Trouble in using element.tlf_internal::getEventMirror(), examples needed !

Hi,
     I have struck in the using element.tlf_internal::getEventMirror().addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, regionClickHandler)
     for a couple of days.
     I have Adobe Flash Builder Beta 2, with new version of TextLayout Framework, but still encountered such problems, i found many people could solve this problem.
     So whoever did this before, offer me a solution !!!   Or a good running example is also good

I would suggest looking in TLF's LinkElement class to see how it is used there... perhaps that will help.

I need to have a GOOD Video tutotial on using Elements 11 Magic Wand.
I use Windows 8 onmy laptop. I can't find any good tutorials for Magic want that shows the process to remove backgrounds that works! None of the steps I've seen work for me. HELP. I've wasted a full day trying to find some good videos, which Adobe DOES NOT HAVE on this subject. What's up with that?

Why liquid cooling? You want more noise and more power consumption and higher expenditures, without lower temps?
Corsair Hydro coolers do not give better cooling performance than air coolers from Cooler Master or Noctua, nor do they run quieter. They are only more expensive. Don't forget that air coolers in push-pull configuration have two fans, that are replaced by two fans on the radiator when using a Corsair Hydro. Unfortunately, the Corsair fans are pretty noisy, thereby defeating the intention of water cooling to make things more silent. Effectively, one replaces two fans with an average noise level of 25 dB with two radiator fans with 35 dB. If the cooling performance was better, that extra noise might be overlooked, but that is not the case. Up to around 4.8 GHz overclock, the performance difference between air coolers and Corsair Hydro is negligent. So, if you opt for Corsair Hydro coolers, you don't get better cooling, you do get more noise, more power consumption (because of the waterpump) and you spend a lot more.

Why do I need to be signed into my Adobe ID to use Elements Editor?

Everytime I use Elements Editor I am automatically logged onto Adobe.   Why is this when I always thought Elemens was a Stand Alone piece of software?

Did you use migration assistant to copy over programs, documents, and settings? You can't do that with PSE. Elements is not a tidy package in accordance with the apple developer guidelines. The installer strews stuff all of your hard drive in place the migration assistant isn't programmed to look and you can never hope to find all h the bits. You must always install PSE from scratch on a new machine. By attempting to copy it you have made a lot of trouble for yourself.
You will need to download and run this:
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
and then you can go around and manually remove what you can reach. Look in applications, your hard drive>library>application support>adobe, your username>library>preferences. In the user library also delete any saved application states for PSE.
Then you can reinstall from scratch.

Using Elements at an Organization

I have been tasked with proposing a method to catalog my organization's photographs and am looking into Photoshop Elements. I am concerned that the keywords/ratings/comments done on one computer will not easily transfer to another computer. For example, let's say I import a batch of photographs using Elements onto our server and keyword them. If someone else on a different computer searchs using the same keyword, will they be shone the images I keyworded on my computer? The goal is to make this as user friendly as possible. Does anyone know how to easily sync many computers utilizing one shared server but using different Elements programs without it requiring a lot of work by each employee? The goal is to make this a long term photograph cataloging protocol.

I think such an effort with PSE is doomed to failure, because PSE simply was not designed to allow multiple users of the same catalog, nor was it designed to allow the catalog to be stored on a server. (Yes, I know some people have a work-around for the catalog on a server problem, but you still have the problem that PSE does not allow multi-user access). If you, and all users, had a rock-solid understanding of how the PSE Organizer worked, you *might* be able to get this to work with great effort (but even so, you will never be able to achieve multi-user write access, you might be able to achieve pseudo-multi-user read access). I think you are most likely wasting your time using PSE in this effort.
Perhaps a program that was designed for multi-user access to the database might meet your needs better. In that case, I know there is a piece of software that does this. It's called Phase One Media Pro 1 ... I have never used it myself, so I only state that it seems to meet your needs, but I am not recommending this software based upon personal experience.

Legal trouble possible using javax.crypto?

I'm currently doing an internship in france, where we need to use RSA encryption in our application as a part of our authentification.
As we could possibly sell our application in all over the world and there seem to be complicate cryptological laws my question is:
Can one possibly get into legal trouble for using the java encryption methods?
I'm totally fine with using a relatively weak encryption (for exemple 512 Bit for RSA) and I do not need to change the policy files (as I understand it,
the RSA keysize is not restricted by the standard policy files anyways) or do stronger encryption than this.
I already found something to show that exporting an application like this is not a problem.

So while logically it makes sense to say "if its not written there it must be allowed", I would like to have something concrete to show my company.

So does this mean that Java needs a license (which it probably has I hope) or our product which uses it does also need it?

In my opinion you are only partly right, it's a legal question about software :-)
And unfortunately I can not pay a lawyer with my student earnings.
As this question is very broad (it concerns everyone who sells java software which utilises the crypto package) am very interested in how you cope with this problem.
Do you ignore it? Use weak encryption only? Ask each state for a licence? Don't sell your product to certain countries?
P.S: Or should i rather move the topic to "Other Security APIs, Tools, and Issues"?

For example so that I can just press shift or another key to get the German character.

Some may already exist, but you will have to learn them. On my old system these can be found through keyviewer.app For example, if I press option+s I get ß Umlaut is a bit cumbersome as option+u then the actual letter. It may be possible to bind a key to do this function, possibly through System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts
I have old, old references for utilities that let you rebind keys to other functions, and you would have to see if they have modern equivalents.

The "restore disk" is built into the Mac. See About Recovery.
Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.

I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check.

Have you recently used any midi controller with Logic.. such as a hardware controller or even an iPad app.
If you used an iOS app, power down (Not just put to sleep) your iOS device and see what happens.. If that fixes it you are running an iOS controler in the background and so you will need to close it..

Saving each image as different size - is it an option for you? I would save images with their name as: 20x30.png, 16x20.png etc etc.
Or explain whether you want these in a webpage in which case only one image is necessary and different sizes are displayed with good CSS code. this is question for Dreamweaver forum if this is what you want.

64-bit windows can run 32-bit applications just fine and always has. They are just limited to a small amount of memory.   If something isn’t working it’s likely another problem like an incomplete download or trying to install the Mac version on a PC or something like that.

If you can’t get things to work, then please post a screenshot of the error and a description of what you’re trying to do that lead to the error.
Also the term “downloading” refers to transferring a file from a remote server, across the internet, to your local computer.   The term “install” means running the program that was downloaded on your local computer to put the working program on your computer that you can run.
It would be helpful to know if your saying that the actual transfer across the internet part isn’t working, or if that part seemed to work, but when you run that installer program you’re seeing an error.
