Trouble Installing Acrobat 9 Professional - Creative Suite 4

I bought a newer HP laptop months ago and loaded all the other components of Creative Suite 4 Design Premium -- Win 7 64 bit - with no issues.
I then tried to install Acrobat 9 Professional and keep getting error messages saying that one or more components dd not load correctly.
My antivirus was turned off and I rebooted after the first failed attempt. The 2nd attempt had the same results.
I've seen others with the same issue while trying to load Acrobat 9 Prof.
What is the "fix" to get this on my new laptop?

I purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe Creative Suite Design Premium in 2010 i am rebuilding my hard drive. How do I redownload and install these. Will there be any different way to do it if I end up buying a new hard drive?

Owner of CS6 Master. Unaccidentally installed Acrobat XI Professional. Was always trial - not upgrade. Uninstalled Acrobat XI Pro. Can I just download the Acrobat X Pro and install it using the CS6 Master License number ?

Hi, I believe I made a mistake when installed Acrobat XI Professional over the CS6 Master version Acrobat X Professional. The result ended up with running a trial version of Acrobat XI Professional. I wanted to upgrade but not using the subscription version, but rather buy the software and own it, like with my CS6 Master Software. Well, I now uninstalled the Acrobat XI Professional and wondering if I now can download the Acrobat X Pro software, install it and use the CS6 Master license number to get going ?

Well. After downloading the separate full version of Acrobat X Professional, it could not be installed using the serial # for CS6 Master Collection. I started the installation for CS6 Master Collection and ONLY selected Acrobat X Professional. Voila! Now everything is working.

Each time I try to install Adobe Application Manager 8.0, I receive an error that says the installer failed to initialize. I am then directied to download Adobe Support Advisor, which, according to your website, doesn't exist any more. I am now stuck. Please help.

Trouble Installing Lightroom 5 from Creative Cloud

I'm having trouble installing Lightroom 5 from Creative Cloud. The file seems to download ok, but once it goes into it's installation I get the following error message:

Thanks for your email. I was able to download and install this morning without any problems. I uninstalled the old version yesterday and restarted my computer but still got errors. However when I turned off last night, windows ran updates and that must of fixed the problem. I also got rid of firefox and put of google chrome. All to use Australia Posts click and send which wouldn't work because of an error with the plugin. Thanks for your very quick reply, I appreciate your help. Have a great day. Whatever license you acquired is likely only good for one version of the software. If you mean you want to install the same version on a second machine then indicate which CS version of the software it is (do not say "educational version").

Be sure you have deactivated it from the old machine. You may have problems with a new system, but you will only find out by trying. If it installs, be sure to do the updates as your first step. Without the updates, you may not be successful. Even with the updates you may have problems, but so far several folks have reported success with Win7 (32 and 64-bit) and there has been a hint of success for Win8.1. Don't bother calling Adobe about any issues as they will tell you it is not compatibile and to by XI.

How did you uninstall the software? Did you utilize the uninstaller in Applications/Utilties/Adobe Installers? If not please try running the uninstaller from there as it should then allow you to reinstall the software.
In regards to a clean tool for Mac OS I believe you are referring too CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html instead of the Acrobat Cleaner tool which is Windows only. It is unlikely that this cleaner tool would affect your installation of Acrobat.

I'd try disabling the Twain_32.8BA plugin in
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Plug-Ins\Import-Export
You can disable the plugin by putting an ~ (tilde) in front of the name or moving the plugin to your desktop.
Then try photoshop cs2 and see if you still get the error message.
I suspect the error has to do with your scanner driver, since photoshop cs2 does not have an ausba4.dll
