Trouble Installing Creative Suite CS6

I'm trying to install Creative Suite Web Design Premium CS6 LS16 on my machine that is running Windows Vista Business (32 bit.) The installer is "failing to initialize" and prompting me to download and install Adobe Support Advisor. I did that and ran it. It told me that it couldn't find anything at fault and sent me here. Any ideas?

Trouble installing Creative Suite 6 Design Standard

Ok, so I am trying to install Creative suite 6 Design Standard for Windows. I have downloaded the two files that were provided, and one of the files leads to nothing because my computer doesn't know how to open it, and the other file tells me that I don't have all of the files necessary to do the installation. Please help, I have successfully installed other downloaded cs6 programs but for some reason this one isn't working. -Nicole

I bought creative suite cs6, the cd, and downloaded a trial while i waited for them to accept my proof of academic status, and now it's been accepted and i have some sort of serial number.
But I don't know where I can download the proper indesign from the numbers i got in the email???

You simply input the serial in your trial version: Help --> Activate. If it doesn't work, simply reinstall using the DVD from your package.

How to re-install creative suite CS6 on a Mac.

I recently purchased creative cloud suite CS6 for my Mac Pro, 2009 model. I was very happy untill I noticed a small program called "clean up" or something like that. I ran the program to clean up my old CS5.5 versions of the suite thinking this would "clean up" my system and thats when the problems started. After running the program I then couldnt open any of the creative CS6 programs. They would start opening then give me an error message associated with loss of quicktime codecs. I then cleverly thought I would uninstall all adobe software then re-install the creative cloud suite. Oh no, apparantly I should have de-activated it first and of course I didn't. I tried re-installing from the cloud but it keeps saying " Download failed, administrator privilages required". I am the administrator and have been for ten long years. After some online research I then thought maybe its because I didnt de-activate the softwarebefore uninstalling it,(I am also running creative suite on my laptop). I de-activated it on the laptop thinking that Adobe would then let me download the software again onto my mac pro as the software can only be loaded on two computers, but no, it is still refusing to download. How do I do this people. I want to use all these very useful programs but can't. I am a small post-house and this is quite urgent as clients are waiting.

looking at the error message that you have recieved while downloading the product " Download failed, administrator privilages required" . This means that there have been some rights/priveledges issues on your macintosh because of which you are not able to download/extract/install any of the Adobe products on your machine . I would request you to kindly try the same under a new Admin user account (just a test account) and then check if you are able to download the same on your machine or not ?
You might also want to check the permissions on your /Lib and ~/Lib if you and every one has read &write or not ? If not , please give full permissions to your folder and the enclosed folder within.

Hi, I have Creative Suite on one computer already, but that computer recently went kaput, and the only one I have left is a Mac (the previous one ran Windows). Is it possible for me to install it on the new computer?

Unfortunately, Creative Suite serial numbers are operating system specific: Mac only or Windows only.
So, although you're entitled to activate the software on up to 2 computers at the same time, they must both be Macs or both be PCs. You cannot use a Windows serial number on a Mac.
You'll have to apply to Adobe for a platform transfer to CS6 for Mac.

Or join the Cloud.
FYI, Cloud software is all multi-platform. There are no serial numbers. It's activated via your Adobe ID and works on both Mac and/or Windows.

I have a new computer and cant figure out how to install the creative suite on it. I have the serial num but the download button doesnt work anymore. From what i read here i can download a trial and activate it with my serial num, but there is no more atrial version to the creative suite...

Trouble installing Creative Suite 2 Prem.

I can't get Creative Suite 2 to install on my iMac. It's a G4 1G, wth 768 MB 10.2.8. The installer says to change the display and colors, which I did. But it won't install. I was told it would be no problem.

According to Adobe's system requirements you need to have OS 10.4.3 installed to run CS2. I suspect it is this difference that is causing your problem. Mac OS Tiger 10.4.8 should run with no problems on your iMac but is a further £90/$129 update.

When I install Adobe creative suite 4 on my mac everything gets installed except for photoshop. When it gets to the menu to select to install Photoshop it will not let me check the box. Does anyone know why?

Trouble trying to install Creative Suite Standard Design 6. It stalls at around 20% when installing "Adobe Help" component. Install time increases but does not go past 20%. Tried several times with same result. I am running Windows 8.1. regards Thomas

while installing, when installation starts to stall, open your running processes and terminate the adobe help process. installation should then continue.
