Trouble loading Photoshop from special offer

I just loaded Adobe Creative Cloud at the $9.99 per month special rate. However I am unable to get the Photoshop program running. I don't see a Photoshop screen going--just a download screen. What do I do? Help!!!!!

did the download finish? Installed? Look for program in All Programs.

Photoshop / Lightroom Special Offer Available Features

I just purchased the one-year special offer ($9.99 a month for one year). I installed Photoshop and Lightroom 5. On the "App" menu, I noticed there were other Apps designated "Install" and others "Try". I read on the FAQ for this special offer that "Bridge" was included. "Bridge" was one of the items designated "Install", so I installed it. It installed as an Update, so I guess it is included within Photoshop? I am wondering about the other items noted as "Install", also. I am wondering if they are also Updates which need to be installed? Hope someone can answer these questions. Thank you for your help.

Otherwise, I would imagine that anything that invites to 'Install' from the Desktop Application Manager is included, and anything that invites you Try isn't.

Photoshop/Lightroom special offer

I just subscribed to the special $9.99/month offer for PS and Lightroom. The download page just shows PS - no mention of Lightroom at all. Also, I won't be getting my new computer for a couple of days (old one has Windows XP on it), so I'll have to come back to get the downloads. How do I get to that page? And is there a separate download page for Lightroom?

Photoshop cc special offer not for everyone?

Could someone from adobe explain why this offer is not extended to users in south africa?
Will it be available and when? Adobe actually comes up with a cc plan that interests south africans (yes I have done a search and seen comments in various places on the net where south africans have expressed enthusiasm only to be fobbed off with comments such a '' stay tuned'' or linked to a faq that says cc is available in SA. ) .We have creative cloud available but no single app options and not this special. I have very little interest in paying 3 times the amount p/mth to get all the apps when I do not use them (and whilst being prey to any currency fluctuations as here we pay in us$).
Also adobe needs to do something about creatives that travel or change countries. When a person changes their billing address of their card to reflect their new address abroad there is stuff all way to change the country in the billing information on ones account - what is the solution? create a new account, get a new card ? and when the offer you are interested in is not available in the current locale one finds oneself in then what? tough luck you should have stayed at home?

Installation problem when loading Photoshop from Creative cloud. PS runs for about 5-9 seconds then it crashes with a standard windows app going down message

I have installed PS from the cloud twice now. It loaded without any errors but when I try to run it, it comes up fine with all the dialogs and everything but after 5 seconds it tells me the app is closing down without giving any error message.

I tried loading as admin and this did not work. I have added two images that show the error message and my computer configuration. I am running Norton Antivirus, could this be the problem?
I am running two other editing programs Flexi and Adobe Illustrator, other than that it is a new system running standard programs.

I am new to Organizer and am having trouble loading photos from iPhoto..About 1/3 of them load.

Some of the photos are taken with camera and some with phone.
Please help.

Thankyou Barbara, I am trying to transfer pictures from ihpoto to organizer so that I can arrange in appropriate folders and work on them in elements. I have Elements11. I think most of the photos that have not transferred were taken with camera (canon eos 350D), others taken with smartphone have transferred. I wonder if I need to have canon software loaded.

Trouble loading photos from iPhoto to iPad 2I

2nd time I had to type this because the massage was lost somewhere between my typing and hitting send. Not crazy about iPad yet.
Anyway, when I hooked the iPad to my deasktop to sync, it loaded all of my pictures from years ago, but only part of my latest album loaded. I went in to find how I could limit what loaded and my only choice was to choose "folders". These folders were in my picture file on my big Mac but they weren't any of my recent pictures. But half had got on the camera in the original download. Why isn't "events" a limiter? Anyway, can someone tell me how to load the pictures I want on my iPad? Thanks!

When you are in iTunes you have the option of which folder you want to sync photos from on your computer. I use iPhoto and all of my photos are sorted into events and albums which in effect become sub folders within the main iPhoto sync folder. I choose the Selected albums, events and faces as my sub option and I select the respective folders that I want to sync.
No matter what "master folder" you choose to use to sync photos from - iPhoto or a folder on your desktop - all of the photos that you want to sync - must be in that master folder.

