Trouble installing PS Element 11. Restarted computer 3 times, uninstalled antivirus, but still to no avail Help, anyone Plz!

Hi Newbie Me,
You can use the following elementary steps if you have not tried already,
Prior to performing any steps, please confirm the compatibility of the Operating system & its version

1. Be logged in as administrator with complete permissions & rights.
2. You can enable the hidden administrator (Windows) or the Root User(Mac).

Enabling Root user in Mac: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1528
3. Restart the system & log in with the admin account. Try to install from here.
4. For Windows you can also perform selective start up. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796
5.If you are on proxy net work or in a corporate network , it will be helpful if you can get connected through local internet with their firewall disabled if possible.
Please try thse steps, it should help you to install.

there are two files for win os, an 7z and an exe.
download both, place both in the same directory and click (or double click) the exe.

Having trouble installing Photoshop elements 12 (dvd version) for Mac. It says "Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to a missing file. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem." What do I do???

I could really use Customer Service help. I received Photoshop Elements as a gift for Christmas...I waiting until i got a new laptop so that I could use that as i was having trouble with older computer. However, I am having trouble installing the software...I swear the dvd added the programs, and I saw them in files explorer i think, but then I cannot find or I was not even able to add the serial number to my knowledge, because it was blank...no keystrokes were shown...and i don't see the program anywhere...Could I have down something wrong and it is somewhere in the cloud?

There is no one that I see how to start using the program as I must sign
in. However, I have never been able to get the number to your firm. Or get
the correct number... I think I clicked on a learning tutorial or browsed
Adobe's website to learn more, but got caught up in all the details.
I never uninstalled virus protection to run it because I thought that it
would ask. I'll try again tomorrow I am frustrated. Thank you for your
patience. I appreciate it totally. It's really sad cause I really wanted to
create. I have wanted this for a very long time and I can't believe how

Hi all, hopefully someone can help me with a problem I'm having installing photoshop elements 12 on my vista pc. Basically I have tried downloading the trial via the download assistant but the program will not load or show any signs of working after I download it. I have also attempted to directly download the trial from Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 Direct Download Links, Premiere too | ProDesignTools but file 1 only seems to download a 1.5mb file that will not open (similar to the download assistant). File 2 will download but upon unpacking it, the installer program in the download will not respond.
I have tried turning all of my antivirus off, and have been downloading with firefox as opposed to internet explorer. I have not had any error messages pop up as no programs or downloads I have tried even seem to load up.
Any help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Doesn't matter if you got it on disk or downloaded.
You've purchased a serial number and, in your case, got a disc and box as added extras.
You can always download the trial version from the Adobe website with any browser and activate that with your serial number.

We would still like to work with you with troubleshooting this issue. Contacting Adobe does not prohibit you from continuing our discussions here.
Contact with Adobe Chat is a good idea. But I do not believe that the Adobe Chat Activation rep will treat this as a Premiere Elements 12 activation problem, and the rep is likely to transfer you to the tech service group once you repeat the details that you have written here.
In view of that you might consider the same basic link but pointing it to Downloading, Installing, and Setting Up instead of Activation.

Trouble installing photoshop elements on 2nd computer - says already on 2 computers

I had elements on 2 laptops but I had to send one of my computers back to HP to have keyboard replaced. While we were trying to pinpoint the problem we decided to set computer to factory settings, so all my programs were taken off - so I thought.
I could not be without my main computer for 2 weeks so I purchased a new one and installed elements on it - it was working fine for about 1 month and then it said that this program was already installed on 2 computers. I tried to uninstall it and then reinstall, but it wouldn't let me. Does the program think it is still on the computer I had to have repaired?

If you did not deactivate it before resetting to factory settings, yes it does.

I have installed Flash Player and also turned off my firewall and antivirus after restarting the computer. What else can I do?

I am being asked to close a program called: dynamiclinkmanager before I can proceed. As far as I can tell there is no program by that name on my macbook running or otherwise. Here is the error I am receiving.

Trouble installing elements 12 on mac maverick.

I have a MacBook Pro with 10.9.4 OS. Just purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 and I am having trouble installing. I put the disk in my computer and my Mac just spits it back out. I tired everything I can think of and nothing seems to get the disk to read. Has anyone else had any problems getting Elements to install? Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem or point me in the right direction of where to find the answer?
