Trouble playing You Tube video on iPad 2 - stops/starts - can't get through a single video. HELP.
I have the iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G but it's not currently on my Verizon plan - only connects via home wireless internet. I'm confused as to why I've never been able to successfully play/view any kind of video via the internet? The video loads and begins to play...but about 10 seconds in...it hangs up and then I have to play a cat and mouse game of pause/play to get it to 'load' a little bit more...and finally about 60 seconds worth I throw in the towel and head for the iPhone or my Mac. So what gives? My iPad does so much...even plays videos I TAKE. Why won't it play You Tube videos???!!! Is that Icon on my Home Screen just to taunt me and store the videos I'll never be able to view more than 10 seconds???
Please help guide me to the simple fix.

Try viewing youtube from the browser and going to youtube.com rather than using the YouTube app.
Also, try at different times of day and report back. Where I am, by 7pm the cable modem slows down considerably with all the Netflix viewing. I swear Comcast is throttling bandwidth for video streaming!

When the Mac was setup you had to create an administrative password.and account. Yo have to sign into that account to install apps/plug-ins like Flash. To reset that password.

I have no volume on my IPad when trying to play video from apps such as Ellen or Jimmy Fallon. I do have sound when I play You Tube or my music.

Why is Firefox crashing when I am playing You Tube favorites playlists and other You Tube videos?
Lately within the last 2-3 weeks I have had a lot of crashes on my computer when I am running Firefox version 3.6.3 and trying to watch You Tube videos. It seems to only crash when I am on You Tube. It crashes even quicker when I am on Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. I have installed the latest version of Adobe Flashplayer recently. I never had trouble watching You Tube videos until recently. The You Tube site will open, I sign in, and then I go to my subscriptions or favorites and select a video. It will begin to play, get a minute or so in, and then I get the error message that it's crashed.

This is what I did: right-mouse clicked on the desktop, whent to properties, went to display properties, went to settings, clicked on advanced tab, and then clicked on troubleshooting tab. There I drug the hardware acceleration slider to the left to disable it, clicked ok twice as directed, restarted the computer and then I couldn't get firefox to open at all, but I went to internet explorer and got on you tube and tried to watch a video, but it crashed again.
So I don't think that worked. I couldn't figure out how to disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin, but did it on the desktop instead. Are there different steps I need to take to accomplish this?

Can't play you tube and other videos with Firefox. Have re-installed Adobe Flash player without success. I can play you tube videos using Internet Explorer.
I am also unable to even see the link to audio replay on Capitol Pressroom archives. The same link is visible and functional on Internet Explorer.There are some compatibility issues between the latest Flash player and some Firefox add-ons or settings. I suddenly can,t access you tube videos via my iPad. Tried safari and you tube app on iPad. I get no videos and then it asks for you tube password. Not had that before.
Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

Compare the two-letter Country Code with the ISO code for your country. Does it match? The code X0 means that the country couldn't be determined. The code X3 means South America, not otherwise specified. -

I try to update IOS 6 to my ipad 2/ wf/3g and after about half of the procedure stopped ... then I try to reconnected to the itunes and say "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes". Can everyone help please. In the screen of iPad appears the itunes Logo and the cable of connectios. Can't do nothing!!!

Apple blocked Flash yesterday because of a serious security problem that is being used to hack PCs and Macs with Flash.
Adobe has released a Flash update that makes Flash work again on Macs. You can download it on Adobe website > http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer I recommend you to restart the Mac after installing this update
