem, and I have not come across anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the info. From a comment I posted in the corresponding documentation (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Flex/4.0/AccessingData/WSbde04e3d3e6474c4-668f02f4120d422cf08- 7ffe.html#WSbde04e3d3e6474c4-757e06e1253c6333fe-8000), Randy Nielsen of Adobe contacted me and has requested that I (AT&T) be able to participate in the private beta program. It's my understanding that I would need to be in this program in order to run the latest build. I will have to work with AT&T Legal on the NDA so that may take a little while.
To help me refine my Flex/FB 4 issue investigation technique, I'm curious : Is there a trouble report that references this problem? The closest one I could find was this one which seemed to suggest that no parameters would work and was entered against Gumbo, Beta 1: http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FB-21146.

Having trouble getting WDS configured

I finally had some success last night with a base station that I've been having trouble being able to get connected to the network. I set up WDS and was able to see the base station on the network, but for some reason the main base station would not accept the configuration and lists one of the base stations that I'm trying to use as a relay as unavailable. What would be the cause of this? I am able to see the base station on the network, but since I can't save the base station config. I lose the base station I'm trying to get to work from the network. I also can't seem to get the e-mac to have a valid DHCP address. It keeps being assigned a 169.xxx ip address. I feel that I'm close to getting connection, but I need a bit of help understanding what is going on right now with not being able to save the info to the base stations I'm trying to set up with WDS.

If you are using Airport Extreme and Airport Express base stations here is the step by step.

If you are using 3rd party Routers to accomplish this you will need to refer to there paperwork to accomplish this because the settings will be different, Take special interest at the bottom in NOTES.

CUPC - CTL does not match the configured TFTP servers -- need reset!

Hi,
i have trouble with CUPC 8. Presence 8.0.4. I tested all things, but i'm unable find solution.
Client say: Phone initialization has occured. CTL reset required.[1002]. In the core log from the CUPC is:
provider-runner] [ConfigService] [CUCMConfigSubService.updateCTL(633)] - CTL does not match the configured TFTP servers -- need reset!
but i don't know which CTL, and why CUPC use CTL for accessing tftp. I'm not using secure connection to the CCM.
Solution from release notes:

Some details for my trouble. Integration from CUPS and CCM from system troubleshooter is ok.
CCM has device type CUSF. But CUPC is not able connect to this softphone. CUPC client show error message from my first post. And in the core log from the CUPC are messages about softphone and downloading configuration file, but tftp connection failed. Log contain messages: Supplied TFTP address 192.168.10.3 is not in the CTL. // CTL does not match the configured TFTP servers -- need reset!
(same situation with hostname of CCM)
From release notes and description of this situation I tried erase old configuration from PC, but nothing change - same trouble.
Has anybody some idea, which CTL is used for authenticate tftp.
