Trouble printing a PDF file online.

I am using a Deskjet 3510 all in one printer setup to print using a wireless connection.  I am using Windows XP on my PC. I found a User Manual to print off on the web and the print comes out with some pages OK, however the majority are in a language I can not understand.  Any else have this problem and have a solution?
With thanks,
Dave1952

Sounds like this is a file incompatibility issue, Dave. I am going to suggest a few things. First, have you tried downloading the file and printing it directly from your computer using Adobe? If so have you made sure that your Adobe Reader is the most up to date? If you are wishing to keep the file on the web and print directly from your browser then we should tray changing your browser to a different one, like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome
http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/
Try that and let me know what happens! Can you also attach a link the manual?

  • Printing a PDF file online with any OJ 100 printer,we receive unknown error light sequence.

When printing a PDF file online on all of our Officejet 100 Mobile L411 USB printers, we encounter an undocumented error light sequence. The error light sequence we encounter is Power light blinks in conjuction with the Bluetooth light then those 2 lights blink off and the Resume light and both cartridge lights  blink on. then those three lights blink off and the power light and the Bluetooth light blink on again and so it goes. You cannot reset this error by any other means other than powering the printer down and the printer will not power down with the power button. The only way the printer will power down with the above flashing light sequence showing is to disconnect AC power and remove the battery.
With the above described flashing light sequence displayed, the printer has no problem continuing to print and will continue to print other documents with the flashing light seguence displayed.
If the above mentioned PDF file is saved off to the computer and then printed from there, it will print on this printer ok without starting the flashing light sequence described above so evidently there are control characters attached to the online PDF file that get stripped off when the document is saved. I don't know what those characters could be but I do know that only all of the Officejet 100 printers we have display this problem. We can print the same documents on our HP 470 mobile printers ok without any issues or have no problem printing the same document with other models of HP printers. It is only when printing this document with any HP Officejet 100 mobile L411 printer that we have this problem.
As mentioned above, the flashing light sequence described above is not a sequence described in the Operators Manual so we don't know what it means. Also it is apparent that the online document(s) we are printing have some control characters attached to them that are incompatible with this printer but we do not know what characters they are. Are there some settings that we can setup in the printers properties that would solve this issue for us?
As I have explained above, this particular flashing light seguence does not keep the printer from printing the online documents or any other documents succesfully, however this sequence cannot be reset by any other way other than killing all power to the printer.

  • I can't print my PDF files

    can't print pdf file

    Hi sail8,
I'm sorry that you're having trouble printing your PDF file. Is the problem specific to one PDF, or are you unable to print any PDF files?
We'll need a bit more information to help you solve this issue, so please let us know the following:
What you're printing from (Adobe Acrobat, Reader, a browser).
What operating system you have (Mac OS or Windows, and version).
If you're printing directly to the printer, or over a network.
Whether you get an error when you try to print, and what that error is if you do.
I look forward to hearing back from you.
    Best,
    Sara

  • Cannot print some pdf files

    Hello,
Having trouble printing some pdf files that I am receiving via email, not from 1 person, from several different persons.
My operating system is Windows 7
    Adobe Reader Version: 11.0.10.32
As per suggestion on forum I have changed on Edit, Documents to View documents in PDF/A mode to Never.
Also, changed Security (advance) from Enable Enhance Security to not.
Also, tried repairing, uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Reader.  Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance for any help.

    What exactly means "having trouble"?

You can make sure that you use Adobe Reader as a PDF Viewer in the browser, although some browsers do not work with Adobe Reader.

  • Why cant I print a pdf file?

I can no longer print a pdf file.  I cannot figure out what the problem is.  How can I check to make sure Adobe and Reader downloaded and installed correctly?

Please provide some details: operating system, Reader version, online PDF?  Browser?  Error message?
You write "a PDF"; so it's only one PDF you cannot print?  Is printing allowed in the document properties?

  • Reading pdf files online

    Hello,
I hope this is the right forum to post this issue-  Anyway, my problem is the actual reading of pdf files online. Most of my documents, using Acrobat.com, are on average 25 pages. However, when I attempt to read a document, I can never get past a certain page before it goes back to page one. For example, i can go through pages 1, 2, 3 or maybe up to 5, then it would go back to page one. I assumed that happened because the document had not fully loaded in the browser (firefox or google chrome) and maybe needed time to do so but even after ten minutes the problem remained.
Downloading the file to read is not a problem as it shows nothing is wrong with the file. So my question is: is this a problem that is being looked at or is one expected to download and read the files? I understand that it is beta and I have high hopes for it but i hope u can answer sometime.
    Thanks in advance

I'm sorry you're running into this error when previewing your PDF on Acrobat.com. I know this sounds odd, but try to use the scroll bar on the side of the document and/or the arrow keys up top for flipping through the pages, and let me know if this clears up the issue. I also had trouble using the arrow keys to flip through a PDF, but when I tried the scroll bar it worked and then the arrow keys worked properly as well.

  • Cannot print a PDF file after upgrading to Windows 8.1

Cannot print a PDF file after upgrading to Windows 8.1
I can print anything else from either the Desktop or Start but not a PDF.  No error message but just does not print.
Update: down loaded Adobe Reader which runs on the desktop so when I read a PDF file it now runs on the desktop and I can print it.
