I am unable to install Extension Manager 6.0.5 Update.  The installation is unsuccessful.  The Error Code is U44M1I0

    Hi Swila,
To help us solve the issue, could you please provide the following info?
    1. Have you ever changed or removed files in the Extension Manger installation folder?
    2. The current version of your Extension Manager.
    3. Platform and the OS version that you are working in( Windows7, Windows8, Mac OS X10.7, 10.8, … )
    4. Please generate installation log with the steps below, and send the log files to [email protected]
    Windows
    1. Open Command Prompt window.
    2. Run command: cd %temp%
    3. Run command: echo > ribs3debug
    4. After that a new file named "ribs3debug" should have been created in temp folder.
    5. Update Extension Manager CS6, via Adobe Application Manager or running updater installer manually.
    6. The log file "X:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\Adobe Extension Manager CS6 xxxx.log.gz" will be created( check the create date of the file and make sure it is the log of your patch installation ).
    Mac
    1. Open a Terminal window.
    2. Run command: cd /tmp
    3. Run command: touch ribs3debug
    4. After that a new file named "ribs3debug" should have been created in /tmp folder.
    5. Update Extension Manager CS6, via Adobe Application Manager or running updater installer manually.
    6. The new log file "/Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers/Adobe Extension Manager CS6 xxxx.log.gz" will be created( check the create date of the file and make sure it is the log of your patch installation ).
A workaround of this issue is, manually deleting the instllation folder of Extension Manager( C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Extension Manager CS6 in windows or /Applications/Adobe Extension Manager CS6 in mac ), then downloading the Extension Manager 6.0.4 from http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/, installing it and try updating it again.
    Thanks,
    Xiaoyi

I cannot re-install Extension manager cc.
After having problems with extension manager not listing installed programs, I decided to de-install it and then again reinstalli it.
I am not able to re-install the Program. I get an error message saying that it could be because of a missing file and I need to download Adobe  support advisorto detect the problem, but when I go the the link I get a wesaage
Adobe Support Advisor has been discontinued,
    Please Help

    Hello,
did you use this limk Adobe - Exchange : Download the Adobe Extension Manager ?
In my case I had no problems. Maybe - after a better analysis - it could be a case for the "Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool".

  • Having troubles with extension manager and new add-on

    Hi,
bought a new add-on (never done that before, so it's new to me).
Extension manager CS6 will not load the add-on.
I checked both manager and add-on, both CS6, so it should work.
Updated the manager this morning, which helped a bit, as it is now loading
80%, asking me to accept the disclaimer.
When I do, I get "unexpected error while trying to install".
Then it's loading and installing again. When it's finished there is no new add-on (extension) loaded or to be seen.
Could you help me with this problem, please?
    Thanks a lot in advance!
    Anne

Hi Anne, what is the add-on called? What build of Extension Manager do you have installed? Are you on Windows or Mac?

  • Could not install add ons for Muse and installed extension manager?

I am a longtime user of photoshop, no Creative Cloud. I recently tried to install add ons and extension manager to build a website in Muse, NO LUCK? Help

It would seem like that article ''should'' solve the problem, but it doesn't seem to have had any effect. I extracted the contents of the .xpi file into the browsers\extensions folder using the extension ID, yet that doesn't seem to have done anything. I ran firefox after copying the uncompressed files with an administrator account with no luck. Any thoughts?

  • RE-installing Extension Manager in CS5

Something has happened to my Extension Manager in CS5 (which I downloaded from Adobe) and I need to re-install.
I can't find anywhere info on how to make this happen.

    Thanks.

You should be able to download and install the Extension manager from http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/.

I've tried this several times via Adobe Application Manager and it fails with:
      Extension Manager 6.0.8 Update

If I try it by downloading the updater directly from Adobe.com it fails with:
      Extension Manager 6.0.8 Update

    reinstall your extension manager, http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/

  • Trouble installing extensions for cs4 on windows 8

Why does the extension manager say that it can't find the installation file after I downloaded it? I'm running windows 8 and I've opened both dreamweaver and the extension manager in administrator mode.

