Trouble playing Music on a 9300

I tried to search both your forum and the net for someone with a similar problem, yet I found nothing. My apologies if this is a regular problem, if so I'd appreciate someone pointing me towards the correct topic.
My problem is that my 9300 communicator seems unable to make more than a few songs functional if they are placed on the external memory card (512 Mb MMCMobile from Sandisk).
Before buying the card, I kept a few songs on the internal memory (as many as would fit, 5-10). This worked just fine. After buying the card, I figured I'd be good for a lot more. However, only the first four to five songs on the card load correctly in the music player.
Just to make things clear, the card works well. It's FAT formatted, and I can move things from my mobile phone to my computer or vice versa without any trouble. It shows up in the phones File Manager, and I can see all songs, and get information on them. But when I open the Music Player, only 4-5 songs will work, the others simply give me an error message.
I've tried moving the songs via cable to the MMC, both with file transfer and with the Music Manager. Both ways give the same result. I've copied the same set of files several times, and different songs will work. So obviously there must be some way to get them all to work.
Has anyone else encountered/solved this problem? for the life of me I cannot understand why I'd be able to play songs of the main phone memory, but not off the MMC card.

All right, it seems that no experts will weigh in on this so I'll just post what I've discovered on my own during the last week.
It seems that there is something wrong with the hot swap function in the phone, though it isn't completely dependent on that. If I add music to the card and simply plug it in, some songs will get garbled while others wont play at all. If I instead shut the phone down by removing the battery, insert the card, and restart, everything works better. There'll still be the occasional non-working song, but to a much lesser degree than previously, and there will be no garbled songs.
I'm not sure why this should be so, but apparently hotswapping doesn't work well with music. I've not seen this mentioned anywhere on the net or in FAQ's, so I assume that it might be something wrong with my phone (or possibly not that many people use their 9300's as music players). Still, it works well enough for me right now, even though it is irksome to sometimes have to transfer a song two to three times before it works. And of course, it doesn't explain why music transferred through PC Suite to the card suffers the same problems as before.