Trouble loading software from CDs?!

I got some troubles installing software on my MacBook.
I use MacOsX 10.4 and I can't install programs like Adobe CS3 or CuBase LE.
I,ve been able to put on Photoshop 7.0 and other stuff, but still can't install those 2 programs.
Can someone help me please?

Possibly, here's a workaround to try:
When the CD is Importing, go to the "Library", iTunes Store, or elsewhere that is not viewing the importing progress on your CD in iTunes.
Also, have you tried this:
Turn off your firewall and antivirus/spyware software. Insert the CD you want to import, and see if anything changes with the antivirus software turned off prior to beginning importing the CD again.

Trouble loading pics from text messages

Why won't my pics, that are sent to me via text messages, loading on my iPhone 5?

We just needed to know what was and was not happening. Now you have said that. What user troubleshooting have you tried? They are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. I would try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The iPhone will restart. Have you been able to receive pictures in the past? If you go into Settings, Messages, is MMS turned on? Can you receive a picture and see it from anyone else?

Trouble loading pages from Internet

After installing Lion I noticed that pages from the internet take a long time to load on both my Macbook and IMac. I have tried restarting the computer which gives a temporary fix. I noticed that Google Chrome and Firefox have the most problems. Safari does as well when you sway away from the Apple content. Anyone having the same problem? Thanks for your help.

Loading photoshop from old computer onto my new computer

I just bought a new computer, and I need to install my Photoshop Elements 9 (which I have on my old computer). When I purchased it in the past, I had downloaded from the web and registered it online. I still have the serial number. I really don't want to purchase this again.

On windows you need both File 1 & File 2 from Adobe. After downloading is finished, both files need to be grouped inside a single folder for the set-up to work.
Click on file 1 to start the download
Click on file 2 to start the download
Go to your downloads folder (or wherever you saved them) and place the 7z file and the application file into a single folder e.g. create a new folder named: Install PSE9 and drag the two downloads inside it.
Then double-click on the application and choose run which should start the file extraction and installation.

Trouble opening Photoshop from Creative Cloud!

I have logged in on mye Creative Cloud, my Photoshop is installed and up to date, but every time I try to open it - nothing happens. It is installed on my desktop on my MacBook Pro. How do I solve this?

Where are you trying to save the download too? Do you have adminstrative privelages? Which operating system are you using? Finally are you on a Managed network?

I am creating a slideshow and found a script that will load
the images via an XML document, but I believe the script is for an

Trouble loading file from another computer! Help!

Alright, I'm currently making a Flash animation for a final
exam project in school. I started it yesterday and today I thought
it would be a good idea to work on it at home, so I transfered a
copy of the Flash document to my Kingston USB mass storage stick.
When I tried to load the said document onto the computer I'm
currently on a message box popped up saying "Unexpected file
format" and fails to load the file. The same thing happens when I
try to load another Flash document that I had also stored on the
mass storage stick.
I'm using Flash MX Professional 2004, and I'm fairly certain
that the Flash program at my school is either Flash MX Professional
2004 or Flash MX 2004.
Can anyone help me?

Lightroom pulls up photoshop from backup drive rather than boot drive

I am using the latest versions of Lightroom and Photoshop for Mac.
I back up each night using super duper. In Lightroom, when I choose to Edit in Photoshop CC 2014, Lightroom loads Photoshop from my backup drive. The only workaround I have found is to dismount my backup drive. Is there a place I can go in either lightroom or photoshop to specify from which drive Photoshop should start when Editing from Lightroom. If I start photoshop first, then Lightroom "finds" the correct Photoshop, but I'd like to actually solve this rather than using a workaround. BTW, I used Adobe's instructions for uninstalling Lightroom and then re-installed, but that did not solve the problem.

ANSWER BELOW:
I discovered a work around - super duper has a way to create custom scripts which will NOT back up items you specify. I went to the backup drive of my main drive and deleted both photoshop CC and lightroom cc. After running super duper using the custom script (which they explain thoroughly in the latest super duper manual) and NOT backing up either Photoshop or Lightroom (in Applications) things are back to normal. If I need to reinstall either photoshop or lightroom, I can easily do that from the web.