When I select the file with the extension manager it claims that it can't find it.

  • Q: What can I do first when I got trouble in Extension Manager?

Launch Extension Manager again as administrator and do the operation again.
Windows: Right click Extension Manager and select "Run as administrator" in the context menu.
Mac: Run Extension Manager with "sudo" command, for example, for Extension Manager CS5.5, you can run the command below in terminal.
sudo "/Applications/Adobe Extension Manager CS5.5/Adobe Extension Manager CS5.5.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Extension Manager CS5.5"

Enter '''about:permissions''' in the URL/Location bar. (Requires the colon and no spaces)

I am a creative cloud subscriber and I am using a Mac, OS X 10.8.3 and I had a very similar problem. My issue arose when I attempted to update my Creative Cloud Connection application.  I received the adobe error: U44M1P7 and I attempted to download the programs manually too and still received the same error. I looked at the log files and found ERROR: DF022: File corruption detected. Re-install the product & then apply the patch again. (Original file has invalid checksum "3936a57384f17bf5bb3818cb0ae2be3e")(Seq 16).
In order to solve my problem I performed the following simple steps:
Uninstalled the Creative Cloud Connection application using Adobe's Uninstaller
Used my web browser and logged into creative cloud (creative.adobe.com)
Downloaded Creative Cloud Connection and it worked.
If you are a creative cloud subscriber and you are having trouble updating an application, I would suggest using the Adobe uninstaller application for the particular application that is producing the issue and then downloading and installing it fresh from the cloud site.
    Best wishes.

  • Trouble installing Fabric Manager 5.0.7 on 2008R2

    Hello all,
We are about to upgrade our older MDS-9124s to MDS-9148s and I wanted to install the new Fabric Manager. I am trying to install version 5.0.7. I am having a couple issues but am not sure if they are all related. First if I try to select the install links from within start they do not work. The only way I can get the install to start is double clicking the jre file direct. The installation process starts and the dies at what appears to be trying to start postgresql with an error message that initdb cannot be processed because the libpq.dll file cannot be found. If I try to re-run the install it dies becuase the postgre user already exists. I can delete that local account and the installation process will restart only to once again die with the dll error.
Just for grins I ran the postgresql install seperate and it seems to go through a lot more prompts but figured this was not the proper way to get it installed so canceled it. I also tried running the install from the cmd line as I found in another post and it dies at basically the same point but has a net error message 2221. It looks at though this to means that the user created cannot be accessed so postgresql will not start.
I am disabling my virus software while trying all of these items.
    Suggestions??/
    Brent

    @dynamoxxx,
This is a new install and I just completed getting it installed on Friday. I had to actually log onto the server as the local administrator to get it to install. An Admin equivalent account apparently was not good enough. Once I did that it completed just fine. I have come across another apparetly known isse and that is if you exit Fabric Manager and try to go directly back in a box pops up that says Fabric Manager is already running. This is apparently because java never shuts down. You kill the javaws servise and Fabric Manager starts back up without any issue. Of course this also works if you log off the server and back on. This was somthing that I talked with TAC about this morning and since they have quit working on Fabric Manager is not going to be fixed.
That brings me to DCNA. I am moving to Cisco Prime for the rest of my infrastructure and TAC says that DCNA is a part of that or that basically is DCNA. They were telling me that based upon the code level I am running (5.0(1a)) on my switches that Fabric Manager is better. If  I was running newer 6.2 or 5.2 code then use the DCNM and apparently 5.2(8) is newer than 6.2. They also recommended me waiting until 5.2(8b) come out before upgrading the switches and then moving to DCNA. I will figure out that step once I get my SAN migration completed in a few weeks. Until then I am planning to keep what I have.
